To avoid any Further Confusion......... No where in the title nor the Video do I state that this is the "Best Melee" Build.... It is an insane Melee build that will allow you to Solo or Co-Op anything in the current Content Including the Dragon Fight with out relying on a ranger or caster build. There are points within the Video I state that somethings can be moved around for Solo Play Vs Co-op I do both play styles. The abilitys of the Build are show towards the end of the Video marked with Chapters.
Blood rage works on ANY melee kill. That’s a huge increase you are missing. Also, unless it’s changed since January that ranger node with crit chance is only affecting ranged crit. It is NOT stacking with the melee life recovery perk. I’d recommend double checking that 5 point end node con perk. It looks like you are missing a lot of others. Even at 7 flame that’s a 3 gain for 5 cost. I think you can get more for less if I recall the tree correctly from what you are missing.
This is easily not the best melee build, skill point allocations wise. There are some great skills that you've been missing out, such as Blood Rage and Barbarian. And there are some skills that wouldn't contribute that much even after 100 years, such as Water Aura and Waters of Life (due to low Intelligence), Nemesis and Arch Nemesis (useless in solo, useless in coop due to bug). I also don't see a point in taking Merciless Strike without Opportunity. You also missed out BIG TIME by not taking Dessert Stomach and Rebound. Unfortunately it's impossible for me to share a link to my build as UA-cam will automatically delete any comments with external link.
Clarifying question: why the double bow? I understand why that particular bow (those stats are nice), but why run two, when you don't even need them in your hotbar (just mark it as your ranged weapon). Does having it on your hotbar grant their stat bonuses to your hits, or just to ensure you don't run out of ranged durability?
I run two melee and two bows due to the amount of Durability loss that is taken on weapons. I found that pre Update 4 in the old hallow halls My weps broke far to often. So I double stacked the Bows as a precaution Turned out that I did not need them but better safe than sorry. :)
If you only have it on the quick slot you’ll always auto lock on the target. You won’t ever do weak spots, which even without the headshot perk will do more damage. So, imo it’s always best to manually aim bow (unless you are terrible at aiming.) Also you can hold it at full draw, if I recall the quick slot immediately fires.
I had them both at one point and did not notice a difference. Granted opprotunity will only proc if you use merciless attack. oppsed to breach that is a set 100% for 3 secs. So if you miss Merciless the you still get the dmg Bump.
i dont understand this video it all. at this point might as well unlock every single skill tree nodes?......smh.... of course you can solo anything when you damn near have 99.9% of skill tree nodes unlocked.........what a let down
Sigh. So, I apologize in advance, your channel is small. I appreciate the contribution to the community. Frankly, this build is just some of the key nodes with no real max. Battle heal is the life blood of every build, most of the time its that or orbs with the metabolism. But you need to test what you're telling people to do... if you did you would know that all the nodes that say "You receive X Stat per 2 levels of flame" are bugged and give you 1 Stat point for 5 skill points, period. It's trash, its been this way since release . Earth water auras are nice , better suited for a wand build with melee for mana generation with the mana heal on ceit and battle heal. This Build is just really not the best at one thing but more of a jack of all trades. Utility for a group is good 👍 Ultimately this is a game played for fun, But there's a looooooot better ways to optimize a build with that many points 😂
This post has more space in it then the head of the one who posted it. What you posted was an opinion, as is the video itself. But no one asked you for yours... nor searched for your information. The dude has cleared the map, but how would you know what he did prior? I think he's probably tested it enough, more then required to not have some clown come in with a cartoon sigh, apologize like it forgives them for being a jackass, then be "that guy". It's dirt cheap to respec, and if people don't like the build, they can chose so themselves, or even change a few of the nodes for personal feel. His contribution was appreciated. Your's however, I can say personally isn't needed, and holds zero weight to me.
Even if it is "Bugged" once it is patched it will make the Build stronger Having read about people struggling and Playing melee my whole play through. I chose to find a Build that allows Melee users to have fun smashing things in the face. There are more Video's about OP Mage's and Ranger's out there but nothing that allowed Melee to Solo fight the Dragon boss. So yes you can "optimize" your build better ways Just not for a Melee build.
@@jordank5551 Just checked this myself, the 5 cost "int per 2 flame levels" gave me 2 int instead of 3 (I'm at flame lev 6). So yer right, it's not fixed yet. I stand corrected. I had this from another youtubers patch recap.

@@jinkxy2370 Probably means the node for extra damage when double jumping.
It includes the first Jump attack I left out the Double jump node as you tend to get hit and it stops the attack.
