This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen on UA-cam. A true gem of performance art, music, dance, choreography, filming. Thank you.

Back in the day when you could watch late night Channel 4 and see some fucking amazing arty stuff. What happened to UK TV? It's just shitty american-style corporate garbage now.

I chose an eternity of this
    Like falling angels
    The world disappeared
    Laughing into the fire
    Is it always like this?
Flesh and blood and the first kiss
The first colors, the first kiss
We writhed under a red light
    Voodoo smile, Siamese twins
Girl at the window looks at me for an hour
    Then everything falls apart
Broken inside me, it falls apart
The walls and the ceiling move in time
Push a blade into my hands
    Slowly up the stairs
    And into the room
    Is it always like this?
    Dancing in my pocket
    Worms eat my skin
    She glows and grows
    With arms outstretched
    Her legs around me
    In the morning I cried
    Leave me to die
    You won't remember my voice
I walked away and grew old
You never talk, we never smile
    I scream, you're nothing
I don't need you any more
    You're nothing
    It fades and spins
    It fades and spins
Sing out loud, we all die
    Laughing into the fire
    Is it always like this?
    Is it always like this?
    Is it always like this?

I remember watching this as a 15 year old like it was yesterday. Riverside was on BBC2 I think. Slightly more of an arts programme than a music show. Great suff. P💜

    • @owzleee
      @owzleee Місяць тому +1

It was CH4 no? They used to have some amazing arts programmes late at night in the 80s. I think CH4 really created the foundations of who I am now. I was exposed to such WEIRDNESS and FABULOUSNESS.
