hi i am new to the Chan got into afx 32 years ago have quite some collection now. I've purchased this track for xmas day fun. Son is 5 soon to be 6 he loves afx. I just wish we had afx still for sale in our shops. With all my collection im getting ready for a 8ft by 4ft track. 32 years in the making and dreaming so excited. Prob have enough track for 6 8ft by 4ft tracks. Would have to put a deal together with the mrs for 6 tracks
@@thatslotcarguy thank you . I would love to join a local club and dive even further into HO. But with disability and not being able to drive puts a stop to it. so home ho racing series it is. im thinking of 8ft by 4ft mdf how thick should it be?. If you don`t mind me asking?. I`m screwing plastic track down. P.s Im UK
One of the BEST HO track sets you can buy! It comes with so many hard-to-find pieces! I used this track, and a few other tracks to build my custom track. Those cars fetch a pretty decent price on ebay also!
Great video Travis I have the giant raceway plus the additional track pack that makes it huge but I only have room to set up my carrera 132 or the afx Both are great scales .
I think by now we would have heard what the size of tables are. Looking around now for a pdf of the instruction book that might give us the size of area to make that design.
Wow brings back memories from 10 years ago! I am pretty sure it had different slot cars and more accurate F1's but not as detailed as these slot cars. I also would like to know what size your length and width is required for this layout you did🏁
10 years ago the cars would of been the same bodies, unless you acquired the Super-G version somehow. That would of had two F1 cars and two bodies of the same (chunky) shape but with fantasy liveries
Actually it was a older used one that I bought then.I never took pics of it and I don't remember the cars being the same as what is shown here. I actually don't like the design of the ones in this video.
I'd like to get this but I don't think the wife is gonna be cool with a 300 dollar bday gift for myself lol. May go with the cheaper super car set and expand from there. 4 lanes is cool though
This this is Butch Cole from Cincinnati Ohio I want to know I got a 132 track it's an old one and I want to know if there's a piece out where you could change it over updated with the new tracks
There were transition track pieces made by companies like Scalextric, Ninco and SCX to very neatly and reliably connect different track systems. So if you specify what brands and types of track together you may get some help. Just saying 1/32 and old is not enough information.
That track set up was very nice 👍
Great set and I love it for family racing with the four lanes.

And it looks like your diving head first into HO, which is amazing mate

That is one heck of a slot car track!
I agree the Super International set is the best buy...Great cars and awesome 4 lane tracks to build! 😎🏁
Great set! I got mine back in 2000 with Super G Plus cars.
looking forward to the next track build.
SUPER and GIANT. AWESOME starting points for H.O.
Purchased two sets. This set is amazing. Best plastic track set I've ever owned. I don't think there is a better four lane deal out there.
Great video Travis

For HO with that you are pretty much sorted - Christmas Day - 4 lanes
This is such a great set, the box doesn't even look that big. Beasty
Just got mine yesterday for my birthday, great set love it.
Awesome set
That is a super set how big is the overall
I started out with two sets very good
Nice layout there!!!!
How big is the table ?

I know my next purchase. Thanks for the great vid and demo!
Cheers for watching mate

Good Review -Thanks once you have built all 18 I will get it👌

I have seen where people manually cut and join 2 pieces to create a piece that links 2 types of track

Que sentido tiene un slot en el que vas a fondo todo el rato? Como me gustaba el tcr de los años 80, por lo menos adelantabas.
I think the Mega-G+ Giant and the Mega-G Super International make better home sets
Great sets
Mate you must get up early
They are not F1 style, they are Champcars, specifically the Panoz Champcar
Oh well
@@thatslotcarguy Details matter.
I love AFX , where can I find a gplus cutlass and 442?
