Thank you much, that's so helpful about bladder blockage, but also about the testing, treating, and financial breakdown.

You're wonderful. Thank you for posting this! I love learning what I can to be prepared.
BTW for the United States people Metlife insurance is pretty great. No annual limit and it covers wellness. Absolutely worth getting.
We had to look at insurance after two small intestine surgeries.

Poor sweet baby! I’ll be praying for Sparky’s recovery and for God to provide his family the resources to care for him. Thank you for taking such good care of him. Also thank you for making this video, I need to know what symptoms to look for. My young male cat got urinary crystals last summer, that was an expensive trip to the ER but thankfully he only needed meds and a rx diet. That has not been cheap but still so much better than expensive vet bills and him suffering.

What is it blocked by? You're not going to do blood work and scans and just give a diagnosis like that?! If this was human medicine you'd be fired!!! This is unethical and unprofessional.

Yowsa! You didn't pay attention at all. If this were human medicine, there'd be medical insurance. If it were human medicine, euthanasia because the caregiver can't afford $6,000 for all the testing plus the procedures would be considered "unethical and unprofessional" 😆along with criminal plus a murder sentence. Wake up, the vet explained - with limited funding from most pet owners, she's working with an extremely limited budget to solve the problem so blocked cats aren't euthanized. If you disagree, set up a fund for her clinic with your own money to pay for all the testing you wish to be done.

@@Bubbaluv8 You don't know the problem. You can't solve it. It's called a diagnosis; we all learn it. No diagnosis, the doc has no right to touch the patient. The "money" that you are worried about is going to be gigantically more coming from the doc's pocket for the lawsuit and they will lose their license. Unless they are simple diagnosis, like dehydration and saline IV as treatment, then it's okay, but even then, saline IV has contraindications. 40-50% of the people on the planet don't have "insurance". This doc isn't saying that she's ONLY doing it for people who can't afford it, she's using that as emotional bait even when the people can. If the patient is educated, they would screw her for even attempting a 'treatment' with no evidence. On top of all of that, there are 100s of vets and many are affordable. You don't seem to comprehend my comment and started straw-manning.
