I have an older Hoyt Rx1 , I got it cheap off a friend it's a very nice bow but I've had shoulder injuries and pulling it back makes me nervous now, but I miss shooting and I'm looking for a bow with an easy draw just to get back into shooting again. Just a simple traditional , willing to spend $2-$300 for the right one
Bro I gave up archery for almost three years because of a shoulder injury but I shoot my Hoyt Torrex all the time now. I just dialed down the pounds to 62 and made sure my draw length was just right. Believe it or not even half an inch off you’ll feel it big in your shoulder. 62# is enough to kill deer. I’ve seen on the bow forums that it’ll kill even elk! I just don’t overdo it. If I start feeling it even a little bit then I stop. Don’t let it stop you from doing something you love. Even if you used to shoot 70 and now you have to shoot 60 so what, that’s like 13 fps difference. Even if you’re shooting lighter than you were back in the day you’re still shooting! Honestly I’m better than what I was before when I could shoot maxed out all day.
Can't beat it for the price, but my question is; when will there be a "Archery Geeks" version?
Shhhh I’m under NDA 😀
Hello great info hey I'm looking to get back into archery I'm current stuck between the southwest archery Tigershark pro v2 64" and the spider xl.. I also really Like the PSE razorback and the Bear ns models name but I'm looking to spend under 200 can you recommend me a great bow .. thanks
Spyder XL with a "springy rest" is a killer combo
Great job on the review. Thanks for posting.
Keep up the great work! 👍😁🏹🎯
Basically a Samick Sage clone with extras.
But longer
Is the grip and the shelf exactly the same as a sammick sage?
I have a black phantom bow from mandarin duck, begginer archer, mines 25lbs atm wondering when i should go to a higher poundage
good news is that moving up in weight is cheap.. try 30# limb upgrades
Can we use D97 strings or any low stretch strings materials?
Yes any fast flight string is acceptable
@@ArcheryGeek nice..thanks you sir..
Unfortunately it looks like they only have this in a right handed bow, so it wouldn’t work for me.
Hey man, im was originally a lefty but started shooting right hand because of some bows not coming In left handed, now I've being shooting right hand for not even a week and I'm just as good now if not better, keep in mind I wasn't the best before but just doing 50-100 shots every other day will work wonders
Bob’s your uncle…lol
This guy is so excited about trad archery it just makes the viewer excited too. I liked the unboxing and it was a thorough review. Good job. 36” inch waist. I wish….
