Luke, this is a perfect interview. Thank you very much for this - very interesting, and you managed to be a good listener as well as asking the right questions, which even brought out Blixa's humour. This is simply great.
I've always been very impressed with Blixa's mastery of English. My German is primitive and could maybe--MAYBE--help me get food and water or help me to find a bathroom in Germany, whereas Blixa's English is poetic.
I know, his English is excellent. I'm just a learner and I do want to get better, but I could never dream of ever being as eloquent and articulate as this man is.
No fat shaming please. He is aging gracefully without trying to be something that he’s not. He enjoys cooking and drinking wine. He’s certainly earned the right to any enjoyment that he can get out of life after entertaining his fans for 40 years.
Blixa has the most beautiful speaking voice..
when he said "it goes away that pain....i can promise you" with a smile.....! blixa has always been such a soft and warm person.
Interesting he quoted Leonard Cohen: "I ache in the places where I used to play"... Tower of Song

That's so sweet 🥺
More people need to ask musicians about their interests in art, history and culture
I love the older human that Blixa has become. So intelligent and very cultured man.
It's so good to see an interview with Blixa in English. I wish it was longer 😪
What a beautiful discussion about creation. I love hearing artist talk about their creative process. So many interviews are just about bullshit.

Fantastic interview with an incredibly eloquent and fascinating human.
Great work by Rathbone, giving Blixa a lot of space- love the rapport here
Finally someone who cuts through to Blixxas world. in other Interviews, there is nearly nothing of him to get to know.
I view the world in the same way funnily enough
I love blixa.i love his accent
"I ache in the places I used to play" nice Leonard Cohen reference

What an interesting interview, thank you! :)
Thank you Luke
Brilliant
BLIXA GENIUS..!!
3:30: Now he's moving between Heidegger (revealing of being) and Husserl (going to things themselves).
I've yet to convince my mother to let me grow my hair and go as blixa for Halloween
oh.... so he's human after all!
No. He is German.
Blixa lazing about listening to Leonard Cohen.. now there's a picture.
Thought it was howard stern in the thumbnail.
"I ache in the places where I used to play"
it sounded more like he was saying he plays in the places where he used to ache
Leonard Cohen
Leonard Cohen quote, "Tower of Song". The words are in the right order.
not sure if i got it right from the conversation... but is Blixa making photos as well?
I don't know why but he reminds me of Günther Netzer.

Blixa looks fat nowadays. Good for him. Still love him.
Well deserved fat, beautiful still and a fine soul.

Most of us will begin to gain weight once we reach age 53 (especially if we stop living on amphetamines). It might even happen to you.
