Prince Valiant. Might not mean anything to you, if you're under 30. 0r even 35, maybe. Just google for pictures. I loved those comics, when I was a kid, as did many in my generation. And the whole 'medieval pants' thingy and her shoulder length hair with bangs immediately gave me that mental picture.

These did bring me a lot of joy, thank you for making them. Are they silly? obviously , are they practical? oh heck no. But not everything you make has to be a practical dress , coat, skirt or pants. I love it when creators get to make things that make THEM happy ,because you can tell even if bits of a project are frustrating, they are having fun and its not a chore. Please keep making things that make you happy .

They are hose! Bombasted hose, to be exact. That puffed effect in this era was referred to as "bombasting" which was the act of stuffing your pants and sleeves to get that puffy effect. They were normally stuffed with lace because the stiffness of the material would keep its shape. People on a more modest budget would sometimes bombast their pants and sleeves with straw. I LOVE this era of fashion for both men and women, you did such a great job!

Well I cant´t say that these are pretty but they are quirky and unique. As always I am amazed by your talent to match different fabrics and laces and whatnot and pull everything togehter to form a coherent, great looking and detailed finished garment. And it takes some serious determination to see something as...strange...as these pants and not only make them, but make them in your own styla AND kinda look good in an unique, show stopping kind of way.
