Stanserhorn is a mountain peak near Lucerne in Switzerland and is surely gonna give you an experience that you will cherish for life long. It is the perfect mountain for enjoyment, relaxation and hiking.
Journey to the top is in two steps:
🚋 In 1st step you take the funicular with open coaches to Kälti , This funicular was started in 1893 and sill retain its old wooden style charm.
🚠 In the second step you switch to CabriO cableway, It is world's first double deck open top cable car, this makes Stanserhorn unique among other places in Switzerland.

Stanserhorn is also a beautiful place to explore in Switzerland tour...and really through your videos we saw different different types of cable cars and in this video we saw an amazing double decker open air cable car..I want to ride on this cable car once in my life, I wish one day I will go to my Switzerland trip and your videos will be helpful to plan my Switzerland tour in a perfect way

Nice video , I have a question , if you have a STP or SDP , do you need to go inside the ticket office and get a ticket free of cost or you can go straight to Funicular entrance and board the Funicular train showing your STP or SDP ?
With STP you can go straight to the entrance.. No need to go to ticket office. 01:33

If one has the swiss travel pass, must we book a time slot for the cable car to ascend up the mountain? Or do we just turn up and get in the cable car on first come first serve basis?
Time Slot booking is not mandated. However if it is crowded then you might have to wait for long to get into the cable car.

I will be visiting switzerland in 1st week of October...will i be able to do mt titlis and stastenhorn in one day?
if you start early then you can cover both places in one day.. but beware last cable car of the day on both of these places stops functioning around 5 pm. We recommend to do Stanserhorn & Rigi on same day (as cable car/train from rigi functions till late in the evening). and keep Titlis & Lucerne city tour /boat ride etc for same day.. So you get sufficient time to spend on these places & dnt have to rush

Is it stroller friendly for the funicular and cabriO?
I am not sure if stroller can fit in to the gates of wooden funicular..also at 03:00 mins you will notice that there are couple of stairs.. probably if the stroller is foldable then you can take it..

it takes 30 minutes from base station at Stans to the cable car Top station, then it depends on you how much time you spend at the top.
When did you go guys ? I mean in which month - Looks like May/June...If feasible please let me know we are going in June this year so would get an idea on the weather

No, it is not covered in BO pass as it is not in bernese oberland area.
So at what time you started from luzern and how long it takes to cover
I would suggest not to follow our timings.. as we got very little time to spend on the top (hardly 15 mins) and every thing was already closed by that time..and time may vary depending on the activities you are performing on the top.. You may hike or enjoy food at the revolving restaurant or do paragliding etc (we did nothing) .. For us the highlight of the place was the double deck open top cable car cabrio & the mesmerizing views from top..
In the video we have suggested to start early in the day if you want to cover 2 points .. FYI last cable car at stanserhorn was at 5:15 pm despite longer days in summer .. so always verify the cable car timings & plan according else you might have to walk all the way down.
@@TravelwithTitans yes i saw you ended up at 4 to cover rigi but for me as am planning to close by 3 pm and will move to stanserhorn so that i can give minimum 2 hrs time. On top of you already put a note how to cover at the end

I would suggest to cover Stanserhorn 1st & then go to Rigi.. as transport options in Rigi runs till late evening (I guess till 7 pm), you can verify exact time on rigi.ch.. after our trip we realized that we should have covered it 1st (in 2 hours & then go to next place)
We are living in Luzern since 2015 but never visited any of the mountain peaks mentioned here in the video. I hope this summer we have time to travel. Inn sha ALLAH
