hi, i know this video is decently old but im going to be following the same steps you did as i have almost identical hair to his just a bit longer and i love the way it came out. but i have one question, after the bleaching what did you use to wash his hair out before putting the toner on? was it purple shampoo or just regular? or did you just wash it?
I just used regular shampoo!! I didn't condition though. If you have purple shampoo I don't think it would hurt to use that to rinse, BUT since you are gonna tone after, using purple shampoo might tweak the color. I hope that made sense. Nothing wrong with using purple shampoo after toner, but BEFORE I don't think that's necessary. If that's the only thing you have on hand, then go for it. But don't waste your time going out to buy it!!!

So I did one round of bleach with one pack of the violet prism lites and it got most of it just some spots didn’t touch bleach. I gotta get another pack to redo the spots and the whole thing once over since it’s really orange. Anyway I been sifting for videos on UA-cam and yours is literally the only on that has helped since my hair is kinda his length maybe a bit longer and the color looks really dope In my opinion. Anyway should I stick with the same kinda bleach or should I get the blue kind since my hair was super dark to begin with... Idk I’m waiting a week anyway and I did it two days ago so I got time.
tbh you can do blue or violet. If your hair is already "bleached" going over it again will lighten it no matter what. If I were you, the only thing I would do different is use a 30 developer if you originally used a 40. And also using a toner will help a TON with getting it to a nice blonde! And thank you so much!! I got to redo his it's TIME hahaha.
