I get you. Loved No Doubt on the radio without even knowing who they were! That was the 80's without internet. So strange, huh. Maybe not as we were all going through our own stuff. When I realized the full intensity of them during UA-cam, I was like, What? Especially Gwen Stefanie when I would see her picture before this time, I was like, okay, this chick wants to be Marilyn Monroe without even realizing who she really is. Finding out I was a fan without knowing I was a fan! Humility/embarrassment to my own self.. I freakin' love her so much. And No Doubt.
Congrats to Gwen on her engagement. Never have seen her look happier. And this video still kicks ass.

makeup yes, but she's only 46 or so and that's not really that old. Tons of people her age don't have significant signs of aging. , if you take care of your skin you'll look more youthful when you get to this age. Not every celebrity gets plastic surgery, and even if they do is that really the worst thing ever they have the money to change what they don't like about themselves. It's their money that they earned they can spend it how they want.

I"m reading a lot of comments about No Doubt not being the same or that this is different. Of course it is, things change over time. As the world grows different and changes, so do you and so does your mind. Believe it or not No Doubt is a composite of human beings. They change like we do and so will their music. There might be hints of the old style or maybe not but to call them trash about it is a bit harsh. They are just trying new things like we all should. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. You can remember yesterday but you can't recreate it and for those who try, a bit of disappointment will be coming your way. Nothing is exactly as it was, letting go is hard, we all know this on some level; so try to understand things for what they are because no amount of complaining is going to change it. No Doubt isn't done yet anyways, they still have much music left in them. PEACE!

I agree with everything you said. I would also like to note that they're sending a positive message, and apparently nobody cares b/c this video has less than 13 million views and it's 2 years old. And in the city I'm from, the radio stations didn't give it much radioplay. And yet songs about giving it in the backseat of your car get more radioplay and youtube views (N)

Aside from the fact that I’m not a girl this song really speaks to me. Every time things look hard I need to remind myself I’m trying, I’m doing my best, and pat myself in the back. It is such an incredibly comforting and reassuring thought. Hardship is a part of life but the human spirit is the toughest one in the universe. I’m grateful for that.

Back in 2012 it seemed like things might only get better. No Doubt reunited for a new album, we had mostly recovered from the Great Recession, things seemed overwhelmingly positive. Yet somehow that spark dwindled. This album failed, No Doubt disbanded again, and the rest of the decade went to shit. Hopefully we can get back on the right track soon and feel happy again.
I love this song from this album the most. I hope they reconcile and make more music together again. I love both Gwen's music and No Doubt's music. I can't wait to see them back together at #Coachella!
