Yet another amazing allied unit that is beyond versatile and costs 800, while bulfrogs cost 900 :DDDDD i would love for some allies fix patch, in which their units arent as crazily costly efficient as they currently are. IFV for 800 does more overall than bulfrogs that cost 900, Riptide does more than tengu + yari, outclassing even Cycles , and costing the LEAST among the 3 anti-inf units, while also being giga versatile and having the carry passengers ability. In an ideal world, Ifv will be at least 900, Riptide must be 1000 with how versatile and tanky it is , Cycle should be 750. Overall Soviets always get the short end of balance, with TwinBlades , Hammers and TERRORDRONE being their only cost-efficient units(especially terror) , empire seems to have the best balance between unit strength and its cost, and Allies are just cheap for absolutely no reason, while being the only class to have counter to absolutely every single unit/strategy in the game
8:21 this is on par with RA2, where Flak-IFV couldn't target air, IIRC. 8:38 unfortunately, in RA2 it's impossible too :( Has to do with the fact that Tesla Coils are "over-powered" via a special, secondary weapon - but the IFV doesn't use Primary and Secondary, it uses different keys to set its weapons due to its shifting nature and can only use *one* specific weapon based on the infantry inside. It's really only an engine-limitation in RA2; would love to know why it doesn't work in RA3, tho - anyone know RA3's inner-workings who can share how "over-powering" Tesla Coils works, and why the Tesla IFV can't do the job? 9:04 if you want to be technical, it should be "Cow IFV" because the OP weapon in question is called "CowShot" :P 12:11 this is on par with RA2 - there, each Infantry is assigned a number that tells the game which weapon from the IFV's weapon-list is to be picked if that Infantry is loaded in first. I say loaded in first because, if the IFV were to have more than one Passenger slot via mod or custom map, only the first Infantry that enters the vehicle will affect the weapon until that infantry is ejected - which must be manually ordered *after* the other passengers have already been ejected. Based on what I can see in Mental Omega, a popular RA2-mod, it seems the game also accepts weapon-switches via Vehicles, so long as they too have a weapon-select-number, and the vehicle accepts Vehicles as passengers because it has enough slots *and* its SizeLimit is high enough for the Vehicle to fit. 12:20 again, just like RA2 - it is still the IFV itself doing the firing, the passenger just sets the weapon and is taken for a ride... 13:45 on par with anime/cartoon characters being completely immune to any and all damage during their transformation sequences. I'm very disappointed they didn't make time stop for everyone and everything else during the transformation too :P IMO, I think this is caused by a minor over-sight.
hahaha anime transformation sequence needs to be a feature of RA3! Every time Cryo shows up at your doorstep, time also needs to stop to have this music play ua-cam.com/video/p09hhXbsB9c/v-deo.html as Cryo recites the evil motto of the dark side

Whoever was in charge of making IFV weapons got lazzzy. It’d have been easy to modify those codes. But most likely, in a big corporation like EA, making the tiniest, most insignificant changes (or even fix) would require you to go through a process (the devs left comment in IFV weapons about doing “casey” if you want to change blah blah blah) and get approved first. Hence the team could have way less fun while making this game 😢 Easier to just leave most weapons as they were I’ve heard irl stories where someone complained that it’d take WAY less time for them to simply fix a bug than the amount of time they’d spend first filing a case for it.
