The most important part to creating good latte art is learning how to get the perfect steamed milk texture. Once the texture of the milk is right, the latte art almost pours itself. People tend to focus on the actual art making, but learning how to steam the milk properly is the real trick. There’s a learning curve for sure, and each machine is different
@@duckdoan7977 I’m certainly no expert but when I get the texture just right, there are no visible bubbles at all and the milk has a glossy sheen and noticeably thicker texture. They say it’s supposed to look like white paint if u get it right, and that’s a perfect description imo
@@jacob9540barista here, this is spot on! This is what my senior barista taught me, a good milk for latte is like paint not too bubbly, that's for cappuccino not too flat for flat whites but just right in the middle for a latte.
I want to cry cause my milk doesnt do that! It just pours in and never surfaces to the top and writes like a marker. Maybe the tail end foam does but not enough to design with.
@@phyxion123 do you use pressurized porta filter? if so then ur coffee crema is to foamy to begin with..use non pressurized portafilter..even if it doesnt produce crema you can still do latte art if your milk is steamed properly..latte art is all about milk
Not only is that the prettiest Rosetta I’ve seen in a hot second but the overlay 🤌🏻 hands down the most effective / comprehensive demonstration while still being easily understood. 11/10 you slayed this tyvm for the effort and dedication 🙏🏼
What a great video. I've been stuck at dia-masters for a long time, might need to reconstruct myself yet again. Thank you for motivation and some inspiration.
One important thing is your espresso bean shouldn't be too old. Always keep it sealed inside a bag. Also in guessing it depends on grind size, pressure in the group and brewing temperature and most importantly how much co2 the bean contained to begin with. Also minerals in the water could be a factor...
mine just goes straight down, never flows and when it flows on top then it creats a big circle. it doesnt go zic zac like it should even when im moving my hand
What is this coffee? its nice dark brown. Usually my coffee soup is more like light brown. This is very nice and creates nice contast between dark coffee soup and white milk texture. Thanks in advance!

the milk should be hot and creamy(bubbly) enough so that it floats on top of the crema surface. correct me if i'm wrong though

So I tried it and I did pretty good at first until I forgot the fact that too much liquid in a cup makes it overflow 😭😭
Many thanks!
