This is the most awesome piece of awesomeness I have seen in quite a while. The Spaceship level alone is perhaps one of my favorite autoscroller moments in any TAS now for just how hilarious and fast it is. The way you absolutely decimated the bosses on the final level, especially Golden Silver, was also absolutely hysterical while at the same time incredibly fast. Easily one of my top 10 favorite TASes ever now. You did an incredibly amazing job with this TAS, Samsara. Best wishes for what you do next! :)
Found out about this earlier today, haven't able to watch until after I finish typing this. Glad to see you got it finished, and thank you for mentioning me in the text. Never thought that'd happen. For the record, I do have an account but for reasons I haven't used it in about half a decade or so. That was honestly one of the best submission texts I've ever read, if not the best. Honestly like you see you write one for an RPG one of these days, like MMX Command Mission(mainly because I think you'd have a shit ton of fodder in both game mechanics and the game's various writing stupidities). I hope things get better for you. In my short time on the site and on here with a different name, you always seemed very nice when interacting with me. You don't deserve a shitty life. I'll make a separate comment after finishing the video. :)
yeah, it's pretty insane. i played it co-op a lot as a kid and didn't know about it until years later. on lower difficulties it actually does over twice as much damage as it does in the run (50 damage per frame as opposed to 20).
Man, I forgot how awesome you handled the first stage(Also forgotten the next two stages. My brain sucks). Just beat the ever living fuck out of everything in it. Amazing. Minecart stage was real nice too. When shit's that good, you can't really think of many adjectives and nouns and verbs to add to it that don't come across as ass kissing. The airship stage was amazing, and seeing the throw movement again was so, so nice. Wish I could kick the shit out of Orange like that. Legit envy, girl. Legit envy. Black Phantom has regenerating health? Never knew that. What a shitdick of a boss he/it are(Are the Phantoms even human?). You actually wrote "no" in that friggin' "fight" that's obviously a final fight bonus stage reference. Wow. Why'd ya do that? Also, probably a stupid question, but was it impossible to get a five on the dice roll that was just five away from the boss? Passing through and phasing through so many obstacles and enemies in the fifth level is amazing, as was writing LOL when you beat Smash again. Not much else to say here, really. It's just such a simple joy to watch. Took me a bit of slowing down(it's 2:27 AM where I am as of when I typed this. Don't blame yourself), but pls end is amazing. Just amazing. The vaguely transformer looking heads firing out of the core is not something I remember, but I've only played it on Normal and Easy... Guess I just have forgotten, or it's a legit difference. ...Was that a :3 in the Runner section? Treating this part as a separate stage; no idea if it is or not. The first part of the fight with Pink's lackeys was nice, especially the fucking up arrow you drew. That shit was funny. Can't figure out what you wrote in the last part of the pink fight, though... The fire makes it very hard. Seems like it was See Ya? Again, not your fault. Limited toolset and all. Having the fire chase after Orange as he exploded and bounced around the screen like Sonic on *insert drug of reader's choosing based off of what they think would be funniest here* was a very, very good choice. Splitting this up again to prevent the paragraph from being unwieldy. Black's fight was over so fast there's not much to say. Green's fight that you talk about how it was so boring? It's over in like 30 seconds or less. Writing Fuc No on Golden Silver's beginning was a nice touch. He's a crappy boss, IMO, and that's a nice little insult to him. Speaking of insults, so was the sheer destruction you laid upon his demonic, twisted visage. Seriously, fuck that boss and he deserves the asskicking you gave him. Damn, damn good playthrough. Definitely the best speedrun of this game I've seen. I have to wonder what a pure speedrun on Easy would look like... Bet it'd be very good if someone with your level of talent attacked it with the information and techniques you discovered.
