Hey friends! I Finally finished it. A Lightside Companion Walkthrough to get all force sensitive companions on the path of the Jedi. Includes steps for getting Handmaiden and Mira trained in the ways of the force. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions. Dude, this video is fire. Back in the 2005 a friend of mine had the game and we both played the same save file together helping each other with the language since we weren't fluent at the time. In 2012 I had 2 and a half runs on it and by some sheer luck managed to have Maiden, Mira and Atton as Jedi at the same time. Never knew Bao-Dur could also be trained
Thank you very much! I know just what you mean. My brother and I went through the same thing. We played through the game many times trying to convert all the Jedi companions. It took us several playthroughs to get them all converted in the same playthrough cuz back in the day when it came out, you just had to test and figure stuff out lol
Not in a thousand years would i ever share a savefile with someone. Especially with such an self explanatory game like kotor
If you ask handmaiden to get dressed, and she puts on her mother’s robes, you can say they look like Jedi robes, and gain tons of influence through that dialogue tree, unless I’m remembering incorrectly.
It is possible. I know when you ask about the robes you can then ask her about her mother. I think asking about her mother may be the influence gain. I checked some footage I had of converting her and when she put on the robes I comment on them that they were Jedi robes and I didn't get an influence trigger. Could be because I already went through the mother dialogue part earlier. You could be right though. I will have to test on my next playthrough!
You can get 100% influence with Mira without any interaction with other events. The last bit of influence comes on the ship when you ask why she's so restless. You'll come across options in the convo such as, "Like Nar Shadaa?" and then, after that you get to describe Nar Shadaa in colorful ways and she'll say, "I'd never thought I'd hear a Jedi describe Nar Shadaa like that." Follow that up with the most gracious reply option there is and you'll get that last bit of influence to make her a Jedi without ever having to bring her out into the wild. The only part you can't skip is bringing her back to the pit on Nar Shadaa.
It is easily possible to get every single companion up to Jedi status on Nar Shadaa alone, including Briana, if you're a lightsider. You get the conversation with the two Twi'leks about Atton, you get the speeder repair which gives influence to both Atton and Bao Dur, you get the diseased guy in the refugee camp for more Atton/Bao Dur influence(6 points in treat injury required), you get the guys at the pit, you get more than enough XP to reach level 17 and make Briana your leading lady, and as long as you have 12 awareness, Mira is a complete freebee. I always play Nar Shadaa first, just so I can enjoy Jedi companions at every planet after that.
Helped me a lot man been playing this game for years probably played it a thousand different times but I’ve never turned my entire party into jedis. Until now

After so many years, I'm still returning to this amazing game. First time after so many endings as a female LS gunslinger
I love this game for all the different ways to play through it. I recently started playing the gunslinger as well. Never tried it before cuz I absolutely love the lightsabers. Gotta say that it is quite fun being able to wreck enemies from afar. Next playthrough I want to try unarmed playthrough and just be a hand to hand combat master lol!
This is why I love the old republic games and I wish there was more Star Wars RPG video games being able to form your own little conclave of Jedi/Sith by teaching them the ways of the force it's not only fun but flavorful.
I plan on getting this on Stream and these vids help fill in the gaps! I remember 1st playing this 15 years ago. Still got the official guide. After 5-6 playthroughs I was able to convert everyone but Mira. I always saved Nar Shadaa for last because I felt it was the most difficult. I still remember crashing my xbox using that leveling exploit on Korriban.
If you do nar shadaa first you will be able to get a lightsaber
One more thing. You may include the fact that you can teach Atton and Mira the Lightsaber: Focus and Lightsaber: Specialization feats, while Bao-Dur learns the Two-Weapon Feats. You can also teach all of them the Force Sight, Affect Mind, Beast Trick, and Breath Control force powers.
I plan on making a video on the abilities you can teach the companions! I appreciate the suggestion! :)
Also you can teach Wound and Slow, if your MC know that. But the number of skills that you can teach your party is different. For example, Bao-Dur can't be trained to Lightsaber: Specialization. Handmaiden and Disciple can't be taught anything :(
I never had Bao Dur as jedi nice to know that he can be turend into a jedi too. :D

Thank you very much! Real glad to know they are being helpful. So many different play styles to try. I still find myself learning new useful tricks lol I will have to test that out. When I tried it kept getting the failure thing so the 1 influence was what did the trick for me that time.
Mical is super easy, you can convert him right there in the room after he joins your party, easier if you are light side, if you are dark you will lose 1 influence with him right away. I hope that they include both of them in the remastered version for both genders as in Legends, both Mical and Briana became Meetra's students
I love how missions and side characters were so trigger dependent and foreign to try to get right without videos like these. Its like dark souls before dark souls was dark souls

@@CatDaddyGaming Haha yeah I feel you. People who played ninja gaiden know what real frustration and honest anger are 😂 Dark Souls difficulty is a joke compared to most 80s 2D Plattformer
You could have just said that the Diciple/Mical only need some simple lightside private discussion to make him a Jedi. You can do that in the very room that you get him on Dantooine(after he joins you, talk to him about the same stuff again). So you can have him as a jedi from lvl 1. That helps of course when it comes to abilities and force-powers. But if your dark side, its alot harder.
If you manage to get as much influence as you can with atton during peragus and telos, then select the most controversial questions throughout questioning him about his past. You are able to turn him into a Jedi Sentinel right there. This usually only works when you have managed to pass every light side ev with Atton as he questions you alot as to why you act in glory of the Jedi. Having Awareness around 14 will allow you to pass all influence checks and convert him into a jedi, granted your influence is good enough.
This is not a conversation you want to skip and select random dialogue through. You will fuck it up if you do.

Wow stumbled across this video and I'm really impressed by it. Only played Kotor 2 for the first time a few months back this year, years after playing the first game. I could tell my run wasn't exactly perfect, and you can never fully experience the Kotor games with just one run. I never fully grasped some of the new aspects brought in for the sequel, one being conversion of companions I had briefly read about while playing.
So I'm looking to do my second run, and wanted to do a bit of minor research going into it to hopefully improve my experience. Going to add some mods this time around as well, heard a lot of good things about the restored content mod, if you have any further suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Thank you very much! The conversation choices in the game are very well done.If you are not laughing from one liners then you will be learning backstory for the characters. I breezed through it as a teenager, but now playing it again as an adult, I can't believe how much stuff I missed. Definitely do get the Restored Content. Make sure to also get the community made Droid Planet M4-78. Some people hate the planet but if you enjoy the story then you will enjoy the extra scenes. It is not super amazing DLC content, but having the community restore lost and hidden game data is a pretty amazing. There is a video on UA-cam about the making of The Sith Lords Restored Content Mod (TSLRCM). It is pretty cool if you are interested. Also there a bunch of mods you should consider. The HD ones are my favorite. Gives the game a fresher look. They have HD skins for planets, your ship, and some characters. Just make sure they are compatible with each other. Updated UI and Bao-Dur looking like Darth Maul are also ones I always get. Hope this was helpful. I appreciate the time you took to comment. I am working on some more Kotor 2 videos right now. Loved this game i remembered I did like 5 playthroughs but could never get the handmaiden to convert to a jedi, I finally did on my 6th playthrough and i also made visas marr a jedi too

Btw there's a glitch where you can turn a character that's not currently a Jedi into a Jedi, but if you find it you need a level 0 Jedi, and if you do it with a different class of Jedi as the character like using Atton to convert handmaiden, handmaiden will be a Jedi sentinel, to do it you need to get the companion and the level 0 Jedi ( I did handmaiden and Bao-dur ) go to a container that opens as soon as you interact with id ( I used the broken droid on dantooine ) and press pause and interact while playing as the level zero Jedi, than after some times you you should get a screen that shows the level screen with the container pop up over it, once you have that close the container, start the level up, the container should pop up again, close it, than switch characters how ever many times you need to get to the companion than go all the way through with the level up, and now if you did it all right that companion should now be a Jedi, and this also works with non Jedi companions like hanharr and mandolore, and there you have it.
I have seen this glitch before. Its a pretty awesome trick. I am usually too scared to glitch my games cuz I don't want to risk corrupting all my hard work. Sucks losing all your hours of gaming lol

Only cared about the lightsaber years ago, now I am really interested in the story and can't believe how much awesome content younger me didn't even realize was there!
I forgot to mention that you don't have to take Mira to the influence locations to turn her into a Jedi, which is nice.

Sorry for the delay in reply but you can certainly make them all Jedi in the vanilla version of the game. Super fun to do since you will have so many Jedis in the party. Makes it real nice when you have to make a party without your main character. Glad this was able to help you out! :)

Hey, CatDaddy Gaming. I just recently discovered Kotor 1 and 2, and just now stumbled onto this channel. Your content has been very helpful so far. I'd love it if you could make an influence guide for Kreia. Currently I'm on my second playthrough of TSL, and my goal this time was to gain a lot of influence with her so I could hear what she has to say on Revan and on her past. The first time through I made every single light side choice, so naturally I lost a lot of influence, and she wouldn't tell me anything when I went through the speech tree. I noticed that she responds well to the PC agreeing with her and generally treating her as the wise mentor, so I've been trying to do that, but I keep gaining and losing influence at the same time. So, yeah. Any advice would be appreciated! :)
These games are so awesome! Always love hearing that someone has started playing them and is enjoying it. That is a very good video idea. I have a few other ones I am working on but I will for sure add it to the list cuz I think that is a great idea. I think you have the right idea. You need to be a good little padawan and always listen to her and take her advice. I haven't experimented too much with Kreia and influence but I will for sure look more into it. I know on the Ebon Hawk she will bash the other companions and you can usually agree with what she says or pretend to only being using your companions for personal gain or to sacrifice and she will like that. She is that weird neutral but leaning more towards the Dark Side. Make sure to save your game VERY often and before you chat with her and you can quickly reload the game if you get a influence loss. I will see if I can find some more info about her influence locations.

@@CatDaddyGaming Update: for my last playthrough I took your advice, especially saving before conversations, and I managed to unlock a lot of stuff I hadn't before. I don't know if I unlocked _everything_ , which is why I'm trying again, with a DS male this time (last time I played LS female). I'm hoping I'll gain even more influence without my light side obligations getting in the way.
A word of advice for anyone else reading this: When you get to Nar Shaddaa, if you are playing light side, take Kreia with you until you meet the refugee near the landing pad who begs you for some credits and go through that interaction, then _remove_ her from your party afterward. Whether you choose to help the refugee or threaten him, Kreia will scold you, but neither choice will cause you to loose influence. To gain influence, you just have to agree to consider her advice. But if you take her with you into the city, you'll run into some more thugs harassing some guy who owes them money. I went through all the light side or neutral sounding options, but she got mad no matter what. I'm pretty sure she would get mad at the dark side ones too. So if you're super dedicated to gaining influence with Kreia, I would just avoid this interaction altogether. Also, don't loot bodies on Korriban after she tells you not to (lol).

That info will definitely be handy. Really glad to hear that the save trick is working out for you. It can save you so often. I always forget the right choice when getting Visas in the party and trying not to offend Handmaiden and this saves me every time. They did such a good job with the speech trees and having the choices and responses written. I think I have heard them all too but occasionally I will get some voice lines I swear I have never heard before lol. Amazing writing from the devs!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I've been playing this game for years. I got it when it first came out for the OG Xbox. I've beat the game several times over. Most of it was trial and error but Reddit did help a little when I decided to make the video. All the recorded footage was from me playing though. I made a new save slot everytime I saved so it was fairly easy to load up wherever in the game I needed to be to test out influence.

I remember manage to convert all character to light side except kreia.
But never manage to make all of them dark side, some will still be light side.
Perhaps the reason why I able to do it because of easier influence mod in workshop but idk
So I messed up and only managed to get handmaiden, bao durr and hand maiden as Jedi. I went to Dantooine, Onderon, Nar Shaddaa, Onderon, Korriban. This is not a good order for obvious reasons lol.
But also I think my game file was slightly corrupted as I normally play gray leaning light and do gain some dark side points here and there and all my companions sans Kreia were waaaay off the chart light side includinf HK47, Goto and Mandalore
Thank you so much! Gonna try this out. Out of curiosity, can you still trigger the “romance” with Visas if you ignore her until after Handmaiden is converted? (This is my first playthrough as male exile so I’m unfamiliar with what is needed to trigger that with Visas.)
I’m also using the restored content mod, if that matters.
@@RedStoanPhD I am not familiar with the entire romance sequences. I could be wrong but I think that they scrapped the romance features. There are some obvious speech options that hint towards the romance feature but in the end I believe it is just dialogue and only thing they left behind was the influence. You can still gets scenes of Handmaiden and Visas arguing over you but no further romancing other than them mentioning how much they want to be with you. There are some mods out there for romancing those companions but I have yet to try them out. I do believe you can still "romance" her after waiting until you convert Handmaiden though. Visas isn't stuck up like Handmaiden is lol
@@CatDaddyGaming alright cool, thank you. All I really knew was I saw a vid of gameplay that is “semi-romance” between Visas and exile (not full on like with Revan and Bastila though), but I don’t know whether that was modded content or normal. Guess I’ll find out soon!
I wonder why most of the romance got left on the cutting room floor... though to be fair, there is far more content in this game than in KOTOR I, and perhaps they just felt like it was too much.

I certainly will look into this. Classes are something I have been thinking about for a while now. I do plan on putting out a Planet Order or Planet Guide here very soon though!
I thought the handmaiden duels can be done each time you “beat” a planet by finding the Jedi master on it. Not level 12, 15, and 18

I want to do a Visas romance, but remain on the light side.
I play with RCM. I've always been able to convert Mira solely with the conversations aboard the Ebon Hawk. Great video. I love your content, it's good refreshment of my memory for my current playthroughs.
Edit: I'm currently on a female dark side consular/sith lord playthrough. I'm going to start a dark side marauder playthrough soon but I haven't decided if I'm going to do the classic route from a guardian or cross class route with a sentinel. Another thing I wanted to try is to get Mira for dark side. Would you happen to know the exact threshold of alignment I have to stay above to obtain Mira? I know she is stated as joining your part if you're light side or neutral. I want to get her then go full dark side from.
I am going to try to convert her just through conversation myself but it feels like I always need at least 1 influence gain with here. I am not sure the exact number but I would imagine, 0-40 is Lightsided, 40-60 is neutral, and 60-100 is Darksided. You probably couldn't be above 60 or you would get Han-Harr. This is just speculation also. The KSE may be able to tell you your exact alignment number too
@@CatDaddyGaming to get her to the conversion ready state you have to get the influence success where she agrees to be shown the Force on Nar Shadda at the central pit. I'm able to get her there with just her Ebon Hawk conversation branches. She is tricky because you have to two different branches in the same dialogue tree to get to conversion ready status. Just follow the same dialogue path twice, picking the two different options on each through line. I have a spreadsheet with all the influence gains and losses on my PC.
@@Keandros I will definitely try out her speech tree. Maybe I can get it on the next playthrough. That's awesome if you have a spread sheet with that information. I usually have to pour through 15 year old forums to confirm mechanics lol
Do you have to take the jedi master prestige class to train other jedis or can any of the classes do that?
You can train your companions to be Jedi regardless of class. You don't have to prestige your current class either. Just gotta make sure you gain influence with your companions and you will unlock more dialogue options to get them on the Jedi path.
Is there any way cuz I'm going to go to a playthrough in a couple of weeks you could slow it down in a slower step-by-step guide

Do you have to have Mira in your party when Traya talks about the force in Nar Shadda around three Cantina to gain the necessary influence?
No you do not. That part about the central pit from her is just for you as the exile. For Mira you just have to make sure you get the influence high enough so can ask the right questions. You will take Mira back to the central pit that Kreia shows you, but it won't matter if they are not together for both instances.

@@Blake_Aphra Yes. You have use the Central Pit in the process of converting her. You can still get the influence gains and conversations away from Nar Shaddaa but you will have to come back to the Central Pit to do the last step.
Is there any point to increase influence with the crew members who you've already turned into jedi i just turned Atton and I think I know most of his his backstory but I'm not sure if with more influence you can learn more or if I should get other characters influence up instead?
I am not 100% sure if there is more backstory on them after you convert them into Jedi. I will have to look into that a little bit more. And that is because once I turn them into Jedi I stop trying to get more influence with them. Usually by that point they are close to 100%. Once they are full on influence there will be no more back story to unlock. You can tell when you get them to 100% influenced cuz the cutscene will happen for them to get influence but the game will not prompt "Influence Gained". After that point there is no benefit to getting further influence with them.
Is there any way to gain influence over HK47 if you’re light side?
There certainly is but it may require you to do some dark sided actions since that is what HK47 likes. So there is some but you may have to eat a few dark side points to get the influence.
Nice dude you forgot about prestige class? You get it at level 15 right when you are level 15 go talk to kreia. And also if you are female you get disciple and you can also train him. Also you got discord?
I got it at level 18 right after I made Handmaiden a Jedi. I didn't know I could do it as early as 15 though, I usually go Jedi Master XD! I did do a darkside version with a female character where I covered converting him. I do have a discord, I'll put a link below, nothing fancy though!

I have a glich. I triggered all these conversations and when I went to nar shaddaa there's 2 Mira's and I can't get the conversation to make her a jedi. Love your videos btw
What!?!? 2 Mira's! That does sound pretty cool to see except for the not being able to convert Mira part lol do you have a relatively close save point you could reload and try again? Usually that is the trick when you run into issues like that. Just reload an earlier point and hope it doesn't happen again.
@@CatDaddyGaming I fixed it. When I would enter the area from the docks there'd be a cutscene where she's talking to a refugee, the nearest to leading pad. If Mira is in the party when this cutscene happens they'll be two, one in your party and the one who spawns for the cutscene. To avoid this glich just leave the landing pad alone, no party members and add Mira after the cutscene triggers to have the conversation by the pit to turn her into a jedi

How many points in awareness do i need for mira's speech path?
I think 11 or more. I will have a check my save files when I have the chance but I did see a few Reddit posts saying 11 was the amount needed for Mira dialogue trees.
Do you know if Mira has a set number of influence gain checks to be convertible like Bao-Dur does? I'm currently playing DS character but I was neutral/slightly light and went to Nar Shadaa first so I could get Mira then convert her to DS. She's maxed out DS, and I've gone through the entire dialogue checklist, and the influence check is still a Failure about taking her to Nar Shadaa the spot Kreia took you.
Sucks because I did this play through specifically to convert her and I don't think there's enough influence check missions left to convert her :( (my only planets left are Onderon/Dxun raid and Korriban/Droid Planet).

I messed up the other day and made Handmaiden not want to talk to me at all so I had to change some data manually or loose three hours of progress.
At least you could change the data. Gotta make sure to save constantly and in different slots!

I think everyone who hasn't looked up guides or videos on the game has done that. I had to play the game several times through before I could get every companion on the same run.

You can do this in all versions of the game! All the characters covered in this video and the darkside one are convertable in vanilla version

As long as you can get some more influence with him it isn't too late. Check out my other videos on the channel. I have one that goes over every influence location for the convertible companions. You still may be able to get some from the planets you completed. But there may be some you haven't come across yet.

It can be done in all versions! I was able to do this with my first copy of the game for the original xbox.
Could you still convert Atton if you don’t get the influence points on The Harbinger section of Peragus?
Most definitely. There are plenty more spots to gain influence with Atton if you miss some. You just need those first few if you want to convert him right on Nar Shaddaa as your first planet.

Thank you very much!! I love having as many Jedi as possible. Makes the party split on Dxun much nicer cuz you have 2 separate parties with 3 Jedi each.

Yes! There are a few on other planets but there are also a couple more on Nar Shaddaa too. Take only Mira, Atton and Bao Dur soak the influence, and heal the dying man in the Refugee Sector. Finishing the Lootra quest with Mira and Kreia in your party might trigger one too. Take Mira with you to Dxun, you will run into bounty hunters on Dxun and Onderon, at both spots stand up for Mira to gain some influence. One for each spot. You shouldn't need more than those, especially if you got all the dialogue influence gains. :)

quick question. does anyone know if you convert them all to jedi will you get a different ending? or will certain characters like Visas change events to cause a different ending?
Converting will not make for a different ending but there are a variety of events where certain choices will change parts of the game or ending. Gives the game great replayability!!

Once you leave Telos. You have to be playing as a male main character though. Female main characters will get a male companion from Dantooine instead.
If you make Bao-Dur a jedi will it tank his skill gains?
I believe you are correct. You will get less skill gains for him as a Jedi rather than a Tech Specialist. I may be wrong but I am pretty sure Tech Specialist gets more skills when leveling. You could put your skill points into Intelligence to get more skills per level but that would take more than a few level ups before you got it higher enough. Guess it depends on what your going for. If he is your skill user and crafter dude, then Tech Specialist would for sure be more useful, downside is you miss out on Jedi Powers if you still want to convert him later on.

Can you repair influence over handmaiden. I've always been training her and trying to gain influence and for no reason she's mad because of visas who I haven't even spoken to.
I know you can accidentally piss Handmaiden off by being nice to Visa when she joins the party, before you even chat with her. I will usually save right before Visa enters in case I mess up the speech choices. You can use KSE (Kotor Save Editor) to manually adjust companions influence, but I have heard of Visa and Handmaiden still giving players issues even after manually adjusting the Influence level. I know that is one way but make sure you makes backups of your saves if your going to mess with the save editor. Best bet is many many save points so you can go back and fix things you messed up on. Hope this helps!

Right when you get Visa in your party if you lose influence with Handmaiden just turn off and make a different choice so you don't lose influence with her. I did the part where the two dudes told me about art in and I confronted him, I passed the first influence check but failed the second and now it's not there all he talks about is that game, did I miss my chance?
You should still be able to bring up that part of the conversation again. If you failed the influence check you will need to gain some more influence with him. Probably only need one more gain if you got the first part no problem. You definitely didn't miss your chance though. You should be able to ask him again. Just try clicking through every conversation option. It is probably hidden behind a few questions about his past.
You also can’t be neutral. You have to be a certain percent light or dark side to convert people
Ok so i gotta ask why does everyone say Briana can only b converted at level 18? When i play as a male shes the first companion i convert and that's b4 i even beat any planet. I've heard you SHOULDNT because if her class feats but I've never had problems concerning levels.
I agree in always converting her. The Jedi feats will be better than any fighting feats she may get not going Jedi. At least that is my opinion. However, it never lets me spar with her the 3rd time until level 18. Maybe your doing something I have been missing or you have a good bug in your game lol. I have always had to wait until level 18 to get that final spar in and then I can convert her right after. Jedi Handmaiden totally worth the wait though!

You still trying for Bao Dur? You may have to remove the other party member to get it to trigger. Did you get all 3 speeder parts? You need those to fully repair the speeder.

Do you have low influence with them? If you have low influence and lose influence all the time, your companions will go the opposite of your alignment.

Sure does! Influence should be the same method for all versions.
I’m having a problem with bao dur I have like 3 + influence w him and the dialogue won’t pop up to train him I’ve ran through all the dialogue and now when I try to talk to him my only option is “never mind” I’ve tried to talk to him on Nar Shaadda Ebon hawk and dxun on and off the Ebon hawk. I’ve already got Mira and atton
Have you murdered dudes in front of him or lost influence along the way? Usually need an extra one or two influence on him if you go darkside. It will for sure happen on the Ebon Hawk, try getting one more if you can and then going straight to the Ebon Hawk. He should open with something along the lines of your presence affecting him. Not sure if this will work but you could try talking to Kreia, in other parts of the game chatting with her unlocks other stuff so worth a shot if its still not working.
Same problem, and speaking to kreia has no other options sadly and I'm playing light side

I always have him run through Telos and Nar Shaddaa with me and I can usually convert him on Nar Shaddaa. Maybe another influence or 2 will do the trick. Sucks not being able to use some spots for other companions though.

I've been trying to get hand maiden to be a Jedi but whenever I ask about atris it says influence failure and after I did all three fights I tried to tell her the the flows strong through the children of Jedi and just said failure help
So 2 things I can think of. 1st is have you made sure to get enough influence with her? You will need a few of them. There is a video on my channel that covers all the influence locations. 2nd is you have to chat with Kreia about Handmaiden. I can't remember exactly what she says about her but you do need to have that chat with Kreia and she will "warn" you about training her. Let me know if you are still having issues after those and I will do some digging around to see what I can find!

It is a mod from the Steam Workshop. Effixian's Bar Dur B Dark Start. It is very well done. There is also a version of it for the main character if you want to play as a Darth Maul looking Zabrak. Definitely check it out!

Nope. Just male to get Handmaiden and female to get Disciple. You can convert companions no matter your selected gender.

Someone know when the game decide whenever you get Mira or Hanharr? Sucks ass you can't make the wookie into a sith which was planned but scraped becaus of George Lucas.
Does the decision start as early as you land on Nar Shadaa, or somewhere during the story? Think Mira says different on the first cutscene on that planet like she sense your a sith or Jedi when you arrive.
Read through a few posts and think I may have an answer. From some other forums users I have read that it is right when you get the invite to meet in the Jekk-Jek Tar. It is entirely based off your alignment. So if you are more Lightsided when you get the message for the meeting, then Mira it is. But if can manage to get more Darksided before the meeting message triggers, then you get Han-Harr.
So once each companion has become a Jedi, can you turn them into Dark Jedi?
Yes you can. They will usually follow your alignment. Check my channel I have this same video but done on a Darkside run so you can see them looking all sith like. Handmaiden and Bao Dur will be the hardest to get darkside cuz they don't like darkside actions and are generally lightsided as characters.

There a quite a few more options. If you check my Kotor 2 Playlist I have a video that covers every influence opportunity for all Jedi companions. It will show you all the ones for Bao Dur.

Why aren't you using the high quality blasters remodel?
When I first got the game for Steam I just threw on the restord content and a few texture mods. After that I went super heavy on the mods and that is when I played through again with all the fancy ones. The footage was from my older playthroughs since I had all the save points backed up. So now most my footage does have them on but sometimes I need some clips from that playthrough. Maybe I'll have to do another lightside run for some fresher footage. The high quality blasters mods is fantastic. The textures are very well done!

The Mira cutscene won't trigger and there appears to be no opportunities left to add influence. Now what do I do?
Did you get all the dialogue options to trigger? Can you not get the Ebon Hawk lines to trigger where you ask about being restless and offer to show her the pit? There is another video on my channel that covers every influence gain spot for the companions.

Why thank you very much! :) I do agree that would be super cool. There is a glitch where you can make him a Jedi using a freshly converted companion. Can bug out your game but still cool to try out. I agree it would have been cool to influence him over to the Jedi ways.

Interesting! I know sometimes you need an extra influence or 2 with certain characters. Bao Dur is always iffy with me. Sometimes 3 influences work, sometimes I need the extra one. I have another video on my channel that goes over every influence spot for the Jedi capable companions. Try getting another influence gain with her and see if that does the trick.

How do you convert Handmadien to a Dark Jedi?
It is a little difficult but certainly possible. Just make sure you don't lose influence with her, and maybe gain some a time or 2. She prefers lightsided decisions which is unfortunate for making her Dark Side, make sure not to get too friendly with Visa too. You will just have to make her happy until you have her converted into a Jedi, then you can start doing Dark Side stuff and her alignment will start to match yours. Kind of like how you can make Bao-Dur a Dark Jedi but if you make Dark Sided choices he will still get upset. If you want to do the Dark Side choices just make sure Handmaiden isn't there to see and she won't lose influence.

@@thefourthcrusader2117 I will see if I can find some time for it or possibly squeeze it into another video, I got a few other projects in the works currently. It is pretty much the same steps for her as the lightside, just have to make sure she isnt with you when you do darkside point stuff. If you get around to trying for it you could remain neutral until converting her, then go heavy on the darkside points and she would start to go darkside with you.
