Great idea! I recently bought a Laura mercier foundation with a pump and I was worried about not being able to get all the way to the bottom. I would suggest that if you dont want to transfer whatever foundation you have left to another bottle to put it in a plastic baggie to keep the foundation from drying out. I love that you actually use up your make up completely! I'd love to see a video of all the make up you managed to pan (aka. completely emptied)! Love you videos and happy new year! ❤
I bought a brand new NYX Foundation & only used it once because after that it stopped pumping out product for some reason 🤦🏽♀️ I tried returning but didn’t have my receipt so they wouldn’t return 😩 & I can’t get it open for nothing. Will try this little trick. thanx 👍🏽😊
Where did you buy it from? If you have an awards account from the store (ex. Ulta) they can pull up your info without a physical receipt because it kept track of your purchase.
@@mbalimasombuka4384 it’s because this foundation dries out really fast. take off the pumper and try using a needle to poke and scrape off the excess dried out foundation from the opening

You can also use an eye curler take the top of it and put it in between the glass and the black cover apply some pressure and it should pop right off I just did that with the L’Oréal infallible foundation
I like putting my foundations into empty foundation compacts, which I get from Amazon. They're water to carry around, and because they're easier to open then you can make sure you can get every last drop! I'll also say, I like the puffs that come with them!

Tomorrow I’m going to try it with an essential oil bottle top remover and see if it will work that way, if not then I’ll certainly use a knife no problem :-) I’m one of these people who like to mix foundation darkening or lightning pigment directly into the bottle instead of putting it on my applicator or on my hand every time (Although that’s usually what the experts recommend, I’m much too lazy to mess with that in the morning!) And I’m so glad I can try darkening my super stay Maybelline 110 a little bit! .

I have a similar issue with my fenty concealer. The way the wand is set up you can only get product from the middle and use only a 3rd of the concealer.It's so annoying to me!
I contacted NYX to tell them about the problem with having all that product at the bottom and not being able to pump it out. They need a better design. It's ridiculous. I sent them my receipts from Amazon. I have 4 bottles that need to be popped open. I will get back to you with the results from Ricardo from NYX.
