I cry too whenever I hear this song. I played it a lot when my Mum died way too early in 1998.
I had a stroke 3 years ago. I used all the Bee Gee songs to help me find myself and return my mind to who I was. Thank you Bee Gee's for such great songs that reminded me of who I was.

Barry Gibb is the only one of the Bee Gees who is still alive. I went to his website last year and found out that he never wants to tour again.

Great music. Also, I hope Barry one day reads this message. Our granddaughter was diagnosed with Autism. The first break-through we had with her was the 'One Night Only' video. She related to Barry and had never seen them before. She sat on Popa's lap and watched the entire video. She would go up to the Screen and kiss him. Thank God for music. You never know who it may touch.

I love a wide variety of music, but I was shocked by what I discovered when I took a deep dive into the Bee Gees song catalog. First, as a rule, I don’t like album versions of live performances. I’m spoiled by the polished studio sound, and live tracks tend to bring out the flaws both vocally and musically. Plus, it’s not like being there. But the Bee Gees are different. Not only is their harmony true perfection, but the quality of their vocals barely changed even over a span of 30+ years! Imagine for a moment a group singing a song recorded in the 60s sounding every bit as good being performed live in the 90s! That’s what you got with the Bee Gees. I can think of no other artist or group capable of achieving that feat. None. I wish I could have seen them in concert. The documentary was excellent.
Very well said. I'm 29 and growing up I only knew a few of their songs from this One Night Only concert (I started a Joke, Massachussets, Words, How Deep Is your Love, To love Somebody and Too Much Heaven) which I saw back when I was in gradeschool. But yeah, diving into their discography a few weeks ago, I realized it's like I only saw the tip of the iceberg. You're right, I can't believe how they sound the same after so many years. And if the studio versions are good, the live versions are so much better..

I do believe The Bee Gees and Andy were put here to sing this beautiful music for the ones who love there style of singing and I'm sad for Robin , Maurice and Andy who had to leave us so soon they certainly had a wonderful talent to share with all the ones that love them just amazing for words .

Back in the day when the BeeGees were the biggest thing in music, I was young and into progressive rock and didn’t 😢appreciate the music they made, but today as an older person this music is magical and amazing. I so wish I could have seen them perform the beautifully played and sung music.

I think they were considered a duo. Not a group. That would be something like CSN&Y. No way as good as Simon&Garfunkel or Everly Brothers nor Hall and Oats. The group America also relied on two vocalists with two part harmony.

Felix Rodriguez Hard to say! He and Robin have such unique sounds when singing. It's from the heart. My husband's favorite is Robin. He's 13 yrs older than me, so I grew up more with Barry and the "Disco" Era and I loved it! Grew up with the late 70s and 80s music. Graduated high school in 1984. So, I am an 80s girl! I guess u can't call me a girl at 50, I should say woman! However, I guess this brings back my youth....didn't mention when I saw that video of STAYIN ALIVE! December 4, 2022 Sunday. Through the years, Bee Gees, thank you for the wonderful, sweet music.
My older aunty favourite song, also Bee Gees has been always her one of her favourite band beside Phil Collins, Genesis, Michael Jackson, Earth, Wind And Fire and many more. I will always remember when my aunty and i always go out somewhere, also back when i was a kid and in every weekend always come and play to her house, and she’d always played Bee Gees CD, their best/Greatest Hits Record. Me and my other cousins always called her “Mommy”, because she’s always act like our parents, always taking care of us and care a lot for us.
But right now she’s already gone and living with almighty God, rest in peace Mommy, thank you for always taking care of me, i will always praying for your everyday 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I was a radio DJ in the 70s, during the disco craze. We were a freeform rock station, so banned disco. We DID play the great early BeeGees pre-disco stuff, which I still live. But, in hindsight, their disco stuff was masterful and a really interesting career shift that deserves respect.
