That’s just it, the pointless anecdote has to act as the actual “content”. The recipe is just the medium to allow for those stories.

So it's like government protected cheese brands. Essentially, you are allowed to follow a recipe to make Parmigiano Reggiano and to sell it, but you are not allowed to call it Parmigiano Reggiano since it's the regional name or brand for that cheese.

Not until the very end. Felt the tension between them. IH wanted a more realistic scenario to play out but Sumito just wanted to over exaggerated and not play along. They both seemed a little upset at the end, but it’s IH video and everyone loves Sumito so it has to be an entertaining video anyways.
Personally I prefer the co-host hitman with the gun with an extremely long and narrow barrel. All are good though. Every video is an experience.

Hey, the hotdog question depends on whether or not they're all eating simultaneously or not.
I don't know about you, but the last time I tried to serve 100 hotdogs to 100 children (last Friday) I was unable to cook all 100 hotdogs at the same time, and plop all 100 hotdogs in front of all 100 children...at the same time. So no, it would take a LOT longer than 1 minute to serve 100 kids 100 hotdogs. I mean, how many can you carry at one time? How big is the table the kids are sitting at? Can you even do a lap of the table in 1 minute without all the hotdogs sliding off your gargantuan serving tray?
What if some of the kids want Ketchup and the others want relish or something equally disgusting (more delay, now you're absolutely over the 1 minute deadline by now). HAVE YOU TRIED MEETING THE INSANELY PICKY DEMANDS KIDS THESE DAYS HAVE? Heck, at least 1 or 2 would probably insist you cooked it into a funny shape, cut it up for them, or sing some stupid song before they'd eat it.

It's actually the cost of cooking them from raw that makes tinned ones economically viable... unless you like cook 5lb of them at a go.

Lentils however, because they're much smaller, are much move viable economically.
Don't know about beans, as I detest them, but the difference in canned vs. fresh is absolutely astonishing. Canned is for when things are out of season or you're in a rush. Or you just don't care about taste.
Fresh kidney beans are toxic. You should only buy tinned.
