Great video and very informative.
you must be a comedian 😆
You might be able to get away with not grinding it down if you put the top on first and then jack up the knuckle, kind of using the vehicle as a press. That’s how I do ball joints on my Impreza, keep a close eye on the slot though, getting off center would suck.
Ya good point. Didn’t think of that 👌🏻
Damn I wish we could stop calling them shocks or shock absorbers🤣 The springs are the shock absorbing component and what gets referred to as shocks are just dampeners. Yes, my OCD kicking in. No idea how the whole world got this wrong😂 I love cheap parts and then the inevitable work around. Well done
My favorite is, "I need to get my wheels rotated" lol
Are they actually still available in Japan?
according to roberts part list, the version i posted, yes. if yours doesn't fall under those categories of KS or KV, looks like discontinued. 500yenshop baby! selling used ones all the time. no leaky no problem!
Do you think I could put them in my Lathe and skim them clean?
good question. it would make for a more uniform clean up other just just winging around a grinder lol. i have one more set!
@@OhKeiGarage Well you know what ya gotta do.
