Really great idea to throw the same disc at different distances to relate to a broader audience. Surprised I haven't seen this format before. Good job.
Great quality video with good production, sound and content. I like how you can see the flight of the disc. So many videos have great potential but fall short when you can't see the disc flight. Keep up the great work I know it's time consuming!
Thank you for indicating the wind speed and direction. Would also be helpful to know the weight, and wear of each disc. Follow flights of similar discs would be sick. Great work, very professional. 🔥
@@johnshepherd6925 "Best" is a tricky word. Not sure what you like to throw, what your needs are, or what kind of courses you play on. I think a great starting point is a Midrange or a Fairway Driver and then you can explore from there. Honestly a HEX will get you very far. Glidey, stable, versatile. For Fairway, take a look at an MVP Volt. That's a strong dependable flight. Good luck!
Brilliant review! Very helpful to see it at different speeds but I struggled to understand which Movements were mainly caused by the Wind and which where caused by the properties of the disc.
They also just released the Hex in fission plastic within the last few weeks and all of the MVP space race glow round tournaments have the hex in Eclipse 2.0 plastic for the players packs, so I’m assuming that the hex will be out in stores in Eclipse plastic 2.0 starting Spring 2023.
I think the hex is much more comfortable than a buzzz. The hex has a higher and more rounded shoulder that conforms to your hand more naturally. That being said I still throw my buzzz over the hex
It's a great hyzer-flip disc. New it will hyzer flip to flat and ride straight with small fade. Broken in, it will hyzer - flip - turn over slightly to get some drift to the right (RHBH).
Brand New for lower arm speed players it’s hard to hyper flip but beat in, it’s a great hyper flip disc. I can throw my hex around 250-275 RHBH and flat releases for me now just turn and burn because it’s so beat in. So I just use it for hyper flips now or turnover shots… mine is 178 grams too. Heavy guy.
We need the best talent and we need at least three guys but drafting guys that late is going to mean you have one starter and and two guys you hope might be able to play this year, Do you remember 4 years ago we took 3 guys in the 4th,5th and 6th rounds. Do you remember they all sucked for three years and now all three are gone so if you wait untill the fourth round to pick guys you are planning not to have them make an impact right now which means you will need to pick up a couple of free agents just to fill the room with guys that will be ready to play this year. imo
And Oline does not need to be anywhere near our first 5 picks oline can be found later in the draft. We need Targets for this year and olave might not be the answer The pack like bigger guys at WO Olave is skinny. lol If you take olave that means they are going to take a bigger wo at 28 imo but a trade is coming so all this means nothing lol
Hah basically! If you know how to hzyer flip it actually can be a useful tool in the wind. If you can allow the wind to help flip the disc up to flat and ride straight.

Hey Eric Sprouse, thanks so much for the kind words. Definitely want to bring high quality content to the community. More to come!
Fantastic production! Love the video being divided into Chapters. Enjoyed watching and listening to the review!
Thanks! I’ll probably do similar chapters moving forward.
The swirl on the darker/brown one is absolutely sick looking! Lucky find!
Thanks man! Yeah I was pumped on that. Looks rad in person.
First thing I thought as the video opened that disc looks great ...
@@jaimeperry7326 Haha right on.
The different distance/power/flight line combos really helped understand the disc. Love the format and the content. Keep it up!
Excellent. One of the most comprehensive disc reviews I've seen
Thank you for the encouragement!
Great filming! The zoom was very clear. Also I dig your font choice
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
This is the best camera work by anyone I have watched review discs!!! Keep up the good work!
@@aaronjohnston1395 Wow thank you for the kind words! One of my goals for the channel is keep the quality high. Glad you’re enjoying it.
Excellent video! Really high quality!
Thank you!

Thank you very much. Glad you are enjoying the content. I will take your notes into consideration for future videos!
Great review! Your comparison is spot on as I have thrown both the Mako3 and the Buzzz for years and the Hex feels instantly familiar!
Nice thanks KJ! It’s a great mold in their lineup.
@@discgolfjedi would you say it's their best mold? I'm looking to pick up my first Axiom disc. Wondering which is their best. Any thoughts?

@@discgolfjedi I shouldn't have said best. I guess I meant most popular 🤣

I have all 3. My Buzzz is well beaten in. My Mako3 and Hex are still good condition
1) new golf standard in DGJ videos
2) what’s the grip like compared to the Buzzz?
Grip pretty comparable honestly! This particular first flight run of Hexes are slightly flatter. Hard to tell the difference honestly.

Good input. Thanks man!
Dude, you're harshin' my Buzzz. Don't be such a Buzzz kill
Great video, thanks!
Thank you!
Is it a good Hyzer flip disc? Forehand?

I love live my hex... sometimes when I think it's to windy, it is because I am wrong
Perfect mako replacement. Though the hex will replace my Gobi
Just bought myself a hex to do just that. Damn those Gobis are hard to come by.
@@Babl069 and only orange first runs fly stable enough
I'm honestly surprised the Buzzz is still as popular as it is.
No reason a straight flying midrange shouldn't have 5 glide, minimum.

So what you're saying is don't throw in a headwind
Hah basically! If you know how to hzyer flip it actually can be a useful tool in the wind. If you can allow the wind to help flip the disc up to flat and ride straight.
Profile is somewhat skark3ish. I’ve been wanting to throw one of these.
Go for it. Solid mold. More so the plastic is terrific.
Background music way too loud
No. That was easy :D.
Too flippy to replace either. Anubis is the better option
