I didn’t even get through the whole video. I want to state this. The iPad is like the coworker for the iPhone. You should have both actually. The iPad is wonderful for iCloud and other computing and for the moment tablet stuff and the iPhone is great for a lot of computing and phone usage. I have to say that the Mac though is very important and why you might ask? Well, the Mac is the boss of the iPad and iPhones. The Mac is there to run everything. You are able to use the computer to run all your daily equipment. The iPad you can’t do that. But if you have the computer it is going to oversee everything. You can update your iPad and phone with the Mac and back all your info to the Mac. So really some people think that the Mac is the coworker for the iPhone three are actually coworkers but that is not true. The iPhone and iPad are coworkers but the computer is the superior and the boss of them. The computer is the one that tells them what do to. The Mac is their one that tells the iPad and iPhones what to do. The Mac runs the show actually. But if you are going out to a meeting or to a coffee shop the iPad is great even your iPhone but the Mac is very important.

Just take down the notes ! What the actual hell is this app that app. Apple Notes is the everything you need. These apps with supposedly 'extra' features are just there to distract you with gimmicks rather than actually improving the overall productivity.

it would be more accurate to do you want a laptop or an tablet. the ipad isnt going to replace a macbook in any world . the macbooks other than not being able to use all ipad apps can do everything an ipad can better . most people need a laptop and a phone getting a tablet is for pleasure and never necessary for anything

I don’t mind apples case. It doesn’t take up much space on a side table. You can hold one of the cups when you take them out and gravity should stop them from banging in each other. Has anyone really had their scratch from banging into each other, and are those scratches less ugly than any of the covers? I have the cable on order because I totally want to use this with the PS5. Headband cover scenes are right if the mesh does get loose, that’s presuming that this cover will provide a little more support. I wouldn’t use a stand for my AirPod max because I want to put them inside the case to have them turn off and not be connected to my things or draining the power. I don’t mind that mine is lightning because I still have iPhone 13 Pro that is also lightning.. I like that my iPad 2024 came with a mesh cable because then I can tell the two cables without having a look at the connecter. I really wouldn’t want to cover up these headphones. Also seen as people seem to really hate the case that Apple supplies, I wouldn’t recommend calling it a bra, because that comes off as misogynistic. Everyone’s doing it though so I guess I’m just being a Karen about it.

I think it is because it can be a laptop at this point. But they chose not to make it as a laptop. I love Surface Pro becasue it has both. I think Apple also knows and prob ready to ship it when iPad loses its market share. Nobody has asked iPad to be MacOS before when it was out. But time has changed. Speically Galaxy is supporting Dex version like that. If it did not have like M4 chips, people won't except anything like that. I really think Apple should drop the Macbook & Macbook Air because there are not much different among Macbook, Air, and Pros. They should replace Macbook and Macbook Air with iPad.

I don’t know man. I always used my iPad for everything. I ended up getting a Magic Keyboard and it has become more than my everything… I usually lay down on the couch and the 11” size is the best thing ever for writing my papers on pages. I just got a macbook yesterday for an upgrade and even tho i chose the smallest one, its still feel too big and also the material is too slippery to have on you. It slides down on the duvet and anything i put it on. The edges are also hurting my wrists. Im really conflicted cause i actually appreciate the extras that come with the macbook, especially in pages.

One thing to note about the iPad mini. If using the touchscreen keyboard. It’s the easiest to use without massive hand stretches in both landscape and horizontal

Very detailed analysis. For me the bulk of my work is writing and document management. A few years ago I made the jump from macOS to iOS. iOS was mature enough to address my needs. In time I sold off my Mac hardware. I didn’t want duplicate gear on my desk and on the road. Now I use an iPad Pro M2. I have a Samsung monitor at home and some cables. Now my hardware is firmly iPhone and iPad. I even changed my email address from .macOS to iOS. About price. Whew both platforms are expensive with little difference in price.

I've got 8 Apple Babies....I can honestly tell you that mentally there is a HUGE difference between me opening up a laptop versus an iPad. Most of the time the iPad is a leisurely feeling and the laptop puts me in business / work mode. (for the record I am about to sell 3 old apple products b/c I certainly need to sell off anything old before its just too old) However, when I am on the go around town doing UBER and I have to take a break the moment it feels a little slow (I can't always drive across town to go home for a break)........and all I have is my iPad Mini - I WILL find a way to get some work done on the iPad. Now, another point - there's a reason I have an iPad Mini 6 + Macbook Pro + iMac at home. - they all provide different sized versions of my different needs. *iMac at home I need to use to really design stuff as I am a Graphic Designers. *Macbook Pro - is so I can really work from anywhere in my home or outside of the home if I'm doing real work. This is better for when I am writing (blogging, working on my book) *The iPad Mini 6 - I carry with me, along with my iPhone but right now my transition is to make the iPad the "workhorse" so I can stay off my phone more. So when I only have my iPad and iPhone I want my iPad as my temporary laptop therefore If I am suddenly in work mode I've at least brought along my iPad. I just can't carry the Macbook Pro everytime I go to run errands as I may or may not even need it. Many times I've carried it daily yet and some days I never get to touch it, so i'm just carrying extra heavy stuff. Moving forward, I think what will help me if i'm suddenly in WORK MODE - is to just have one of those foldable, Bluetooth keyboards I can connect to my iPhone or iPad. Found myself in many moments where I didn't plan on working or bringing my laptop b/c it's heavy....yet I was in the MOOD to draft up a design or blog post, hence me wanting the foldable keyboard I just keep in my purse at all times.

Always buy a MacBook. The great thing about the IPad is you can use it alongside the MacBook as an extra monitor. So let’s stop comparing the two they work great together

I’m not wrong thinking that the iPad was always a computer that focuses on a touch based user experience and the MacBook being a traditional computing experience. They both do similar tasks exceptionally well but in different ways. What do you prefer is what it comes down to most of the time.
