Also, a side note! If it's your first time in Awaji, here are a couple other things you can do on Awaji that I recommend that weren't included in this video.
‣ Naruto Whirlpools (Make sure to check their schedule that week to see what date/time is best to view the whirlpools)
‣ Awaji Monkey Center

Beautiful! I love the way you record memories and moments with loved ones
Thank you ❤ I love capturing these moments to look back on
Another beautiful video of your family making memories together. Thanks for sharing as always 😊❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your culture, shitsurei shimasu for watching
I am an American living on Awajishima. My Japanese wife was born and raised here. It is a very nice place and you did a good job showing it. Doumo arigatou gozaimasu!
Glad I was able to present it well 🥰 Thank you!
This was gorgeously shot and edited ! As cliche as the saying is, the vibes were palpable. Would love to know what hardware you shot this vlog on !! I found this because me and my friends are going back to Japan in January and we were looking at Awaji Island as a possible day trip out of Osaka! So glad I stumbled on your channel!
Just perused through your uploads and man your color grading is so on point to boot~~~
The vlog was mostly shot on a sony a7siii! For your Awaji trip, I would also recommend the Naruto Whirlpools (make sure to check online for what time of day is best to see the whirlpools) and my parents said the monkey park is also fun 🥰
Lovely video! Whats the song at the end?
Thank you! The song is Ride Ride by Alex Kehm.
You did not go to the awaji monkey center? I’m only planing going to that island only for the monkey park. 😅
Oooo yeah didn't have time so we skipped it! But my sister went the year before and it looked pretty fun 🥰
Hi. What are some tourists traps there? Can you give me the details or just hints?
My parents didn't really name any specific ones but that one photo spot we went to definitely was a tourist trap hahah. Maybe just do a quick google review search before visiting anywhere that requires payment to enter 😅 But the Ando Tadao museum was free to stroll around in and definitely NOT a tourist trap!
Hi ! Question how easy is to move around the island without knowing Japanese?
I can speak Japanese so I'm not too sure what the experience will be like if I couldn't... but I do think that Japanese locals are overall open and willing to meet you halfway! So I would recommend renting a pocket wifi, and downloading google translate/google maps and you should be able to get around okay :)
