I think I heard a rumor that if you collected enough poop you could get a special poop (probably golden or something) that would be worth a ridiculous amount of coins... I obviously tried it, but all I got was amusment from my brother and dismay from my sister :/ I'm from Finland if it matters :)
OOOH I REMEMBER THAT My classmates used to call me dumb for cleaning my pou saying that I "wouldn't get the baby pou" but I always thought it was dumb 😅
I feel like Pou was one the last games where playground rumors were a thing, I remember all the "how to get a second Pou by letting the it poop a hundred times" talk lol
In elementary school, a substitude teacher (she was pretty young, around 30) had downloaded Pou on her phone and played it on breaks and i remember me and bunch of my schoolmates giving her tips and tricks while watching her play. Sure was an odd bonding experience but it was nice.
I'm not gonna correct your spelling because I really like the very 90's/early 00's concept of a "substitude" teacher- a substitute with attitude, who roller skates into the class wearing sunglasses and a backwards baseball cap, saying things like SIKE! And NOOOT! in a super obnoxious way. (I bet all the kids would just cringe their way into just behaving themselves and nor saying a damn thing unless they wanted to get the human version of Poochie to do literally anything and they cringe themselves to the Shadow Realm.) Your story is very cute, sorry I didn't mean to make fun of it - it was just such a strong mental image I got I had to share 😅

Believe it or not, those "Pou knockoffs" you've mentioned have a fanbase. Also, Pou was temporarily deleted in December 2019 for an update. People went mad when they saw their beloved game go.
It was the best feeling going to my grandmas house, eating apple pie and playing pou on her kindle. Grandma would often help me with the games and collect coins when i wasn't there because she grew to liking it. Sometimes my cousin would come and we would make a challenge of who could dress pou up the most ridiculous (he always won) I really miss those days, grandma also had a ps2 and played super bust a move 2 with me, she would always position the pointer and tell me when to shoot the bubble She was the coolest grandma on earth Miss you oma
my cousin and i used to play this game all the time as young kids, and they used to like to tell me of an urban legend where if you neglected pou for too long or kept him awake too long, you could come back to the game and there'd be a tombstone/empty screen (presumably pou having either moved on to greener pastures/ or "moved on"). that shit kept me awake at night.
People in my class were obsessed with it around 2012-2014. There was a rumor going around that you'd get a second Pou if you leave enough of his poops lying around lol. Also on a class trip our phones got confiscated and people had absolute meltdowns bc they thought their Pou will die.
i literally just discovered this channel and it all just feels like a surreal yet enjoyable mix and mash of brain matter, a documentary on the story of goddamn pou made by a woman with a unique fashion sense and hair that seems to vary in almost every upload in a room full of garfield merchandise
Pou was basically the only thing that got me to stay alive when I had unalive feelings in secondary school because if I died, he would have no one to look after him ! That's a weird repressed memory you just unlocked... edit : thank you all for the kind messages and now I'm totally fine, it was a long time ago
God, I loved Pou. I have so many memories of being on the subway, crowded on all sides, and making sure my Pou was well fed and healthy. RIP to my Pou who died when I dropped my phone !
Great video as always, just one observation: the hunger potion isn't for pure sadism, it's for grinding. Like, you fill pou with a bunch of food, then when it starts refusing to eat you give it the hunger potion, then repeat. From what I remember this isn't really an effective method of grinding, but if you wanna be a tryhard (on a pet game out of all things) yet also don't have patience for the minigames, then it's there.
at this point we need a whole Virtual Pet Site Retrospective in general talking about the absolutely insane world of virtual pet sites and the deeply strange drama it all attracts
@@poixon_asherzzz 101 Dino also had a PC version and got a sequel (also one for the 3Ds). I got the PC version as in extra with some cornflakes which was a great deal.
I remember when everyone was in on the conspiracy that Pou could die and tried to do it themselves. I remember there were whole tutorials and everything
My Boo is a game that lives in my nightmares, I remember playing that game so much back in the day💀 I’m glad it was mentioned here cause I for the life of me couldn’t remember what it was called, but I did remember something about Pou seeming similar to something in my childhood and then there it was
Pou is very nostalgic. It was the time when I was popular in high school -- with my kid family members. They take turns to "take care" of the little critter who I just found out now is an alien. Pou will always be a poop to me. Also I say Pou as Pou. :> Oh and that fuzzy head wear is comfy and cute as heck and the makeup is on point!
I’ll never forget the sound he made when you tried to feed him and he wasn’t hungry. It still plays in my head whenever I say “meh” or try a food I don’t like 😭
All these weird childhood memories really made me think of the obscure tv shows I was OBSESSED with as a kid, from 'Sagwa, the Chinese Siamese Cat' to 'Growing up Creepie' (why was the praying mantis mom so pretty???) and 'Tutenstien'. Honestly I feel like there's an untapped market for those shows. A deep dive would honestly be so cool!!🕴Amazing video as always!
Had no idea it costed money! I had it on my mom’s old Samsung and my family found the “talking Pou” feature so hilarious. It honestly still is an inside joke in my family. I still have it downloaded on my iPad mini and every once in a while check in on it.
I didn't know Pou was popular to English speaking audiences lol, it is monstrously known in Latin America and I was actually a kid when it came out, so me and all my classmates played it Some of the most common experiences regarding Pou around here are either trying to kill it or trying to get it a baby, both of those obviously myths, don't know if it's a Latin American thing or an universal experience Also, here we pronounce it just as Izzzyzzz does, whoever says it as "poo" can leave Unrelated but as a suggestion: I think a video about Pony Town would be great :D I've played it ever since 2018 and think It'd be a good topic bc of its big relationship with fandom culture :3
I was never into this game, and I thought it was "poo" mostly a UA-camr I watched as a kid would make jokes about it and pronounced it as "poo" (the joke wasn't the word poo though). I always interpret the word "po" as being pronounced as izzzyzzz says. 2 O's is usually a long sound like "look" or "rooster". 1 O is short like "open" or "abandon". But English is a non-sensical nightmare so...
creo que es bastante latinoamericano porque la mayoria teníamos android en el celular y era el juego más facil y barato de jugar (no tenia anuncios!!! era genial!!!) buenisimo)
My sister and i downloaded pou for our mother a couple months back, because i was moving out (my sister already left) so she wouldnt get so lonely, and felt like she was caring for something, cause she loved tamagochi back in the day. Surprisingly it worked! We get pou updates every time we call.
I mean this is nice but you know she’s an adult who can take care of herself and who should be able to find entertainment on her own right? Being an empty nester is awesome in a lot of ways and I’m sure she’s been planning for it.
I miss my pou so much. I created him back in 2014-2015 and found him after 7 years. I contacted the official email twice, to get access to my old account, but sadly nothing ever happend in the last 2 years. Its sad, but maybe some day, there will be active devs again, and even a functional email adress.
There’s something about Izzzyzz’s voice, esthetic, nostalgia content, and video production/editing that bring such a sense of calm and joy. Always a good day when a video drops. 😌
I’ll never forget Pou seemingly bringing everyone in my school together. I remember kids from all kinds of social circles showing off and comparing their little guys and their houses to anyone willing to listen. People would share tips on how to get money fast in order to buy that one accessory you just had to have.
I was freaking out for the first 10 minutes cause this game felt SO FAMILIAR but foreign at the same time?!? Once you mentioned my boo I was so calm. That’s what I played growing up lol
I was 10 years old in 2012, but this is somehow my first time ever hearing of pou despite its immense popularity. I guess it just goes to show how much selling out extends your reach as a mobile game. Props to the creator for never losing the vision of what he wanted Pou to be.
I remember finding my elementary school phone couple years ago whilst visiting my family and mostly all of the texts between me and my buddies were us updating what level our Pous are.... I'd give anything to get to live those precious moments again
I played My Boo and didn't even know this was the inspiration 😯 The only reason I stopped playing was because an update reset all my progress. I still think about it saying "boo boo" to this day...
Oh my goodness I LOVE Pou! My friend and I still mimic the ‘No!’ Pou says when he doesn’t want anymore food! This was such a treat :) awesome job as always!
When I was kid, it was so cool to have Pou, all girls around me played it, but I couldn't download it. When I got a phone, that could, I was so happy. I don't remember seeing the design as cheap and easy, but more like clean and simple to use and understand. I knew the games here aren't original, but I really liked these clean versions. It all had the same style and I found that satisfying.
I swear every video you post unlocks another piece of my childhood that I had completely forgotten about. I love it so much. Watching your videos always makes me feel so nostalgic
I remember playing Pou in high school, just after it came out, it's so nostalgic 😭 I was way too introverted, and spent the breaks caring for Pou and beating my highscores in the minigames, before I actually got friends and forgot about him. Sorry, Pou.
The title and thumbnail of this absolutely TRANSPORTED my ass back to middle school. I was so diligent with taking care of my pou, actually got it to a pretty high level but.... sadly the day came where I deleted the app. My Pou lives on in my heart to this day
Damn...I'm so old. I never heard of this game ever. Listening to Izzy is like having an alien trying to explain its homeworld's culture to me through a bad auto translator. I kinda understand what's happening, but I'm mostly very confused and have no frame of reference for anything. Still, I keep coming over to learn more and more. Another fun video! Thanks Izzy!
I was, I think, just a little too old for this at the time. I remember one of my younger cousins or a son of a family friend talking about it but never had any connection to it in my school lmao... So bizarre.
I was super into Pou when it was popular. I had my very first smartphone when it launched and I hold it as a dear memory to this day. Also, it is really funny to hear that your family was also into Pou because it became an inside joke in mine as well. To this day my dad sometimes imitates the high pitched "no". Guess Pou really was family friendly :D (Also I pronounce it like... "Poo" because I am german I didn't really know the English meaning behind at that age)
My mom, sister, and I used to play Pou all the time! We would crack up at the "no!" And the noise the notifications would make. I'll have to bring this up next time mom and I get together, I'm sure she will be delighted
I used to play pou on my mom's thick laptop. I remember myself gaming on the minigame where food would fall from the sky and dressing it up "so cool" to take his pet for a walk. Such great memories
Oh I'm so jealous you have the MLP Hidden Dissectables! They're definitely my favorite pony figures on the market, and so on-brand for your channel! Wonderful video as always! ❤️
I remember was obsessed with temple run, Fruit Ninja, Flappy Bird, Angry Birds, Talking Angela but My Fav was always Pou when I was younger I remember trying to save up to color mine and get eyelashes and outfits for mine lol
I remember having Pou on both of my parents Ipads because I didn't want to have to share custody with my sister for the one, idk why it hooked me so much - this little trangular creatcher, but i loved him, the soccer game was one of my faves
For some reason this game really scared me as a kid. I thought Pou's design was really creepy, and the design of his poops, and I especially freaked out at the noise that played when you lost a minigame. Weird times Edit: I played MyBoo a lot more lol. Because I actually liked the visuals
As a Lebanese, I believe the correct pronunciation is [pu] since in Lebanon, most of us speak French as a second or third language and in French "ou" is pronounced [u] as in "you" or "rubi" or "cool"... Further more, "Pou" in French translates to "Lice" in English, so I, and most poeple I know who played the game always thought the alien was a lice... P.S. Paul Salameh's other games are hilarious, thank u for mentioning them and talking about him, gr8 video :)
Pou holds a dear memory in my childhood, my parents own a coffee shop and my old phone was there so my parents could contact the workers (I got a new phone). There was one game on this phone - Pou, and every time I came with my parents to this coffee shop, they would let me play pou on my (now located in the shop) old phone. I remember even workers having to listen to me talking about the little guy I was taking care of every day lol, I have so many memories of it, what a great video!!
I remember my younger cousins used to have this on their tablet and being obsessed. We all used to pronounce the name as "pow" too! At the time me and my sibling didn't have anything to play app games on so anytime they came over it was a treat getting to mess around with their high level pou
Maybe you could look into the Petz games? I played one of the earliest versions so much as a kid, and this made me think about it. I looked up a video on YT now which was a Demo Video from 1998, and the pets are so interactive and complicated(in a great way) !? Young me didn't even know all of it. Personalities, learning tricks, interacting with other pets, and more. Would love to hear more about the games, what happened with them, and your thoughts on them 🤩🌸
I love your videos so much, because they often cover media that I grew up around but never interacted with. Pou is another one of those things that I vehemently ignored as a kid/teen because I just found them aesthetically displeasing and tbh had a tendency towards elitism when digital media (and the internet) became mainstream. I had been on Neopets way pre-Viacom and adopted the internet before anyone else in my age group.. when apps became something that the snobs in my class had, I was OVER IT lol.
for some reason anytime izzzyzzz uploads something that i played with/knew as a kid i have to take a couple days to prepare myself to watch them.... the videos are never bad or make me cringe, its just the memories that do lol
Oh my god marry me I just studied for an hour and I needed a pause exactly the length of this video I love you. Also like, if you ever see this, your presentation skills are immaculate, I could listen to you talk about the history of vacuum cleaners
I remember downloading the wacky blob game after it became a phenomenon at my elementary school. Although the hype died in a couple months it was still fun, all of my friends taking turns to play the mini games on one phone. At a friend’s birthday party we even decorated shirts with Pou and I kept it for years. Fun memories. Also we always called it Poah :))
I absolutely LOVED this game as a child. Pou still holds up to this day and a few months ago i redownloaded it. Its almost part of my daily routine to check on him. Great retrospective!
Not gonna lie, I only installed Pou on my phone back then because I was ACTIVELY trying to kiII it. I had such deep hatred for that thing for no reason and I still do now. This video has revived my bIoodIust
I love this game, a childhood icon Also I headcanon that the Pou alien species are actually shapeshifters. They can transform into a monstrous version of a specific plant, which is their true form; they hide it with the iconic form as to not terrify their caretakers and friends. My Pou can transform into a giant Dandelion-like alien, but others of their kind have unique forms based on different flower species. (I think another one can become a rose alien) Hey, it said Pou is an alien pet. It never specified what type of alien (trope) they were.
it would kinda make sense, if the we think of pou as a seed! an alien plant species who's "tame form" is a seed while their "true form" is a flower creature. interesting
When I got my first smartphone I was so excited because I was finally able to download Pou. My half sister was visiting and even though she was a lot older we played together. I spend a lot of time caring for it, but slowly grew bored of it. I remember my step brother had his hacked and he had infinit money lol. Good times!
I would love if you talked about the history of Gaia Online! I was obsessed with it and it has gone through some fun eras, including their matchmaking thing.
one of my classmates from middle school was obsessed with pou and never cleaned up his pou, so it was surrounded by its own mess all the time, i felt very bad for him LMAO
Yeeees, core memory unlocked XD I think I remember getting Pou in 2012 or 2014- I was notoriously awful at taking care of any kind of virtual pet (my Pou absolutely looked like that miserable Pou meme most of the time) I had powerful flashbacks seeing the car mini game, and the ball you could bounce for Pou that would slowly escape the pull of gravity. Stellar video, 15/10!
I grew up with pou, my mum loved her pou as she used to play it everyday she could and enjoyed making it her own. I have had the app on most my devices as it’s helped me stay alive and kept me distracted through dark moments. I have pou on my phone currently and it proved the best fun when I was on my summer break
Brings back memories of being in the local theatre dressing room with friends playing on your phones before your ballet preformance😌 I miss those times...

Man, Pou was one of my childhood games along with others back in the 2010’s (when app stories were freaking bangers and actually good!) I remember playing the game when I was little and those were some good memories. I’ll love you to do a series on other mobile app games from the 2010’s, for my recommendations I think you should cover either Angry Birds, Talking Tom, or Temple Run but that’s just me.

I think I heard a rumor that if you collected enough poop you could get a special poop (probably golden or something) that would be worth a ridiculous amount of coins...
I obviously tried it, but all I got was amusment from my brother and dismay from my sister :/
I'm from Finland if it matters :)
OOOH I REMEMBER THAT
My classmates used to call me dumb for cleaning my pou saying that I "wouldn't get the baby pou" but I always thought it was dumb 😅
I feel like Pou was one the last games where playground rumors were a thing, I remember all the "how to get a second Pou by letting the it poop a hundred times" talk lol
I HEARD THAT AS WELL. Also that it could explode if you fed it too much... I was so scared but also highly tempted at that time
The amount of "how to kill pou" videos is insane
omg i remember believing that rumor
My mom loved this game. She would sometimes ask me how to feed it, wash it, play games, etc. I Miss you, mom.
In elementary school, a substitude teacher (she was pretty young, around 30) had downloaded Pou on her phone and played it on breaks and i remember me and bunch of my schoolmates giving her tips and tricks while watching her play. Sure was an odd bonding experience but it was nice.
That’s so adorable lol.
(I bet all the kids would just cringe their way into just behaving themselves and nor saying a damn thing unless they wanted to get the human version of Poochie to do literally anything and they cringe themselves to the Shadow Realm.)
Your story is very cute, sorry I didn't mean to make fun of it - it was just such a strong mental image I got I had to share 😅

Believe it or not, those "Pou knockoffs" you've mentioned have a fanbase.
Also, Pou was temporarily deleted in December 2019 for an update. People went mad when they saw their beloved game go.
There was a “mou” for windows phones 😂
It was the best feeling going to my grandmas house, eating apple pie and playing pou on her kindle. Grandma would often help me with the games and collect coins when i wasn't there because she grew to liking it. Sometimes my cousin would come and we would make a challenge of who could dress pou up the most ridiculous (he always won)
I really miss those days, grandma also had a ps2 and played super bust a move 2 with me, she would always position the pointer and tell me when to shoot the bubble
She was the coolest grandma on earth
Miss you oma
What a lovely memory!
Coolest grandma ever!
Man, your Oma sounds like the coolest grandma ever!♥
OMG NOT SUPER BUST A MOVE, CUZ SAME, I NEVER HEARD ANYONE MENTION IT BEFORE
Semi unrelated, but I've never seen someone who called the grandmother Oma before! It's cool :)
never would I expect a Pou retrospective be something that I click on
lmfao fr
Same, brb gonna get pou again
my cousin and i used to play this game all the time as young kids, and they used to like to tell me of an urban legend where if you neglected pou for too long or kept him awake too long, you could come back to the game and there'd be a tombstone/empty screen (presumably pou having either moved on to greener pastures/ or "moved on"). that shit kept me awake at night.
People in my class were obsessed with it around 2012-2014. There was a rumor going around that you'd get a second Pou if you leave enough of his poops lying around lol.
Also on a class trip our phones got confiscated and people had absolute meltdowns bc they thought their Pou will die.
hey there
XD
This was my whole childhood while having my first actual phone
Yess!
Same, I remember playing this on my Samsung Galaxy S3 with Pokemon themed app launcher as a 13 y/o xD

i literally just discovered this channel and it all just feels like a surreal yet enjoyable mix and mash of brain matter, a documentary on the story of goddamn pou made by a woman with a unique fashion sense and hair that seems to vary in almost every upload in a room full of garfield merchandise
exactly, it's so random and i love it
@@alanalino4554 Me too!
Pou was basically the only thing that got me to stay alive when I had unalive feelings in secondary school because if I died, he would have no one to look after him ! That's a weird repressed memory you just unlocked...

Hopefully everything is okay
i’m glad you’re still here :)
That is adorable in a sad way.
I'm not sure if that's depressing, or..
i mean, same sort of?

"Also I say Pou as Pou. :>" Which pronunciation?
I’ll never forget the sound he made when you tried to feed him and he wasn’t hungry. It still plays in my head whenever I say “meh” or try a food I don’t like 😭
I loved Pou when I was a kid playing it on my mums phone in 2012. I remember that you could visit other peoples pou’s, too 😊
Pou looks super simple in still images, but it's so animated!
This took some time and talent to do.
i love that Pou doesn’t have any dark sides or controversies 😭❤️
Except for the ripoff games.
I grew up with this little guy in 2014-2017 and came back in 2022 just to see him again… NOW HES ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA AND IDK WHY
I watched Sagwa when I was little! I dint really remember any of it, but my mom says it was one of my favorites.
OMG I'm glad that someone else remembers Turenstein, that was one of my fave childhood cartoons :D
Discovery Kids was so slept on

@@toothfairy10133 Oh!! I did! thank you so much!!
Had no idea it costed money! I had it on my mom’s old Samsung and my family found the “talking Pou” feature so hilarious. It honestly still is an inside joke in my family. I still have it downloaded on my iPad mini and every once in a while check in on it.
OMG my boo 😭 I remember playing pou but I really loved my boo the most
I didn't know Pou was popular to English speaking audiences lol, it is monstrously known in Latin America and I was actually a kid when it came out, so me and all my classmates played it
Some of the most common experiences regarding Pou around here are either trying to kill it or trying to get it a baby, both of those obviously myths, don't know if it's a Latin American thing or an universal experience
Also, here we pronounce it just as Izzzyzzz does, whoever says it as "poo" can leave
Unrelated but as a suggestion: I think a video about Pony Town would be great :D I've played it ever since 2018 and think It'd be a good topic bc of its big relationship with fandom culture :3
omg yes ponytown would make such a good retrospective
Pou was popular in my europe as well, not just english speaking countries or latin.
Pou es parte de la experiencia latina
I used to be obsessed with this game when I was younger 😭 I'm so glad you're making a vid on it
I’ll never forget Pou seemingly bringing everyone in my school together. I remember kids from all kinds of social circles showing off and comparing their little guys and their houses to anyone willing to listen. People would share tips on how to get money fast in order to buy that one accessory you just had to have.
I would be playing this in church on my grandmas Amazon kindle fire. It was an absolute bomb.
Frl all the games on a grandmas kindle were fire
I was freaking out for the first 10 minutes cause this game felt SO FAMILIAR but foreign at the same time?!? Once you mentioned my boo I was so calm. That’s what I played growing up lol
I'm an absolute Pou fan. A friend of Paul Salameh told me that Pou 3D (or Pou 2) is 50% developed. Also yes new updates are coming as well.
I played My Boo and didn't even know this was the inspiration 😯
The only reason I stopped playing was because an update reset all my progress. I still think about it saying "boo boo" to this day...
Oh my goodness I LOVE Pou! My friend and I still mimic the ‘No!’ Pou says when he doesn’t want anymore food! This was such a treat :) awesome job as always!
this game had a chokehold on my little brother and his friends for a good while😆 can't wait to learn more about it haha
Sorry, Pou.
Egg Baby was the BEST Pou imitator I was obsessed
Same here lol
As a fellow old, I respect your willingness to try and learn more about the bizarre youth nerd culture we missed out on.
I was, I think, just a little too old for this at the time. I remember one of my younger cousins or a son of a family friend talking about it but never had any connection to it in my school lmao... So bizarre.
me but reversed
Just think. Theres now an entirely new generation that Izzy probably feels is alien to her in the same way her generation is alien to you. WIld.
11:06 oh my god I had completely forgotten that Google+ was a thing!!! Lmao
I was super into Pou when it was popular. I had my very first smartphone when it launched and I hold it as a dear memory to this day. Also, it is really funny to hear that your family was also into Pou because it became an inside joke in mine as well. To this day my dad sometimes imitates the high pitched "no". Guess Pou really was family friendly :D
(Also I pronounce it like... "Poo" because I am german I didn't really know the English meaning behind at that age)
i say poo too
Non UK Europeans unite
My mom, sister, and I used to play Pou all the time! We would crack up at the "no!" And the noise the notifications would make. I'll have to bring this up next time mom and I get together, I'm sure she will be delighted
0:17 OH SHOOT MY TAMAGOTCHI-
I used to play pou on my mom's thick laptop.
Weird times
Edit: I played MyBoo a lot more lol. Because I actually liked the visuals
My friend had MyBoo on her phone because she didn't like the fact that pou looked like a poo.
6:51 missed poutions opportunity
Maybe you could look into the Petz games? I played one of the earliest versions so much as a kid, and this made me think about it. I looked up a video on YT now which was a Demo Video from 1998, and the pets are so interactive and complicated(in a great way) !? Young me didn't even know all of it. Personalities, learning tricks, interacting with other pets, and more. Would love to hear more about the games, what happened with them, and your thoughts on them 🤩🌸
Ew I just found they made Babyz too? You could even talk to them??? I'm uncomfortable
the graphics of the petz games were so funny, they're literally made of circles. I really enjoyed the catz games I had as a kid.
Dogz 5 and Catz 5 are an integral part of my childhood. In fact I might just go download them right now for old timez sake.
I played the Petz ds games a TON as a child
Catz 5 had such a weird uncanny atmosphere to it. Such an oddly creepy game and that isn't even exclusive to the horror/haunted areas
I love this game, a childhood icon
Also I headcanon that the Pou alien species are actually shapeshifters. They can transform into a monstrous version of a specific plant, which is their true form; they hide it with the iconic form as to not terrify their caretakers and friends. My Pou can transform into a giant Dandelion-like alien, but others of their kind have unique forms based on different flower species. (I think another one can become a rose alien)
Hey, it said Pou is an alien pet. It never specified what type of alien (trope) they were.
it would kinda make sense, if the we think of pou as a seed! an alien plant species who's "tame form" is a seed while their "true form" is a flower creature. interesting
I legit though it was a lice because Pou(x) means lice in french.
Thats really creative and I love it! Also nice henry stickmin pfp :D!
Personally, I’m on team Pou. I don’t know why any sane person would pronounce it Pou.
I thought for the longest time that Pou was pronounced 'pow', like the comic sound effect.
one of my classmates from middle school was obsessed with pou and never cleaned up his pou, so it was surrounded by its own mess all the time, i felt very bad for him LMAO
I'm so glad Izzyyzz is talking about this. I remember playing this game so much as a kid but it honestly felt like a fever dream
