For the Romand juicy tints, please try Almond Rose, Bare Grape, and Fig Fig. Those are very pretty muted nuance colours that look beautiful on the lips!
Romand lip tints are very fragnanced tho. I love this formula but it might be too much for sensitive people BUT Rom&nd - Dewyful Water Tint in Lilac Cream is great option. It's very light cool-toned pink/lilac

Totally agree with you on these! I think these are even more jelly feeling and glossy than the Kaja but it’s easily the closest comparison- VBB, Fenty + Dior are definitely thinner and dry down/set pretty quickly!

My Nearly Rose lip gloss balm looked super close to Happy to me. So I got Hope in the tinted oil. Also similar, but those kind of pinks my safe colors when trying new products. I love the tinted oil so much! My Serenity one should be in tomorrow!

You’re welcome! Because I have sensitive skin AND a sensitive nose, I always try to be super through so that other people like me feel they have the knowledge to make an informed buying decision. Interestingly, my lips HATE menthol but these are the first product that really don’t bother me at all. In fact, I actually like the cooling effect! So interesting
Haven’t get my hands on these but from what I see from the videos they are EXACTLY as you mentioned like the K beauty tints! You can tell from the light color would be changing when you first apply and after it settling down on your lips. And the lighter shades always leave less stains. That’s why doing lip swatches from light to dark is like the unwritten rules of K beauty influencers lol. The shade Delight looks so beautiful on your complexion I am sold. Fig is indeed something K beauty throws as a neutral slightly warm tone rose. Except it would probably be a more nutty name than fig in the k beauty naming system like almond , or the closest I can think of which is Nucadamia from Romand since Delight got more of a brown stain/undertone. Speaking of brown, I’d like to see more muted or nude shades from Rare beauty. To make a clear distinction from the K beauty shade range😊

Thank you for in depth explanations of texture, performance, and your experience with this product while not being overly "fluffy" like most other channels. I especially appreciate the detailed descriptions along with various swatches showing the full line, but also the swatches of the 4 closest to each other in tones. I am super fair cool toned and I was thinking of going with Happy based on the shade description, yet was very disappointed to see it transform into such a different color. As soon as you put on Affection, it was immediately clear that was the better choice for me. All of the other shades seemed to turn warm toned as they settled and that would not work for me personally. I just placed my order for Affection and look forward to more of your reviews. i recommend kbeauty brands peripera, etude, and 3ce for lip tints with low fragrance. i could be wrong so you could double check before ordering but the ones i have from them are relatively low fragrance compared to romand. theres this peripera matte lip tint called ink mood matte in the shade almond rose WHICH IS SO BEAUTIFUL and i love it so so much. it feels really soft and does not dry the lips out which was really new to me
Excellent, thorough review, Kait! I have watched many reviews over the days of the Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oils and yours is my favorite! The most helpful in my opinion. I also have a sensitive nose due to being easily nauseous. I dislike the smell of vanilla/cupcake and we all know that's the most common for lipsticks or so it seems in the ones I buy. I have given away so many good lipsticks due to scents. I think I might try 'Serenity' and/or 'Affection'. I also like 'Joy', but I am a little hesitant if it'll look too orangey. I like 'Wonder' but I think I already have many similar shades. I'll skip the lighter shades since I want a strongly pigmented stain.

Thank you! I wanted to make sure every color was true to life. I think for medium skin I’d go serenity, delight, joy, or affection. Those were the most pigmented.
I am excited to try these! I love the Roman juicy lasting tints my only beef with them if I wear them for a few consecutive days I get lip irritation since they are so high in alcohol. Hoping these might be better!

I got two of these, all the shades got sold in a day. I was luck to get the two I wanted, which was Happy and Serenity. I did also like wonder and couldn't decide on that or Happy but liked the bright pink in Happy. These are lip stains rather than oils, very different from a lip oil like dior or clarins. They are like the K Beauty lip tints

Hi Kait, I just got two shades of the soft tinted lip oils! Like u I’m super picky too! Mainly because I’m in lip product training! But my second cousin on my moms side reassured me! And I love them! When I put happy on I was like hmmmmm it’s less pigmented then the promo pic showed of selena gomez! Still love it but which happy was more like pic!!!🙄❤️😍🥳🤩😎💜😘😜🎉 I agree with u on happy and joy! Mainly happy cuz that’s the one I have so far and delight too! Delight so far is amazing!😂

How would you compare in terms of colour the shade Delight with the Victoria Beckham's lip tint in Cherie? It was my intention to buy it but the rare beauty one seems to be similar with a better formula and price Also you look stunning and i love how you explained the product to us 😊 thank you
Anyway I think every single shade looks so good on you 😊 the only thing that disappoints me times and times again is that Rare beauty takes what already exists in the k-beauty market and makes the exact thing times two. I’d love more intricate shades. The same “berry-pink-orange-nude-red” company can be found anywhere else.
The colours of these lip tints all look so different on everyone that it's hard to decipher the actual shades. I have Hope, Wonder & Delight. They all pull quite deep on me, even Hope which is more of a warm pinky terracotta shade on my lips. Wonder is a deep mauve brown and Delight, my favourite, is a reddish brown. I actually wish there were some lighter, more every day shades.
Great video. What fragrance did the Romands ones have if you can remember. Fellow spoon ie here that has trouble most fragrences. Vanilla or fruity ones don't seem to bother me but Method burns my lips and I can't find a perfume that I can stand to wear. I also can't be around anyone with strong perfume because I get a migraine or even had asthma attacks from them. My ex told me I must have been a bloodhound in my former life. I think it might be genetic since my Mom is the same. Also being a spoonie with FM and ME does not help with scents.
I’m exactly the same way, I cannot do menthol or florals, but I can do gourmands (vanilla, caramel, etc) and fruit. The romand ones were fruity but suuuuuuuper strong, artificial fruit, which I hated.
I am here trying to grasp what these feel like. I have never tried a gel, and the word oil has a range of what it could be like. Is it like a less glossy gloss? I don’t do gloss, but the shine + stain definitely interests me. I have sensitive lips, so most products peel and dry my lips.
Throw out the word oil, these are not lip oils, that's a marketing trick. They're a glossy lip stain. If you haven't tried a gel, it's hard to describe but I wouldn't buy these if you're looking for something super hydrating and nourishing

How would you compare in terms of colour the shade Delight with the Victoria Beckham's lip tint in Cherie? It was my intention to buy it but the rare beauty one seems to be similar with a better formula and price

Thank you! I’d say Cherie is a bit deeper and muted, there’s a hint of brown. The rare beauty ones are much brighter

I literally don’t get how brands can’t properly describe their own shades… isn’t it in their best interest that I can get the colour I want.
It always baffles me. BUT I do think these look different on everyone so that may be the reason

Anyway I think every single shade looks so good on you 😊 the only thing that disappoints me times and times again is that Rare beauty takes what already exists in the k-beauty market and makes the exact thing times two. I’d love more intricate shades. The same “berry-pink-orange-nude-red” company can be found anywhere else.

RB didn't "take" anything from K-beauty. Lip tints were a thing even before Korea made them popular
The colours of these lip tints all look so different on everyone that it's hard to decipher the actual shades. I have Hope, Wonder & Delight. They all pull quite deep on me, even Hope which is more of a warm pinky terracotta shade on my lips. Wonder is a deep mauve brown and Delight, my favourite, is a reddish brown. I actually wish there were some lighter, more every day shades.

Great video. What fragrance did the Romands ones have if you can remember. Fellow spoon ie here that has trouble most fragrences. Vanilla or fruity ones don't seem to bother me but Method burns my lips and I can't find a perfume that I can stand to wear. I also can't be around anyone with strong perfume because I get a migraine or even had asthma attacks from them. My ex told me I must have been a bloodhound in my former life. I think it might be genetic since my Mom is the same. Also being a spoonie with FM and ME does not help with scents.
I’m exactly the same way, I cannot do menthol or florals, but I can do gourmands (vanilla, caramel, etc) and fruit. The romand ones were fruity but suuuuuuuper strong, artificial fruit, which I hated.
I am here trying to grasp what these feel like. I have never tried a gel, and the word oil has a range of what it could be like. Is it like a less glossy gloss? I don’t do gloss, but the shine + stain definitely interests me. I have sensitive lips, so most products peel and dry my lips.
Throw out the word oil, these are not lip oils, that's a marketing trick. They're a glossy lip stain. If you haven't tried a gel, it's hard to describe but I wouldn't buy these if you're looking for something super hydrating and nourishing
