Great you're keeping the fantastic banjo playing of over a century ago alive. Would love to hear old folks at home the way vess ossman played it.

That was amazing! In 1985 I bought a Scott Joplin Maple Leaf Rag 12 inch vinyl. I still own it! What a great song
Every note perfection.
My favorite Joplin Rag, in a completely new (to me) format! Well done!
The combination of banjo and ukulele for this classic rag is very beautiful.
Congratulations to Aaron and Carrie whom I greet from Sardinia
Your beard sir is immaculate as is your playing. I loved this rendition!
Well done. Great musicianship. Absolutely fantastic & how good it is to see the affection between the players. Not sure if they are in a relationship but if marriage could be this good I'd certainly give it another go.
Fantastic! Well played both. Love it :)
Aaron's playing of this classic rag is immaculate as always, but adding the baritone uke makes this performance perfect. Carrie has a great sense of time and really nails the comping on this. I commend you both, amazing.
I drive by the site of the Maple leaf club every day, played as child in the ruins of george r smith college, you bring honor to Joplin, you guys are great!

Hey man love your style , do you have any tips for a beginner banjo player to playing the ragtime style ???
He is playing what’s called “classic” banjo style. Not necessarily classical music, it refers to the fingering style popular from around 1885-1920. Google videos by using the term “classic banjo” or the recording artist Fred Van Eps.
Thanks, and sure -- I have a playlist for beginning classic banjo: ua-cam.com/play/PLHNRyddU-ceqlJ0ecjqYrpaF73QjsDkCK.html I am also available for one on one lessons (online or in person), email me for more info -- aaronjonahlewis [at] gmail.com

That is great. Have a tab arrangement by Sokolow. Would like to see this in nototation or tab.

I honestly had no idea Roy Keane could play banjo like that.
Bravi!!
Niiice. ! Is that a big Ukelele or a little guitar ?
Fun fact: maple leaf rag has lyrics
Just very great. Pretty lady, great beard.
👏👏👏
Interesting, as the syncopation in piano was, I understand, borrowed from the banjo, for which syncopation comes out natural.
I thought ragtime was played on four sting banjo?
Man, HOW do you sleep with this beard? I gave up, personally.
Why am I getting Huck Fin /Tom Sawyer vibes 😂
Paddle faster!, I hear a banjo and guitar upriver. Nice performance.
