    Three unknown singers with instrumental trio.
    Obviously styled after the Smoothies, this British trio recorded a few titles for the Rex label in the late 1930s, and that's all I can tell you about them. Until the war broke out, they did a radio show for Radio Luxembourg, which might explain their popularity on the continent (of which this Hungarian pressing is a witness, too).

    I'm pretty sure my father Harry Phillips, now deceased, is one of the boyfriends. We did know he was in a vocal group as above in the 30s. He was also a pianist and a composer for dance bands. His biggest hit being Goodnight Children Everywhere for Vera Lynn. Sue was Suzanne Botterill, his fiancée at the time. Not sure who the second boyfriend was. Never heard anything by them before. How extraordinary yo have a recording. Fantastic. Thanks
