@@factorylad5071 saw him in cape cod with eric burden also, maybe 1991. have all of his solo records, some I had to hunt high and low for in the pre-Internet days. some literally took years. Robby Krieger & Freinds was a major disappointment to me, sound like Sanford and Son, the jazzy Robby Kieger CD was not great either but listenable. But Versions and No Habla were really great, as was his version of "Kansas City" with the Butts Band. Tremendous slide playing. and for what it's worth, I'm not worried about CO2 emissions . too many other things more imporatnt. anyway, thanks for the reply and for the Krieger posts!
I can't believe that this is finally downloaded and I thank you so much for doing it as well.I had this album when it first came out in the 80s,his debut solo I may be wrong but man it brings back a lot of good memories.✌️
Scott I downloaded because iI read a comment similar to yours about a year ago . I could still get the album on line, which I wanted , i had it a long time ago . I know the down load isn't great but it's better than nothing. By the way ROBBY KRIEGER versions - 2 , does exist but not many folk seem to be getting to it !
Hey, your welcome.I will keep an eye out for both of them. The last album I heard from Robbie was "No Habla" funny enough on the No Speak record label back in 1989.Thanks again for posting it.👍
VERSION 2???!!! HOW CAN I GET IT? GOR THIS ONE IN 1982, A+, SAW HIM LIVE ON THAT TOUR ALSO. I THINK NO HABLA WAS EVEN BETTER BUT THIS IS A GREAT GUITAR ALBUM. HOW CAN I GET VERSIONS 2? NEVER HEARD OF IT
JK Morrison sorry for all your trouble mate I was young once. In the day , we used have such things as record albums which were in cardboard 'sleeves' known as 'album covers" by taking out the record , you would notice by looking at the disk label that it had two sides sometimes marked A an B or maybe side1 and side2 so at the end of the day there was only one album herein after known as Versions but I have split it into the two sides for convenience sake. Thus through the app I can play like the old vinyl in two 20 minute sessions.I don't know if this will work for you, I can't tell if you will get ad-blocked or stuff like that but you could try looking at uploads in my channel, BUESBIRD where it is said to exist.
JK Morrison, NO HABLA don't know what your on about , never heard of it . Am pretty sure you will never get Versions 2 unless you try Versions - 2 , hope that helps.
I'm pretty sure I might still have a cassette of this just sitting in a box somewhere. Wow, the space invaders and galaga sounds rang some bells. Absolute treasure.
@@dustoff85 Dude! thanks for your comment,. It totally reminded me to come back and listen to Robby's beautiful takes on some great songs. Influential , Robby Krieger. A true artist and inspiration.
Underrrated album great to hear again
Você é guitarrista de topo.ma..rá.. vi..lho..so
Bought this when it came out and saw him in Providence in 1982. he was great, as is the album. No Habla even better!
That's a long while. When CO2 emissions weren't enough to worry about.I had the record when it came out also

That version of “The Crystal Ship” sound awesome!
Got love in it.

Thanks for you interest James.
Space Invaders?
nice but it's a bit muffled
Agree. The pressing quality on this one is not the best I have seen. May be some one will post something better.
I really like the Crystal Ship instrumental
I think Ray Manzarek (Doors) features on that track.
@@factorylad5071 Yes he was and John Densmore
Beauty, thank you.
Engineer was Mark Avnet, I think the glory resides there.
I've been looking for this for years on YT. Thanks for sharing.
