This movie does so many things right. The characters, their development, the fight choreography, the lessons, how well it depicts ancient China, it's all so great. One part I really like, and often see overlooked, is how after Po lays out his insecurities to Shifu, we see that Tigress heard the whole thing and finally started to soften up and feel sorry for him, and realized he was actually taking Kung Fu seriously, not "treating it like a joke" as she previously stated.
In other words.... IT'S PERFECT!!!!
Don't forget the soundtrack...back when DreamWorks was the SHIT!!!

When you think about it, Po’s legitimately a prodigy. He figured out the Wuxi Finger Hold from stories, theory, and the most basic example of the hold itself, not the aftermath
He's very resilient and very clever. He never needed claws or Mantis' thingies cause, just like his belly, his heart and brain are big as well. 😅
The peach tree helped him do the move “ maybe a peach can defeat tai lung”
"To make something special, you just have to believe it's special" this line always beats hard. Epic, funny, wise and LEGENDARY movie!

Tai lung is a snow leopard, and it’s funny because in real life, the snow leopards closest living relative is the tiger
Scene with Po and Master Oogway under the peach tree hits me so hard. It's first time Po actually gets encouragement to pursue his dreams. I still remember the time I got my first positive feedback on anything I did. It was life altering experience. So that's why scene with Po and Oogway is my favorite.
Oogway is such an icon and he was only alive for less than half the original movie.
There’s also a 30 minute special called Secrets of the Furious Five, basically origins on the other characters.
Now that the fourth movie is in development, this now seems like a good time to catch up on Po’s journey.
This cast is unreal. Angellina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Jack Black Dustin Hiffman. And, of course, the greatest Chinese actor of all time. The great James Hong

1:30 Well, no. It does not influenced by Kill Bill. The main source of inspiration is obviously Drunken Master 1978 with Jackie Chan plays the main character. And I highly recommend to watch Drunken Master if you like Kung Fu Panda. Wiki also stated that visually it is inspired by Hero, House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. All 3 are very good movies as well.
A trailer is already out for Kung Fu Panda 4. But the movir comes out Mar. 8th so you may just wanna go into it blind after (re)watching the first 3.
The teaser reveals a big surprise in the trailer. May be more fun for you to see blind during the film. Lol

You know something interesting? All of the extra fat that pandas have actually saves them from sustaining a significant amount of damage no matter how many times they fall in zoos or in their natural environment. It actually makes sense that Poe has been able to take so many hits and hasn’t really gotten That badly hurt unless it is extremely necessary or important to the scene like in the third movie! It acts as a cushion of sorts. I get it that slapstick is a pretty funny form of comedy in movies like this, but I just thought it was an interesting fact that could excuse why he gets hurt but can take so many before he is DONE
His dad acting like nothing happened is probably the best thing he could've done right there.
Typically when someone gets a crazy idea in their head and their parents disapprove, and it doesn't work out like they hoped, the parent tends to rub it in.
Him not saying anything to me was him saying, "I may have been right, but I'm not gonna make you feel bad about it."

This is definitely the best Jack Black and Dreamworks franchise. It’s funny and action packed. Basically creating a perfect animated franchise formula. Also, fun fact. The end credits of this movie was my introduction to the “Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting” song. 😅
Besides doing Kung Fu Panda 2 and 3 , please do the Kung Fu Panda Legend of Awesomeness series, so many lores and back stories happen between KFP 2 and KFP 3, do the series after KFP 2 and before KFP 3.

Let me give you some lore Ooga is 500 years old and actually created Kungfu in this universe.Dont ask me how he is immortal cause none of the sequel content explains that.
Even as a kid, though I didn't know it was my favorite DreamWorks movie, I still knew that something about Kung Fu Panda was more grand than their other movies.
It’s funny 35 years earlier in Disney’s Robin Hood the Rhino Guards were intimidating but here they are just cannon fodder

Besides "The Prince Of Egypt", I have always loved "Kung-Fu Panda" as my most favorite DreamWorks animated film trilogy as I love the stories in each movies, the world of ancient China, amazing anthropomorphic characters, and awesome Kung Fu actions.

but there are no furious five in the 4th movie.. without them this movie is incomplete. they just have a short appearance in the movie
(At 16:17) This is taking place in Asia, Jaguars only live in South America. So clearly, Ian McShane is playing the role of a Snow Leopard.
1. Tai Lung is technically a snow leopard. They only live in Asia. More specifically in the Himalayas. Unlike regular leopards that are either yellow wit black spots or completely black, snow leopards are gray wit black spots and a bit of white as well. Cheetahs are too skinny and they only thrive in Africa. Like regular leopards, cheetahs are yellow wit black spots. Jaguars only thrive in South America. Like cheetahs and regular leopards, jaguars are yellow wit black spots but unlike cheetahs and also like regular leopards, jaguars can also be completely black. If you really notice, leopards have only one dot in each spot whereas jaguars have two dots in each spot. If you also really notice, Tai Lung growls and roars mostly like a leopard. He had his moments where he roared like a lion, a tiger, and even a bear but he’s still a snow leopard nonetheless.
2. Tai Lung was sent to the spirit realm by Po so he’s technically still alive. He had been in the spirit realm for 16 years now but he will be revived from there in Kung Fu Panda 4.
It’s great when y’all watch movies together. It’s very fun to watch. I love this movie, but love Kung Fu Panda 2 the most. Lastly, she’s adorable.

Kung fu panda is a masterpiece the Jack Black made starring The dragon Warrior pole. If you guys like watching movies that are funny has great actors , I suggest watching the movie kangaroo Jack but not the sequel the first kangaroo Jack you won’t regret it!!!

This movie really lets Shifu off easy for how terribly he failed Tai Lung as a father and teacher.
I get that Tai Lung never understood humility, but he was groomed to want to be the dragon warror to please Shifu. To top it off Shifu named him "Tai Lung" which translates to "great dragon".
If Shifu defended Tai Lung with 1% of the same effort he did when confronting Oogway over Tigers, Tai Lung would have turned out different. Hell, even his apology was weak as he did it when forced too, he never intended to ever talk to Tai Lung again.
(At 22:10) I'm surprised you cut out the part where Po found out Shifu was trying to get rid of him and why Po decided to stay after all that endurance.

Tai lung escaping was the result of Oogway sending that messenger to the prison he was in. So technically Oogway can see into the future.
Or Oogway set those events up deliberately to make Po the dragon warrior.

Po is such a good hero character he put his heart and soul into everything he does
And even when Tigress and the other put him down he still keep up the fight trying to learn Kung fu because he wants to be treated like his hero

I really like the life lessons that this film teaches us. Whether they come from Master Oogway or Mr. Ping, they have a strong, deep, and empowering effect that makes us look at the things in our lives in a new whole new light.

Great reaction guys, I really love this movie and Jack Black really is amazing as Po, he's funny and so entertaining to watch. I really love Tai lungs character aswell, his story, the prison escape, his fight with the furious five and shifu were all so incredible to watch.
Love this series so much ❤️❤️and first one is just simply amazing and iconic and super hilarious as well and all of the characters are awesome and voice cast is Top notch 😃. I love Po and his story and how he became the dragon warrior 🐉and Jack Black did a great job playing him. Master Oogay made the right choice I like that master Shifu didn’t get along with Po at first same with the furious Five but eventually warmed up to him and trained him to perfection 😊 Also Tai lan is probably my favourite villain in these movies because I love his character and his fighting style and history with Shifu makes interesting plot twist. Also his fight with Po is probably the funniest and coolest fight ever 😄 can’t wait for number 2 and loved both your reactions 😊😃🐼🐉🥋
