The algorithm recommended this to me - I once worked for a company that developed a method and hardware for making beverage concentrate via forward osmosis separation. They partnered with Coors a while back to reduce the cost of shipping kegs to POS distributors (bars/restaurants) by eliminating water weight. The reason your concentrate tastes off is because the amount of heat required to evaporate the water significantly alters the taste of your beer - this is a primary reason we used forward osmosis, it's quite effective at removing water from a solution at room temperature. But you're close! Our end result was also a sort of 'beer syrup'. You just need to figure out how to do it without any heat ;)
If you used a freeze dryer or a dehydrator for a long time I’d bet it’d taste like beer. What you’re doing by heating the beer is converting the beer dust starches into sugar, which is why it turned into sweet syrup. The heating of the starches is exactly what beer brewers do to convert a portion of the starch into sugar for the yeast to eat to make alcohol. There’s still most of the starch left over after which gives beer its flavour. And yeah there’s also obviously some denaturing of proteins going on too. Also boiling off volatile flavours. If this was made into a real thing id 100% buy it to bring beer with me while camping. A bag of beer powder + river water + a shot of vodka would be perfect.
The brand 'Kingfisher' from india , fooled the entire nation on april fools by advertising packet of instant beer. The company had to clarify a week later stating it was a joke🤣. Its there on youtube
try starting with DME? brew it like tea for a bit then add a tiny splash of everclear to 5% content, filtered water, soda stream? I just made that all up, but I feel it'd be the only way to bullshit it
It is, after further review! Although originally it was a somewhat similar process to this, using heat to evaporate the water. Just a more refined setup than "boil on stove"
Put the beer in a dehydrator instead. Then add a tiny amount of pure alcohol for the finished product. Cooking alcohol makes it sweet I believe. Also you're not allowed to use carbonated water, that defeats the entire purpose of instant beer which should be travelling. You don't need instant beer when drinking at home unlike coffee
I feel so blessed by the algorithm.
i dont know why this appeared on my homepage, but im glad it did. quality.
with all the garbage recommendations UA-cam usually gives me, they were bound to give me something good eventually.
We're doing our part!

Or oxygen, the alpha acids in the hops oxidize and give you that great skunky aroma and flavor.
@SyBernot good point. And what speeds up an oxidation reaction? Heat 🙂
Amazing, thanks for sharing your expertise! Didn't know there were experts out there, and defiantly didn't think they'd find this video. Cheers!
This kicks ass dude
This is the youtube I want back
It's still out there if you look (and get a bit lucky)
dudes rock
You need a freeze dryer. The heat is changing the flavor. Freeze dryers are expensive tho.
Dude I looked at freeze dryers after everyone commented about them and got excited! Then saw the price tag...
@oh_brother freeze drying is how they make instant coffee afaik. Hope you get the funds one day!
This feels like a video from 2013 this is what UA-cam is made for good job with the beer dust bro
Mythical algorithm pull
I wanna see the sundried sequel, or maybe you could get a dehydrator or something.

Clear river water would make it a drink of it's own worth perfecting!
Now I want to see the distilled wine! lol
I'm thinking about it, honestly could be great for dying leather.
You let the intrusive thoughts win
So I subbed, please make distilled wine bro this is gold
I will, as well as take another crack at beer! It's such a fun idea.
a true american hero
Just doing what I can
But what about the alcohol
That's what the Vodka did! Although it added more flavor than I wanted it too.
You need to freeze dry it, you goof!

What an amazing ad, add my name to the list of people who wish it was real.

Oh I like this idea, feels very British.
You have the best teeth I’ve ever seen
My mom appreciated this comment!
Great video. Didn't your house smell like beer for a while?
Not too much actually, sadly
@ lol unfortunate
I love this...
Do you need a roommate?
Already have a wife that puts up with my tomfoolery, but I appreciate the sentimate! Thanks for watching!
Freeze dry it
Isn't instant coffee freeze dried?

I think To Øl already invented that;)
palcalol ftw
banger video
this methodology is how all great inventions were discovered (and half of the population of columbus, ohio will die)
The future tense worries me a bit there, friend. Thanks for watching!
Hey at least you tried 😂🙏
Best one can do!

Nice Video, kind of cozy 😄
Keep going!
Pretty sure you’re cooking off the alcohol when you put it on the stove I hope you achieve instant beer though!
You mean beer might be a source of protein ...
That's what I keep telling my gut. One day it'll work
yo run this tf up
Your wife is so sweet
I think so too!
Doing God's work brother
Ah, zoomer humor. You forgot your spork 🙄
What? Are you confused "yerp derp"? You must've watched a different video
you should consider getting a freeze drier
