So over all I really like the new JBL Partybox 310. Its rocking both cosmetic and performance improvements from the JBL Partybox 300 that just makes it easier to transport and it also sounds a little better as well. Now obviously the Partybox 310 is very different from the JBL Boombox 2 but people want to know how they stack up against one another.

Your recording made the Partybox 310 sound like one of those Sony speakers, with ZERO deep bass, and very muffled highs... your content is good man, but please buy a binaural microphone and put the speaker in a place where it gets a neutral frequency response from the room...

The 310 isn’t muddy is just that it’s not possible to record the true sound of a loud speaker without binaural microphones

The partybox app makes up for that with the new EQ. You can dial in and make it sound much better, or use an aftermarket EQ as well. Now it sounds AMAZING.
I bought the boombox 2, and I’m really happy with it. I like it cause it is much more portable and it sounds great and gets loud. I also like how it is waterproof but I never feel like I’d use that anyway. The only complaint I have is that after 80% volume, the bass doesn’t increase, just the miss and highs. It’s still really great and I’d recommend it to someone who wants a more portable partybox 310. And yes the boombox 2 is better than the partybox on the go

I purchased the JBL 310 and I'm very satisfied. Sounds great! I purchased the Sony XB60 first and it sounded horrible. I might still buy a Marshall Tufton since it's in the same price range but a little more portable. I love JBL but I also love Marshall products. We'll see which one sounds better.

Some issues which a sponsored video wont tell you. Have owned the PB310 for a couple of months, CONS-
1. The speaker sound drastically decreases when played on battery.
2. The speaker doesnt even last 6 hours with full volume with all lights turned off.
3. Charging time is 8-9 hours which is way longer for such a short playback time.
4. Body is made of low grade plastic so it gets scratched even when it comes in contact with simple surfaces.
If playing on battery for long hours is your priority, which should be for a portable speaker with advertised battery life of 18 hours, this is not for you. Utterly disappointed.

I have 2 party box 1000 and just bought party box 100 , worth boom box 2 ? I have onyx studio 6 smaller but idk if boom box 2 is better
I have both boombox2 and onyx6, onyx6 is great for its size, 3kgs and good bass, however the boombox2 is just superior to it with roughly 6kgs and great battery but ofcourse coming with a bigger size, though to get good battery life outdoors from those speakers then turn down lowest frequencies in your equalizer. on max volume Ive had maybe 4 hours+ on onyx and 6-10 hours on boombox2. Ofcourse depending on the music etc. However, in terms of price onyx in SE costs 25% of the boombox2 so in terms of value onyx is very good value for the money

No, you won't hurt it. These JBL's are capped from the manufacturer. I play all of mine full volume all the time at parties plugged. I have 2 partybox 100, 2 partybox 310, a charge 5, and a pulse 2.

No.. you could only change the EQ settings on your phone like on Spotify or some other apps...but that's annoying tbh. The settings you have on top are just for the mic you can plug in
...ok I mean you do have two bass boost settings one for lower bass and one that pushes the "higher bass"

Según el si tu interés es poder moverlo a donde sea fácilmente boombox 2 es mejor, pero si estás interesado en mucho mejor calidad de audio y más volumen e igualmente portable el JVL 310 es la mejor opción, al final los precios son bastante similares la realidad el boombox 2 tiene muchas mejores revisiones que JVl 310 creó que es básicamente xque el boombox está pensado para público común y el JVL 310 es mas revisado por Dj que buscan equipos de calidad para poner música en locales y este público tiende a ser más específicos y estrictos en sus necesidades.

It sounds more crisp because the 310 had the bass boost 2 on which makes the mids sound a bit muddy. Whereas the boom box can’t produce near the amount of bass so ur hearing mostly mids and highs from it.

@Tweed Penguin btw even the pb 100 on 10 meters is 100x louder than the BB2. The BB2 loses the sounds extremely outside, and the bass too. The JBL pb100 can be heared way more, and the bass is way better.
