1. You paid for the game. 2. You're not in any major tournament are you? It doesn't matter what difficulty you play on. It would kind of be impressive if you could beat it on Deity if the increase in difficulty actually made the AI better/smarter and didn't just give them like an 80% increase towards eveything.

I don’t know if I did something in my key bindings or something and forgot about it or if i got a lucky bug or if other people have this but left click doesn’t move my units unless i press the move unit button down near the promotions button first
I'm really confused. I've heard my friends complain about this to, but I haven't had any problem with left clicking causing unit movement. How exactly do you trigger this issue?
Hmm, this is a fun video, but also illustrates the main problems I think Civ 6 has left after all the genuinely wonderful patches we've recently gotten: the eras go by too fast, and compounding this is the lack of scaling difficulty. Alexander has no real ability to leverage his UUs on higher difficulties and even if he can, it is for far too short a time.
yeah, mods that slow down science and eras a bit are essencial for my enjoyment of the game currently, the difference in the feel of the game completely changes when each era is lasting 10 extra turns or more, and its specially nice for keep the tech inline with era progression as long as you arent going crazy on science that is.
Tbh potato is just greedy and eccentric, i like war after 2 or 3 cities max and tech up on a needs basis instead of playing greedy with cities and boosts.

Whether an expansion is next or a new base game, I'd like to see expanded diplomacy more than anything else. It needs to feel human. The grievances metric does a poor job of providing that feel along with the trade bonuses and other things which are a matter of math. You should be able to talk to another civilization about a war that they either just declared or are thinking about declaring - especially if it is against one of your allies or city-states for which you are suzerain. Something like a round table discussion and having the option to provide incentives for not going to war. The City-State emergency only comes into effect after a city-state has already been taken. Then just deeper dialogue and negotiations in general would be good. Like how about a long-term or regional cooperation strategy with one or more civs and then getting rewards for achieving them together? Rather than just inviting to a war or having the defensive pact, agreeing on a long-term strategic goal for expansion, or perhaps war, or similar pursuits of science, culture or religion with periodic "progress" meetings and options to provide something that helps your partner in those goals and vice versa. A lot of the mechanics and gameplay balance is very good and McWhiskey has commented on that. I agree. But that next level of enhanced diplomacy would really draw people in I Think and give a much more personal feel to the world inside the game. And this would apply for games against only AI or all human games.
Here’s an idea for a vid: try and win every victory type within the same game. So, when you win one, select one more turn and win another before anyone else does etc.
