I've honestly been considering re-reading Tokyo Ghoul. It was the second-ever manga/anime thing I did (read the series first) and I loved the storytelling. The struggles of Kaneki, how he found out who he really was. How he did a lot of it alone and became much stronger. Such a beautiful story that could have easily been called a "tragedy" at first... wink wink.
This OST is beautiful, suits Touken so well! No matter what I read, watch, Tokyo Ghoul will always be my most favorite, it had everything I needed. Hoping for a proper adaptation someday in the future. It hurts so much me that I can't talk proudly about my most favorite manga's adaptation... AoT was so close to being what Tokyo Ghoul was for me! The ending just ruined it. I have my bets on JJK now, it could become what Tokyo Ghoul was, also Ishida's new manga Choujin X!
I've always loved Tokyo Ghoul. I saw there were a lot of messages that Sui Ishida-san wanted to convey. It's a shame, the anime doesn't match. All perfect. Opening Song and Ending Song (this seems to have been improved a bit). I'll be waiting for Tokyo Ghoul to be picked up and fixed again in the anime. 😭😭
Holy shit. It's my first time listening to this after years. When I watched tokyo ghoul I was still a kid, but now I'm in highschool. No matter how many years has passed already, the chorus still remain magical to me. I'll never forget the goosebumps from that scene with this song.
The Tokyo Ghoul manga is truly peak fiction. I used to hold Attack on Titan in almost the same regard before that ending. Tokyo Ghoul is and will always remain the GOAT manga. (Alongside Berserk perhaps, I haven't read it but I hear it's amazing)
AoT is still peak even after the ending🤷🏻♂️ But yeah, TG is an absolute masterpiece and one of the greatest seinen manga of all time. If only that shitty anime adaptation didn't ruin its reputation😭

I don't even feel like rewatching/rereading the peak chapters and episodes. That last arc was quite disappointing for me and it sadly killed any desire to rewatch the series.

A lot of fan theories came true, such as Eren causing the death of his mother and Mikasa killing him(it was in one of the music videos). A lot of fans were right on the mark although they wished they were wrong. The writing quality dropped sognificantly during the Marley arc. The only things carrying the show were Reiner and Eren's character development. Everything else was thrown aside. It was still good but it wasn't the masterpiece from pre time skip. And the last 15 chapters felt like a trash american comic book. Tokyo Ghoul is a thousands times better. Nah nvm, they are not even on the same spectrum at this point.
@@WGandH god i hated aot's ending. isayama honestly fucked up the entire rumbling arc. so much shit that doesn't make sense, so many character assassinations(in terms of writing), power of friendship bullshit, etc. 3/4th of the story laid the foundation for a masterpiece, but it seems like isayama got overwhelmed. he has stated in an interview that he changed the ending due to how popular the show got, which just makes me sad. sad to see an author get scared of criticism.

I get to fascinated. Life changing moment for me and during my own research Tokyo ghoul was one of my first anime. What a beautiful story. Glad my cousin told me. I only remembered (pun not intended) 1:20 - 1:35 and I went on a man-hunt for an hour looking through different potential anime just to find the couple bars of music that were stuck in my head. Great song but after trying to find the song I lost interest and am just glad I know what the name is now.
I don't really care about what manga readers say..... I absolutely loved Season 1 and 2, and even some aspects of Re:, especially this song and the first scene I heard it :_(. Like, Season 1 has been one of my favourite animes and showcased many dark themes I've never seen represented much in my previous animes. And Root A, I cry.... Every Single Time...... And I don't wanna bash on the manda readers here, of course, that can be that they know what this story is capable of, but.... I feel like noone ever talks positively about this anime, mainly because it's not as good as the source material.... So, dear Manga Readers, please.... for the love of God..... @@WGandH god i hated aot's ending. isayama honestly fucked up the entire rumbling arc. so much shit that doesn't make sense, so many character assassinations(in terms of writing), power of friendship bullshit, etc. 3/4th of the story laid the foundation for a masterpiece, but it seems like isayama got overwhelmed. he has stated in an interview that he changed the ending due to how popular the show got, which just makes me sad. sad to see an author get scared of criticism.
Honestly this anime need a remake....it would be as popular as aot....is one of the most potential wasting anime

Tokyo ghoul rlly was done dirty I personally liked all season apart from 4 cuz it was way too fast for me however I wanna say that tokyo ghoul as a manga and story portrayed such beauty within sorrow and pain it was a masterpiece for sure and doesn't deserve any slander unless u have read the manga

I only read the manga so far to see how the story actually goes after the torture scene because I made the mistake of watching the anime first but I did enjoy all the seasons except season 2

We’ve seemed to love these cartoons and she tells me it’s called anime. I get to fascinated. Life changing moment for me and during my own research Tokyo ghoul was one of my first anime. What a beautiful story. Glad my cousin told me. I have no clue what I’d be without actually.

I only remembered (pun not intended) 1:20 - 1:35 and I went on a man-hunt for an hour looking through different potential anime just to find the couple bars of music that were stuck in my head. Great song but after trying to find the song I lost interest and am just glad I know what the name is now.

I don't really care about what manga readers say..... I absolutely loved Season 1 and 2, and even some aspects of Re:, especially this song and the first scene I heard it :_(. Like, Season 1 has been one of my favourite animes and showcased many dark themes I've never seen represented much in my previous animes. And Root A, I cry.... Every Single Time...... And I don't wanna bash on the manda readers here, of course, that can be that they know what this story is capable of, but.... I feel like noone ever talks positively about this anime, mainly because it's not as good as the source material.... So, dear Manga Readers, please.... for the love of God..... I love the series you know so much better than me..... please, let me enjoy it..... let me get invested in these characters...... and maybe.... maybe if you don't force me to read something I already want to..... then I'll read the manga.... deal??...... deal :I
