Developer here - Thanks for covering our Demo, I greatly enjoyed watching it! Even though the demo "ends" after defeating the Ancient Chief, we do have an unlockable hardcore mode + characters/abilities, and we have an upcoming Endless Mode (releasing later this month)
Coop? Games like this just screams coop fun to me.
@@gearedcorp We would love to add coop, but it is a big time commitment, so it would likely be post-launch (like Don't Starve Together). With the size of our team we want to focus on creating a great singleplayer experience first and if that goes well, dedicate our time to implementing coop.

Enemies: throw dynamite and poison balls with a huge cooldown, signifying that you're obviously supposed to dodge them
Splat: stands still, taking massive amounts of damage
Dynamite barrel or crafting device, probably worth checking out?
Splat: Nah, I'm out
Splat: I tend to engage in glorious melee
also splat in other videos: it's not cowardice it's a dex build
You know it's gonna be good when your only complaint is that it's too short
thats because its just the demo so its not the full game, this looks really cool. ill prob pick it up

Ok this one has caught my eye. I mostly don't like crafting games. But this one I'm feeling. Too bad about the time part. I wish it had a level cap around 12 or 13. But you can play the map until your heart is content. Because you was finding some good stuff in your first run. The gem system is pretty cool. Unlocking new classes & stuff. Sorry about the bee.. at least they only string one time. Unlike a hornet who string multiple times. God I hate getting string on the top of my head.
The combat give me some nice In Celebration of Violence vibes, which I like. Probably my favorite thing about that game other than the creey lore. Going on the wish list.
SUCH A GOOD GAME! I didn't know anyone else had played that lol. I like that because it's so obscure, there aren't really any full strategy guides online.. so it ends up feeling super "mysterious" in the same way N64 games did when I was a kid. I thought I had just gotten old but it turns out the internet kinda ruins things sometimes

Btw, with the lightning weapon, I'll bet power attack would have been really helpful since you kept running out of charge. At least if it doesn't use more charge than normal.

Yes! There is also an unlockable hardcore mode once you beat the demo. We will also be releasing an "Endless Mode" for the demo where the night never ends until you die.

Oh come on seriously. I hate it when the loading screen looks good with models that have multiple pixels, then you load into the game and you play as a blob. Hint to developers: you will have less people loosing interest if the loading screen is actually representative of how the game looks. Looks aren't everything but presentation is.

2 minutes into the video, a 3 minute advert. UA-cam is really testing my patience with adverts, these days 🤔 They're getting more frequent, longer and some, often unskipable...
I go via the Brave mobile bowser (totally free, no IAPs etc) never see another ad again 🙂
I think I will, thanks 🙂 That's not going to solve using UA-cam on my console, but it's something to consider for the phone. I'm not against supporting creators with SOME ads but UA-cam has been taking the p**s, with the amount and length of ads, lately.

Haha, no, it doesn't, and they are quite different games. We decided on the name "Wild Light" 9 years ago, but Wild Fire is a great game and definitely worth playing!

I really like the pixel art in the menu and was hoping for some awesome sidescrolling zombie slashing action...but top down pixel survival? I don't know, not for me I guess
