Even if i couldn't explain why, i think this version is more beautiful than the "Canon in C" or "in D". These things does happens, with art. We often couldn't explain it but we feels better with a piece than with another, from the same genius artist.
This version is more quiet and melancholy than the D major version... that one is more peppy and joyful sounding. The C major (my least favorite of the three) is more bold but less expressive.

I first heard that song memories on the radio and I thought "This sounds a lot like a remix of canon in d", Although I never really liked that because it only included parts of the song, and the original canons will always be a lot better than the modern remixes.
This version sounds more nostalgic/melancholic to me. For one thing it makes me think of Vitamin C's song "Graduation." Another thing is it makes me think of an old married couple reminiscing on how they got together. Funny how playing the same song in different keys can evoke different moods.
Don't play c bacause its "easy", that will make you useless (unless you really want to play the c one because you like it), and one more thing, please, make you goal a difficut piece (idk "La Campanella" or "Ballede no.1 in g minor") and make canon the first step of hundreds of steps.
I can imagine, at a graduation, the staff having a video of all this students, from preschool to the week before graduation with everything inbetween set to this piece. Every person would shed a tear or a million

Tina Love it's the key signature, it determines how many sharps or flats there are in a bar of any given piece of music. So the key of C Major has no flats or sharps, they key of B minor has 2 sharps.
I don't understand as well, does the pitch of b key lower than the d? Cause playing in key B like it's lower than the D one but in the note B is higher than D. Or it doesn't really matter just about the main key is on B.
