A question for Mr. Webb: You often complained about the stifling and suppressing culture of evangelicalism, when you were more on the inside. "Don't ask questions, and don't express your doubts," and so on. But you don't seem at all interested in entertaining (let alone probing) the obviously reasonably questions people have about the anti-traditional-gender-norms movement that has erupted in our time.
Have you perhaps taken on some of the very traits that irritated you so much about the big bad fundies?

I prayed to God that it’s time for the world to see that God loves us too and that he died for everyone even all the LGBTQ+ community. We have acceptance from God under any name. God says “come as you are” and that’s exactly what you’re doing. For the longest I thought God loves straight people more than me, and that straight people think God loves them more than he loves me which is not true. This verse helped me accept myself “For sin shall no longer be your master because you are not under the law but under grace” -Romans 6:14
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?”

I’m confused about the connection between drag and transgenderism. Isn’t drag not a matter of identity? It’s an artistic expression, career path, etc. No? The cause being fought for seem a bit obscured.
The way I saw it was that drag was the only authentic way for this artist to have a lived genderqueer experience. So embodying that (in a church) is "standing with" the LGBTQ community writ large. I don't see it as obscuring, but maybe I have a blind spot or something.
Good question for the haters. It's the haters who I first saw conflating the two groups. I appreciate the solidarity between the two groups & those who represent each group.

@utubepunk He is not just "my god" He is The One True God. Just because you do something and then call it art doesn't make it right. You could murder somebody in an "artistic way" and use their blood to paint a picture, and you could call it art. So obviously, the labeling of evil as art does not justify it. God made us men and women. It says this very clearly in Genesis. To try to blur those lines is to rebel against the natural order that the Creator God made. As far as a "plank in my own eye", you need to read that verse in its full context instead of trying to weaponize that verse against me as a way to shut me down. It is not a speck of sawdust in my brother's eye that I am trying to shine a light on. It is a tidal wave of evil deception that is degrading the very foundation of human relationships by confusing the very simple and true reality that men are men and women are women. They are both made in the image of God, but they are distinct from one another biologically and spiritually because they have different roles. For instance, women and only women can give birth.
