Was a Red every day of the week. He looked where Rafferty was and took him out with an elbow. Hence the lack of argument from Rhodes and the rest of your team/manager. You also forgot to mention the tackles on Lang and Spakes who both had to go off injured.
It's been overturned and rightly so the most ridiculous red card I have ever seen! 🤬 sorry Adrian but may I suggest a trip to specsavers 😂
He didn’t argue because he’s an experienced professional who in 17 years has never received a Red card. The defender played the referee, as we all knew the card got rescinded and rightly so. Turns out the referee was from Preston as well. Can you imagine having a referee from Southampton at one of your games?

The defender challenging Rhodes went down as if he'd been elbowed in the face. Couldn't see anything to justify his reaction. Great effort to get a draw. Hope no too knackered for Tuesday.
Yes he deserved an Oscar for the theatrics or at least a yellow
But why didn't Rhodes react and protest his innocence, he just walked off
I think that's just how he deals with such situations. He's probably learnt over many years that there's no point arguing with refs.
@@iannally9488 I'm a pompey fan and watched on ifollow and with the benefit of slow motion it wasn't a red, maybe a yellow but that would have been harsh. Norburns challenge on Lang was a bad tackle which resulted in Lang going off Injured, but that went totally unpunished. I think the level of refereeing at this level is shockingly poor .

Yeah it looked grey to me but in her defence she had been for an appointment to see if she could have laser surgery the day before and they put drops in your eyes to dilate your pupils so she really was struggling to see.
However, I edit these videos and I am a bit of a prankster and I like to throw her under the bus every now and then🤣😂

Honestly I think you'll finish top You've got them and Bolton still to play and you and Peterborough have looked by far the best teams that we have played so far. Portsmouth could quite easily blow up yet we shall see. It's going to be an interesting run in.
@@LeeCharlesTV they seem to be picking up as many injuries as points I believe…so are Bolton so it’s gonna take the full squads of each team to get who ever over the line….Dwight Gayle,s started off ok for us, since arriving, and Collins is due back in the next couple of weeks along with Washington too, waghorn,s already back now and scoring too so we’re looking fairly strong…I just hope n pray Mendez Laing stays injury free , as he’s been immense all season….good luck for the remainder and here’s hoping your right….any auto spot and I’m in dream land after everything we’ve been thru too…the loyal fan base deserves it so much Lee imo…🫡🫶

Did look a harsh red, yellow maybe but definitely not a red. It's not just Blackpool getting these shit decisions by any means, we had Tom Macintyre sent off recently when he clearly won the ball, in fact the challenge from the opponent fractured his ankle and he's out for the season. It's the football league, the officials are generally shit it seems..As for Westwood's bell, we become immune to it after a few seasons. He's normally 20 mins late after kick off anyway, after his 10th pint of Guinness in the pub, so that's only about 70 mins of it to endure😂 love him or hate him, Westwood is a living legend and he does not give a toss what people think. Great support from Blackpool as well, proper club proper fans.
Yes the officials are poor generally but to let a PNE fan referee our game was a disgrace. I'm sure you would be as annoyed if they let a Saints fan referee you at home.
Quite unbelievably as I can honestly not think of one occasion that the EFL have overturned a card decision for us
They have overturned it, shame really because it possibly cost us 2 points and we could well just miss out by a point or 2.
However, if we do it's not down to this one decision we have thrown away so many points
@@LeeCharlesTV that's scandalous if a Preston fan has been allowed to ref a Blackpool match, something pretty wrong has gone on there. Yep if a saints fan was allowed to ref a game of ours there would be anarchy! The Efl seem to make it up as they go along and couldn't care less about anyone else. Hopefully it hasn't cost you the chance of playoffs anyway.
I was working on the concourse and saw the sending off on TV down there, never a red, hope they are appealing.
They are appealing but the EFL never overturn a decision for us. If they don't overturn it then it will once again prove their agenda against US, it was bad enough them sanctioning a nobber to ref the game
