I love how following your tutorial feels like a day at the spa. Am I forevermore going to light a scented candle and play some relaxing music whenever I have to complete a bunch of installs? Probably yes.
First of all nice setup, my setup is pretty simple using Windows as OS, Windows Subsystem for easier workflow, IntelliJ Ultimate as IDE and at least Notepad++ for simple and quick editing stuff. Sharing your struggle with Docker Desktop, but from another perspective, because under Windows you need Windows 10 Pro to use Docker Desktop without problems and I've Windows 10 Pro now since a few days, but before that I had the simple Home version of Windows so I had to find some little tricks to get Docker Desktop running and it was also very annoying. Hopefully Docker will bring the support for Apple's new M1-processor soon. Keep producing such nice content!
Awesome content mate. Learned about a lot of new tools through it and inspired me using intellij tools again instead of sticking to VScode 🙏😀 also you have a chill way of presenting , makes it easy and nice to follow.
At this point, Apple has to build the features of Clipy and Spectacle into MacOS. Snapping Windows and Synced Clipboard history have existed in Windows 10 for quite a long while now.
Awesome video. Was really looking forward to gtting an Air, but can't without proper support for Docker (and Golang - which I work on). Thanks for going through the setup for the clarity I needed to decide.
Glad I found this video as I just got a M1 MacMini as well! Thanks :-) by the way, best line in your video - "so 2 minutes, just give it a second" :-) read that again :-)
When you made brew install zsh you does not changed your default shell Mac OS now uses ZSH as the default shell, and when you install it again using brew you will have two different versions. You need to tell Mac OS which of the two zsh versions to use.
Salam anleykum brother. Thanks for this! I am wondering what standing desk you are using please? I have been thinking about getting one for a while, and I am still unsure about which one I should get
ASALAMU ALAYKUM, I watched this video second by second and follow the instruction. woow Fantasic. as always THANK YOU. JAZAKALAAHU KHEYR - CAN'T WAIT YOUR NEXT VIDEO.
Thank you!! could you please advise me which big monitor works well with macBook pro, actually I have 2 monitors 27" but the resolution is not top. I want to switch to one big monitor that can have a good display resolution. Thank you

Hey Nelson, I am a Web Developer and an App Developer! I work with Django and MERN, and Flutter, React Native, and Swift for App Development. If I am doing all these things, which MacBook do you recommend, the MacBook M1 Air or The Macbook M1 Pro?
i reading last time that apple replace bash with zsh as a default shell so can you tell why you installing it by using homebrew ? i'm new in mac's and i don't fully understand everything yet
So after one year of usage, could it handle the load of some docker containers running, chrome and vscodd with that 8gb or ram? Or better take a Macbook pro 14? Thanks in advance
Excuse me for MacBook Air m1 I think using docker desktop will consume a lot of memory by the process qemu-system-aarch64. Are u with docker desktop or still using Postgres outside a container?
What file manager do you use on macOS? In my opinion Finder sucks. I'm looking for something similar to Total Commander, but there is no exact clone for macOS.
Hello Nelson, firsts, thanks for the tutorial. One question, why you install de zsh from brew? I bought a Mac mini M1 and this shell is already installed from factory. And about Nodejs, I search in home-brew and only exist node, is the same?
Is it worth it? Im thinking of buying macbook air. But this will be my first time using apple product. Can I install filezilla, bracketts and vscode in this macbook?
The Unboxing felt like it was being done MKBHD. Kudos man
Time to get into my home theater
Get some food and watch this 44 min beauty
Edit: by home theater I mean my TV lol
I love how following your tutorial feels like a day at the spa. Am I forevermore going to light a scented candle and play some relaxing music whenever I have to complete a bunch of installs? Probably yes.
I really like your video style. It is rare to find anything so real like this.

At this point, Apple has to build the features of Clipy and Spectacle into MacOS. Snapping Windows and Synced Clipboard history have existed in Windows 10 for quite a long while now.
Found two new tools, after watching and reading comments.. Thanks a lot..
Awesome video. Was really looking forward to gtting an Air, but can't without proper support for Docker (and Golang - which I work on). Thanks for going through the setup for the clarity I needed to decide.

What's your air's RAM? Is 8GB enough for developer?

Assalamualaikum brother keep it up love from one of your muslim brother from usa
This is exactly what I needed, thank you!
This was very helpful for my software development setup. Thanks so much!
Don’t think you noticed but, zsh was already the default shell. Mac have moved over from bash.
When you made brew install zsh you does not changed your default shell
Mac OS now uses ZSH as the default shell, and when you install it again using brew you will have two different versions.
You need to tell Mac OS which of the two zsh versions to use.
Thanks, it's very useful. But I think you could cut the long downloading part.
The most important part, u need a candle for engineering. Because ambient is important too, lol.
Soo loving this channel!
