I don't think video games could handle another merger. It'd die. It'd die a very painful death. Microsoft buying Nintendo would be a nightmare, Nintendo's games would become soulless husks of their former selves, the last developer of fun, creative, unique, groundbreaking games would be under the control of Microsoft's soul-sucking finger. Microsoft would also be one step closer to a complete monopoly in the video game industry. That thought scares me. I don't want a future where Microsoft is the only choice in entertainment, and all the strings that come attached with that.
