    To be completely honest, I actually like that u show when things don't go to plan during an installation. This shows how flexible auto glass tech's need to be in order to perform a job. Good video man.

    Hey dude, so i done one of these before, and i watched your video coincidentally before doing the job. I used the bat. and just got my spatula you know, like a painters flat knife or painters spat whatever you wanna call it, found all 4 clips, break through the clip using a hammer and the spat, then the orange bat line would pass through the broken clips no probs. line didn't snap
    Toyota's.. Pretty known for having the most toughest clips known to man. Thats why i always use a spat to break through the clips. every other car... haha. Orange bat is great.

    When using the wire tool you can get around those nuts by pulling the fiber line through the hole in the pinch weld up over the screw and then keep going instead of cutting the studs off. That's what I do.

    Hi Alfredo and thank you for sharing your technics which are always helpful. I would like to share something if I could? On the bottom bolts what has worked for me is I get the fiber line close to it and then grab it with my pick tool and pass it around the bolt like when one is trying to save the clips for a reinstall and keep on cutting. I have noticed that I run less risk of my line breaking. Thank you again for sharing and thank your camera man for such a good job 👍

    Hey buddy hope you're well! WELLLLLL WHAT DO I SAY....... These are an absolute joy to do re/re's on EH??? ive had to do my fair share of them for multiple body shops, they are not as bad if they are broken but saving them is a nightmare

      @@AlfredosAutoGlassRepairCorona Thanks man ! Ya nightmare is a great word for it, but if you get em out and only the locator pins come off. You've done good in my books but like you said patience is key cuz you don't want to mangle the body of the vehicle be as minimally invasive as you can.

    Can you make a short video about how to cut the tip of the nozzle to apply the urethane, cuz I’ve been having a lot of issues with that ... too wide, too narrow, too short, too high

      HELLO!! Im a highly experianced autoglass tech veteran in the game, but im making a video on my channel this week on the best tips to cut sizes where to apply the whole nine so hopfully my video will help you. should be up tomorrow or tonight

    • @christianmiller6106
      @christianmiller6106 3 роки тому

      Depending on what urethane you use, (I use Sika Mach 60) I normally take the stock tip they give you and I widen it slightly but following the original line and just making it a hair larger and I use that for most vehicles unless it’s like a VW or something tight. You can also try doing a light score on the nozzle before you cut

      @@Supremepikachu idk if you found out yet. but typically it if it's been replaced before it won't have your cars manufacturers name on it, instead it will say pilkington, PGW, fuyao etc. if it has both names like Toyota Pilkington. It's OEM. Also if it has a part number for example FW4401 or DW1658 it's been pulled before.
