I see you've already got the answer, but just in case someone else reads this: the side that you want to tighten is the side the belt is already too close to. It's counter-intuitive, but think of it like this: by tightening the too-close side, you're pulling the bar closer on that side creating a slope for the belt to "fall down towards" the other side.

This is really informative! I tried doing this but both bolts are already so tight they are not budging. But it’s still shifting to the left 😢
@@aksaa220 can you try loosening the other side then? It's preferred to tighten the close side, but if it's too tight try loosening the gap side
