I can't imagine another "rock" band writing a song like this. It is so esoteric in its musical sensibilities and that raw emotion is out of this world. The reason a band like The Cure is so adored is due to their art that transcends mere entertainment. These are all the cryptic masterpieces one would return to time and time again.

People don't give Robert Smith enough credit for how remarkable his voice is. Listen closely. An amazing voice. And spectacular songwriting, of course.

Drums and bass generates firmly and professional rhytm and guitar makes that sweet melancholy which is trademark of most their songs.. Smith's voice is cherry on top of cake.. I could listen these songs all day long..
