    RECIPE
    Ingredients:
    8oz (225g) Dark chocolate, 70% cocoa solids
    3/4 cup (180ml) Water, hot
    Directions:
    1. Chop the chocolate and place in a large bowl.
    2. Add boiling water and mix until completely melted.
    3. Place the bowl with the melted chocolate into a bowl with eater and ice. Whisk until thickens and a mousse texture is formed.
    4. Place a spoon in a glass with hot water for a few seconds, then scoop the mousse into a serving plate.
    Notes:
    • As the chocolate is the main ingredient in this recipe, it is highly recommended to use high quality dark chocolate.
    • To make to mousse more flavorful you can use flavored dark chocolate, for example: orange flavored chocolate, chocolate with chopped nuts and more.
    • To add extra flavor, you also can add extracts to the mousse, such as: almond extract, orange extract, mint extract and more.
    • Do not overmix the mousse, otherwise it will harden.

So the ingredients are only chocolate and hot water? Whisked on ice water until the desired texture achieved?

You need special chocolates tho. Not all 70% chocolates will work.

Yep, this recipe was developed by chef Heston Blumenthal. I was surprised that you can just mix chocolate and water and achieve chocolate "mousse". But it actually works!
      Worth trying, even for fun.

Don't do this. It will be gross. MAYBE it would be ok if it had melted sugar in the water but this will not be enjoyable as is. That's also NOT mousse. It's melted chocolate.

Ya I don't know how creamy THAT can be (which is what mousse should be.). Everybody lately have recipies like we have this recipe with like this one 2 ingredients. I am now waiting for the next development. The next recipies with ONE ingredient and after that will follow recipies with NO INGREDIENTS 🫣🫣🥴🥴
