British Railways and Sirens siren F and G are still there, but both are disconnected. They can not remove the sirens because both siren F and G are on private land and unable to access to get to them to remove them
@@liverpoolfcforlife3321 This is some interesting news! When did you hear about this? I'm sure Siren G is accessed from a public road. Is it no longer accessible?
Reminds me of the time my dad worked at HMP Rampton (another max security mental hospital) in their maintenance team. They were/are very strict on material and personnel accountability - every piece of equipment is logged and signed in/out. Damaged equipment? OK, you’re picking the remnants up by hand. Missing screwdriver tip? Well, you’re going back into the paranoid schizophrenic murderer’s cell to get it back. They went down on you hard. A few of his experiences: The first one (ironically on his first day there) was when he was doing maintenance on the pipes carrying condensation from the AC units (if you didn’t know, AC units create a LOT of condensation). He forgot to get a tiny clip - you know, the ones that go around flexible pipes at the ends of them and tighten up with an Allen key? Yeah, those. So he had to go back to reception, log out each and every bit of the toolbox he brought in that day, go to his van, get the flexi-hose clips, sign in, log all his equipment back in, and then get back to the area where it failed. He was a bit miffed by the end of it, apparently! Another one that he told me was when another engineer had done some work repairing a side panel. The engineer finished, but broke a drill bit in the process and just discarded it in a bin and didn’t log it, apparently. The engineer went home and was past security at Leeds-Bradford Airport, ready to go on a holiday to Aussie, but the staff at Rampton noticed the discrepancy in the log books and recalled him to the prison. So he didn’t get a holiday because he was careless to leave a drill bit in a bin that was freely accessible to patients/prisoners! Like I said, they were strict on material accountability. Because if a missing tool or remnants of a damaged tool were picked up by a prisoner, someone could get seriously injured or the prisoner might try to off himself or others. So they went down on the engineer like a thousand cinder blocks on a truck barreling towards you at 150mph. Drill bits matter! (Or at least they do when you’re in a mental hospital/prison)
its possible they just switched streight to all clear unless maybe someone did it accidentally/forgot to cancel hi lo.. quite possible especially since all the other CS8s are inactive (or meant to be) so i dont think there was any fault at all really
