As a long time “Disney Kid” (my mom worked at the Park for 53 years) I remember fondly the Coke Corner piano. Rod, Stan and David were always there watching over my brothers and I until Mom got off work when we got tired of riding rides. This brings back some great memories.
I've looked all over youtube for a good version of this song, and I've finally found it. Everyones covers are boring and nobody seems to want to put some stank on it, but this guys version is EXACTLY what I was looking for!
i met this guy on tuesday! he is hecka bomb on the piano and my friends and i were watching him longer than we were in the space mountain line! he is living proof of disneyland magic.
Jonny is not only extremely talented--he is also a very nice person. So glad you had a chance to play the piano...wish I could have seen--(and heard) it.
Jonny, is a marvelous composer as well as a brilliant pianist. Not sure if he has a website--- So glad you enjoyed his rendition of Cruella-It’s one of my favorites! Jackie
Jonny does quite a bit of composition. I do believe this is his personal take on Cruella. I have forwarded your note to him because he currently is taking on new students. I'm sure he would be delighted to offer you lessons. He and his wife are both piano teachers
@denero21 He is absolutely amazing, and truly a nice person as well. He makes it a point to spend time with children who are impressed with his playing. He asks them if they are taking lessons and lets them play if they'd like to try piano with an audience. I hope he has inspired future pianists. I really think he has!
Okay, this guy needs to make a CD. I would totally buy this version of cruella de vil (but sadly all I can find are disney pop teen versions or fan versions). Disney needs to get this guy to make an official CD of popular disney songs on piano: guaranteed to sell like hot cakes.
