Im loving your reviews so far. You should do some more, just buy mouses and keyboards, make reviews on them and return them. You're creating very informative and nice to watch videos. btw - picture on thumbnail's showing 2 keyboards v1 and v2. But v2 on this picture looks like it has different(same color as middle part) key caps color on tab, shift, ctrl (etc) on the left. Is it a thing or just some light illusion ? I know weird question.
It almost feels like a shame to call it V2 as it’s such a different feel to sit and type with. I haven’t got the PBT yet but it may feature in the future! Have you done the same?
I got the k2 v2 today as a xmas gift, and I have to say the pros and cons: Pro: it is built very good and I am happy with it Con: I used for 10 years the apple keyboards and now I am constantly making typos. It's aweful. but also because I dont use the proper 10 finger system. the size of the keys are slightly different to the Apple keyboard. The space bar is way longer. The CMD key is shorter and so on.
You’ll adjust. I’m switching between the K3 and a Magic Keyboard (full size) on a daily basis and the extra actuation force needed for the K3 is significant…but I promise it gets easier!
When you have the likes of the Logitech MX Mechanical claiming 10 months of battery life without the key lights on (and 15 days with them on) - this HAS to be addressed in V3. Granted the Logitech is almost twice the price....but we'll see.
I have this model for around two weeks now with bananas, mint and red switches all at the same time (reds for mayus and control keys so pinkies don't get as tired when pushing them and mints on those I wanted to be a bit harder to reduce accidental double pulsation like in caps lock) and it's been worth it it's money for my first expensive keyboard (more than 20€) but I find troublesome the Bluetooth sudden reconstructions it does while tiping... Has you found a solution?
Regarding the K3 V2, do you have the Low Profile Gateron Mechanical switch type or the Low Profile Keychron Optical Switch type? I am a total noob regarding mechanical keyboards so would love to know which is better. Also what color siwtch do you have (red, blue, brown)

Oh no, that sucks. I do think the design makes it really easy for the switches to get dirty. Have you tried taking it to bits and given it a good clean out?
There are two versions of the K3 currently available. One is the V2 (the second version of the original K3), the other is the K3 Pro- a new keyboard with PBT caps, different colour profile and customisation options through the VIA software.
And there's a special edition too with white keycaps, rgb or white light and the one without backlit. Nobody on youtube is reviewing the white versions yet.
Hmm. That doesn’t seem right. Have you tried removing the key caps and checking for any debris in there? Might need a bit of extra lubing. Or returning for a replacement…!
it doesn't work when u listen to music from a bluetooth speaker. it wont connect, it takes a lot to connect even when u dont use a speaker. and the battery lasts 2 days. why are unot saying these things lol. :))))))

@@alexandrumacedon291 Is this V1 or V2? Either way sounds like there’s something not right here. I tested my V2 while attached to iPad and my MacBook with a Bluetooth speaker connected and it worked fine.
@@ThatMarkGilroy v2 . yeah, and when i switch from bluetooth to cable it even stops the music. it has to reconnect. i dont know but they messed the bluetooth up with this keyboard. a pity

Yes it is still holding up well, although reds are probably better balanced if you don’t like your keyboards too ‘mushy’.

Honestly, if it holds the battery for even 2/3rd that time, it'd be worth the price. (As long as its battery rechargeab.)
It does, and it is 😉. Downside it that it’s not as traditionally mechanical feeling as something like a Nuphy. I’ll explain in my next video.

Yes it can be wired (avoids the Bluetooth issues). I’d also recommend looking at the new Pro version

@rycorner I REALLY like the look of the white edition. No ISO layout for UK though which is a shame.
just bought this K3 v2 low profile keyboard , some of the keys squeaky sounds even after one week use. Not sure do you face the same problem?

how does your V2 have a double enter button?
Just checked and I can see the standard V2 doesn’t have this. I have the UK ISO edition.

I’m going to test either the Nuphy Air75 or MX Mechanical next which both operate with a Bluetooth dongle to see if it makes a difference.
