For my hair it took me 3 bleaching to go from black hair to pale blonde
And I think I still need 1 more bleaching to go to white
My hair was virgin so this was kind of like painful 🤔 i used 30 volume peroxide tried 40 but it burned me (that's when it became painful)

It takes trial and error, and Olaplex.

Austin's a gorgeous guy, and you ended up with a great color. I have to ask, why did your assistant rub the developer into his scalp after it was already saturated, and why did you rub and pull at his hair after his scalp was obviously chemically burned? You should NOT rub or agitate someone's scalp after bleaching their hair.

    • @DimaAntonov
      @DimaAntonov 8 років тому +14

great but just reminding that both wella and loreal Master Colour Training Courses they are making sure you do not use the plastic on the hair. As bleach needs some air to work properly. Also the heat isn't recommended for scalp bleaching . By the way i am not putting this rules these are the factory recommendations.
by the way you can create this with 10/6 + 1.9%
or new wella instamatic or illumina 10/69
you don't need the old wella colour.

  • @MichaelJonesCarmichaeldude

Yeah beautiful ,until it starts breaking. This guy broke the cardinal rule of bleach and tone! You MUST shampoo after bleaching your hair usually 2x before applying your toner, burning be damned! It doesn’t hurt to use a ph corrector after shampooing to close cuticle and reduce the swelling that bleach causes. The reason? If you don’t get all of that bleach residue out of the hair, it’s going to continue to work to a degree. You may get a reaction with your toner so that the color is off. It contributes to breakage. It’s no fun to wake up with half of your hair on your pillow! Your toner is not going to last long necessitating the constant use of purple shampoo / conditioner! If you use the same ph corrector after your toner, your toner will last longer as it closes the cuticle and traps the color molecules in the hair so it doesn’t fade as quickly! I bleach and tone my own hair and have ever since I went to beauty college and got my license 35 years ago now! I had a pro colorist as one of my instructors. Back when we did it right!

Clarisa... Justin said austin was lighter...
But Mixing properly, utilizing heat(scalp, foil) and/or humidity to advantage you will get amazing lift.
I was always hardcore and just bleeched hair until was white without toners haha. Took a little bit but i remember being so anti toner.
Ill still lift myself super light but mixing and understamding chemistry of colour better and products etc has really helped and now its fun to just tone with different effects. Metallics junkie here haha
    And justin is beautiful

Great video. It's not dark vs light hair as much as it's diffuse or granulose pigment. "The natural pigment of the color, called melanin, is found in the cortex of hair. ... eumelanin: granulose pigment with variable tones from red to deep black (found in higher percentage in darker hair) feumelanin: diffused pigment with variable tones from yellow to light red (found in higher percentage in lighter hair)", With granulose hair try L'Oreal Majiblond 900 and 40 vol. Do a patch test!

This is so not for the do it yourself bleachers. For having dark brown hair mine bleaches quite easily but I don't think I would want to do this, so much effort and in two months roots will be growing back then I just bleach it all over again, it makes the first bleach brighter and naturally the roots will not be as bright but it's hardly noticeable. I would just hate to risk frying my hair by going over it again and again with so many chemicals back to back. I'm happy with a subtle yellow tone, not crayon yellow but the kind of color you'd get if you smashed a white and yellow crayon together, it just looks more natural to me.

One last thing, what's your thoughts on using shades 9t+with clear+clear to make this a more icey grey look or do you need the lift from the t18 too. Hope you get a chance to reply... :)

Great vid! This is Exactly how I bleached my husband's hair , it was a bit hash the first time but after with the maintenance and root touch ups, it didn't ich or anything like that. I used a level 10/8 extra lightened pearl blonde hair color and toned it with "Extra Clair" half ash(11/02) , half pearl(11/08) toner by LK. His hair looks amazing and he loves it. I like that it really makes him look younger and hip and his hair still feels great because I used colorphlex in the bleach and color. There is a lot of maintenance but it's all good cause it gives us extra time together. I even made him toner shampoo and conditioner to cut the cost down.

I understand NOTHING. I have zero knowledge about the tones and bleaching, I just know I want icy white hair. I'm just scared and confused. I'd love to do it myself but I don't know how and yet I'm not trusting people at the salon because usually all they care about is money and if they fry my hair,if I lose my hair they wouldn't give a fuck. They'd play it like its my fault for wanting it. LOL And besides what do I do when my brown hair starts growing? I don't wanna go to a salon everytime my hair grows out because my hair grows fast.

There were so many things wrong with this video. First, you should not be using heat to process lightener. It’s best to leave the lightener on under room temperature. Next, you should not be using Wella Color Charm as a licensed cosmetologist. This is one of the worst products to use because it is a permanent hair color. Permanent hair color is not recommended after a lightening service because it’s too aggressive.

    Thanks

Hi Justin. Love the end result on Austin, looks so hot. I have dark brown hair, and wanted to do this for years. Had a hairdresser talk me out of it coz of up keep. What would you think? Would it be worthwhile doing? Thanks . Love all your videos.

I find that shampoo assistant does not look very professional with her tied top and belly button showing. Personally I think you should shampoo but NOT SCRUB the scalp so you can be sure to get out all LIGHTENER so you toner does not react and over pigment certain areas.

Wow, that's about as much work Sugar Boy does on a regular day.
It's obvious he was already receding at that point. Has the balding gene. Have to say though the Propecia that sugar daddy is paying for has saved some of the hair.
Think about cutting that sugar boy loose Sugar Daddy if you really want what's best for him. And let him grow up and earn some respect and integrity on his own. He already has a father and your relationship is unhealthy and pathetic. And you're not getting any bussy action from him anyways, he's always on Grindr.

Just a question : does it exist natural people with the same color at 9:36 ? Because I 'm almost sure I met some in North Europe...But don't know if it was true or fake .. Anyway very good job amazing!

You wouldn't think watching coloring hair would give anyone an idea for a production number for Holiday on Ice in Europe. Well, it just did. The lead looks like this guy with the white hair and with the lighting, his hair cculd be any color. Wirh his shirt off, it would give the number even more punch.

You said start on the ends first, then do the root. But you started on his shortest hair - basically on scalp - on the back and sides. With 40vol. Under heat. Sounds dangerous. His natural was light enough that 20vol would have been fine, especially on scalp.

Is quite easy to bleach if you start at level 8 to get a 11 tone; even worst why do you have to use Ammonium persulfate if you have lots of ammonia free products that lift you up to 5 tones? Why do you have to damage the hair scalp and hair unnecessarily? keep on trying ... and i dare you to get the same color starting at dark brown, come on show us what are you made of.

Why did you put on a 40 vol on his scalp? Way too high! And at first you said; don't wash after toner, but then on the paper stood: wash after the toner. So what's right?
