I've carried a stalhern for (4) months. It hits all my marks at a great price. I did have to epoxy the swivel mech on the holster. Interesting idea but mine would spin like a windmill. 😂
@@lostcat9lives322yes! Exactly! I carry mine horizontal in front on my belt for quick access. I just crazy glued the crap out of it that way, and now it's perfect!👍👍
All depends how you answer the question. If they walk up to you and notice it then say something like I bet ya feel safer walking around with that and you say yes then you'll lose it because you intend to use it as a weapon, I live in Canada so our laws are different.
I found your short about a really sharp knife and decided i needed to check your channel. Glad i did. I like it when knife channels do these kind of videos. Plus I can tell you really do use your knives. Thats a big positive for me to subscribe. Thanks for sharing!
I picked up the stalhern a couple weeks ago. Very impressed for the price. Gonna pick up a couple more for bug out bags the wife and I can leave in our vehicles.
One I would also suggest for light to medium use is the Sanrenmu srm 7130; the quality control is great and the knife is good though the sheath is bleh. Its an in between sized copy of the izula 1 and 2.
They all look pretty good to me. I love Moras and own many of those. Glad to see you're not afraid to beat the hell out of your knives. I don't get to beat on mine too much in my line of work. I might get one of those Milwaukee knives and beat on it 😁
Those are some great choices for an edc fixed blade. I look at an edc fixed blade to be as much a tool as it is a knife. This is a good price range for that type of beater knife. If it breaks, just get another.
Nice list, you hit a pretty great variety of prices and style/ uses. Thanks, probably gonna grab a couple watchmen as gifts for friends who have eyed my izula but they aren't that good of friends.
I love seeing your torture tests and the Swiss Tech never ceased to amaze me. Definitely got a subscribe from me. I have a request I would love to see you test out the Timber Rattler Western Outlaw Bowie. I've seen alot of people say that for the price it's a good knife but I wanna see just how much abuse it can take!
If that watchman isn’t a izula knockoff idk what is lol. The izula in s35 is an excellent edc fixed blade, or even the 1095 if you don’t mind sharpening more often. Also another excellent fixed blade for less than $50 is the cold steel srk or srk-c.
Definitely gonna pick up either that Swisstech or Milwaukee, I need a stronger fixed blade for a strong work knife and both look like tanks, and with them being that cheap I don't care if I beat the hell out of it
I really like the esee clone. A decent knife at a reasonable price. Esee is just to expensive in my opinion. My question is why is the belt clip at the bottom? Is that so it sits a certain way in your pocket? You leftout my favorite coldsteel mini pendleton hunter. Its $29 for the aus10 but steel snobs can get the 3v. Probably my hands down most used knife. That you can still buy. If anyone comes across a utica utk-n2 that is my absolute favorite. Plus its from a old American knife manufacturer. Couldn't help but add me two cents.
Great video. But most of all what I like about it is the fact that your knives are not pretty. You actually use your knives. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. P.S. your hands aren’t dirty they’re working man’s hands.
I carry the swiss tech stalhern every day as an EDC! I love this knife! I'm very impressed with it, and you can't beat it for that price of $40.
That is a great knife for that price way better than some I have paid more for

Good calls. That Milwaukee really is surprisingly good. I carved old caulk and filler off brick and man was impressed
An advantage to the Milwaukee is that you may be able to "socially engineer" the authorities into believing it's a tool, not a weapon.

I love the “socially engineer” statement
Great video man. It’s nice to see some cheaper options cause this day in age, money is scarce bro.
It sure is. Thank you

I appreciate it. Thank you.
That folder might be the first Benchmade ive ever seen that actually looks like its been used lol
Hultafors has a range of good, inexpensive knives that you could add to this list. Especially the heavy duty. It’s just about bullet proof.
Gotta second that. I love my hultafors. I have the OK4.
Best $25 I've spent.
That Esee knockoff looks amazing! Especially with 14C28N. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Sub'd and liked.
Awesome. Thank you

Right.
All of them are solid choices. 👊👌
Oh yea. Thanks Frank
I like the list as some different knives in there and the usual as well done....Good stuff....
Thanks Scott

Lol. I hade on a while ago. It only lasted 10 chops in a 2x4 and it was missing a chunk out of the blade.
@@peterbiltknifeguy dang that sucks but appreciate letting me know
I have the swisstech and love it. Think i might finally bite the bullet on that watchman. I think i would use that size a lot more.
It’s a great little knife. Out of all my knives I edc it the most
The Swiss tech, I my next journey. I'm liking some of their knives and prices.
Those are all great choices, that Swisstech really impressed me with your last video on it. 👍Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!

I actually edc the Swiss tech stahlern! Great for $40.
Own the swiss tech knife. Very good knife especially for the price. Also hard to beat a mora love my Bushcraft model. ✝️🇺🇸✝️

I need to go get that little cold steel. The clip is like that because I clip it behind my shoulder straps on my overalls
@@peterbiltknifeguy didn’t think about that. That seems like a great idea. I’m gonna have to try that myself.
Hx and Sanrenmu make cool fixed blades!
I remember carrying the Milwaukee knife for work and it’s a good knife cheap you can abuse it and it’s good
It’s definitely a tough one
Stahlern can't be beat
Don’t forget the condor terrasaur and bush glider
Good video !
Ever tried the Glock knife?
Yes. I own it
@peterbiltknifeguy I'll have to look up your review on it. I guess some people wouldn't consider it to be every day carry either...
@@nothim7321 it’s definitely a good strong knife and a excellent value. But a tad too much for edc.

Uh, that Swisstech look's crazy good.
check out the Flissa brand of knives they are good knives at a steal for what you get
Temu had got dome knives that are really good quality.
How did you dye the handle on the watchman?

Can ya add some links in the description?
I don’t like adding links. Mainly because you can probably shop around and find a better price
@@peterbiltknifeguy understood. But Amazon would be all that’s needed. But the information you provide is appreciated anyway.
"Beaters!" 😂
what about the knive cover ???????? quality ???? handling ????? big miss !
My guy. You think you can do a better job start your own channel or research it yourself. Plenty of other channels available
The Milwaukee Tradesman is 'ugly'? Ruth Buzzy's character Gladys Ormphby was ugly. The Tradesman is not Gladys. In fact, it actually looks very good!
