At this point, both phones trade blows and quality on both is superb. WHAT MAKES A LOT OF DIFFERENCE THO IS: *WHEN YOU UPLOAD TO SOCIAL MEDIA* 1.) Let's face it. No professional photographer will choose either phone for professional work. 2.) And People who will use these cameras are 90% of the time going to post it on social media. (Instagram, snapchat, facebook, tiktok etc) -- and we all know which phone can "shoot and upload directly" from a social media app without the quality getting too much compressed. --so for the vast majority of people, one phone (regardless of how GOOD it is in taking photos and videos), when they shoot and upload it directly from an app, it'll look like garbage. --while the other phone, will look so much better

Regardless of the history of previous Samsung devices and the heated debate about which chip is better, this time the S22 has a Snapdragon chip on it, 8 Gen 1. I have the same phone from pre-booking and had updated it right after I set it up, so I know what conditions you're talking of. The phone DOES get hot, even with regular tasks such as watching videos, high brightness, prolonged camera usage. I've read and heard that most 8 Gen 1 chips run hot, regardless of the phone (except a Motorola I guess).
Having said that, I'm hoping for Samsung to push a future update where the boost clock is slightly improved in its CPU Governor profile. But then again, the performance would face a slight hit. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. does it stay hot all the time or only during games and shooting videos kinda scenarious. does it get hot while using the phone for watching videos, using browser , using social media apps etc.. like casual use cases ?
@@sanketss84 It does not heat all the time. If software updates in the near future don't solve this, then I'll see about getting the device checked at authorized service center. Short answer. In photos: yes In videos: not completely. But this is the story of just the OEMs doing their shit on the output of the sensors. Motion cam shoots RAW and that's just crazy quality and even Prores on the iPhone can't beat the RAW video out of even old OnePlus 8 pro and mi 11 pro huh.

PS: iPhone 13 onwards you can change Photographic Styles and chose to have cool, contrasty photos as well (among other styles and this is not just a colour filter) as opposed to warm photos. But obviously this didn’t matter in this camera review for them I guess!
iPhone 13 or Samsung s22 which is better to shoot gym videos please reply?
S22 and S22+ which to choose?
Also please add Genshin Impact to your real world benchmarking tests, that is the peak power consumption an average smartphone user can have.
yes please one more vote for this
Don't buy either lol the throttling will kill you
S22 plus has better batter...rest r almost same...lil bit bright display on plus
Mainly it's matter of size preference
This is the best explanation of both the cameras..but i personally preferred the iphone camera in most of the photos
Why don't you guys showcase the performance of these camara phone through social media apps like Snapchat and insta as it is known that iPhone takes great photos with those apps also that is established but jus add 2-3 slides of the thing that how Android phones performs in those app as some people tend to click photos more often than not on their Snapchat
Can I fully depend on Samsung S22 for travel Vlogging??
For me, I can't choose iPhone anyday, if i do then i have to carry an extra android. Because for me, file system accessibility is the most important. I can literally download anything in my phone (even if my phone doesn't support the file type). Once my friend told me to download videos from a google drive link and stitch them together. While she cannot do that in her much expensive iphone, i can do that in any android.
For me i cant even look at android. File security and system stability are the most important to me.
@@VoidCosmonaut good
@@VoidCosmonaut security of samsung is also very good
As a iPhone 13 user, yes HDR messes all the time. Pixels and Samsung does waybetter job
Everyone is making camera comparison of the big mobiles. But must of the people are gonna buy these phones. So thank you for making this comparison video.
3x telephoto mode is just awesome in Samsung
I like the black background of your studio, it looks really really :) nice on amoled display
Yes
Can we do anything to fix the lens flare issue in IPhone 13??? Please suggest
Read in the news "Samsung CEO apologizes for Galaxy S22 throttling issue during annual shareholders meeting"
Smartphone cameras are now good enough to not to compare with each other. Performance also more than enough. Now it all comes down to usability and os. And most important battery life.
In that case iPhone is the best. OS is almost perfect and battery? Just watch s23 ultra vs iPhone 14 Pro Max battery test
Nailed it ❤️👍 great video 📸
Which phone is better than both of them for best camera phone?
i love the skin tones in iphone camera thry just make our sj=kin more attractive when compared to washed out skinn= tones in samsung...i personally faced these issue in my samsung s21 fe...and i sold that s21fe in just 3 months and bought an iphone 13
Make a video on custom rom
Gcam Mod : Laughs in Pixel
Can i flip the camera while reading the video on iPhone 13 or S22 ???
S22 wins (in my opinion)
I was waiting for the comment on Snapdragon 8Series Gen1 chipset at the end but didn't find it
Good god!!!! Samsung has really upped their game in camera department. I am liking Samsung more, Thank you Samsung for this one. S22 is the perfect Android phone of this year🙌.
As soon as I switched to iphone after years of defending why android is better, suddenly samsung’s camera becomes better.
Which one you will choose iPhone 12 , Samsung s21+ , Samsung s22 ?
I have already subscribed your channel but after watching this comparison I'm going to press bell icon to never miss any review...
iPhone 13 or galaxy s22 plus which have better battery?
I'm going to wait till diwali sales for the Samsung s22 for the size and camera but heating and battery makes me think..
Watching this on my S22 plus , cameras are absolute delight . Battery backup is very good!!!
Hey I want to purchase s22 plus . Tell me how is the overall experience and ita worthy to spend 88k ?
I use to play games , so it it good for gamers as well?
@@gyanaranjan6209 if you are android friendly , with good cameras , smooth User experience and also full day battery backup (without games) .Then definitely go with this . Best android flagship !!!I am in awe with this amazing display and camera . Games i havent tried yet but games like COD and BGMI should run fine. At this price definitely most premium (better than iphone 13) .
@@gyanaranjan6209 P.S. no heating issues or stutters yet since 4 days whatsoever. 😍😍
@@jyotiprakashdas2459 i am confused between ultra and s22 plus now . Which one do u think good option ?
@@gyanaranjan6209 Bro ,I love flat display and i dont need spen , nd cameras are equally good and battery is pretty much same or better by some reviewers. So that extra 25k not worth it .
You didn’t shoot this video with a7iii right?. The night mode footages were so full of noise…
08:50 - Bhai editor se bolo consistency ki spelling sahi kar de..acha nhi lagta !
In some situations, we'll have great background & good poses(during a tour), but there will be sun behind us. I have come into this situation quite a lot of times. I used vivo phone to capture, it introduced halo kind of effect when using HDR. Samsung seems to do a good job in this situation. Ahhh, if I had a S series samsung phone at those times, those photos would have been far more better.
Yes I do wanna see if Samsung s22 + has heating issues and your reviews on it. Coz I will consider S22+ over S22
1:35 iPhone has focused on subject...whereas Samsung has focused on foreground... that's why details are not there on Subject,on Samsung's image..
At this point, both phones trade blows and quality on both is superb. WHAT MAKES A LOT OF DIFFERENCE THO IS:
*WHEN YOU UPLOAD TO SOCIAL MEDIA*
1.) Let's face it. No professional photographer will choose either phone for professional work.
2.) And People who will use these cameras are 90% of the time going to post it on social media. (Instagram, snapchat, facebook, tiktok etc)
-- and we all know which phone can "shoot and upload directly" from a social media app without the quality getting too much compressed.
--so for the vast majority of people, one phone (regardless of how GOOD it is in taking photos and videos), when they shoot and upload it directly from an app, it'll look like garbage.
--while the other phone, will look so much better
can you elaborate more on which phone can upload without quality getting too much compressed ?? I am learning something new here.
Commenting here to get notified when there is an answer in the thread
@@sanketss84 iPhone uploads less compressed photos than Android phones as most of the social apps are very well optimised for iPhone that's why you see the reels shot by iPhone are really clear.
@@vibhusaxena Ohh is it , this is interesting i was not aware of.

Brother, can you please make a video on Samsung A73 and Pixel 6a Camera comparison because both fall in same price category and i am little bit confused which one to buy.
3:58. I wanted to know it for my whole life. Thanks Team techwiser.
Great video!
I hate both of them cutting in box accessories and still increasing prices every year
Is "night mode" available for portraits in S22?
Can you make an exclusive video on Career Aggregation? It should contain all the parameters which matters to support Career Aggregation in a phone. It would help buyers to choose before getting expensive phone.
So with sd 8gen any hope for gcam support in s22???
is S22+ anyway better than S22 in heating issue ?
things apart, @techwiser
don't loose guy who is selecting background music for videos
I thought the white halo on Prateek’s face could be a result of an unclean unwiped phone camera lens.
I think bro you are a true fan of Samsung...
Google pixel 6 or Samsung s22 ?
2:40 clean iPhone lens glass with a cloth, bro 😎
Yooo..Android has beaten now..the legend iphone...impressive samsung💘
Have you ever tried taking photo with the best shot AI circle in samsung camera?
Editing and sound design on this video is great !
You should change your video title, camera review does not depend on OS..you should have a title that clearly tells the audience about which device is compared with iPhone
Do you know that Samsung actually messed up the HDR, it was perfect in the s21 series. I know it because I've compared the base models of the line up
I really hate the glaring issue on my iPhone 13 but still would choose iPhone over s22 as A15 bionic and its efficiency and its smoothness beats exynos and snapdragon at every level !
But still s22 is worth it because of its 3x telephoto lens.
Dude, SnapDragon beats apple bionic in real life test...
@@gyananjayamishra8404my friend had an ip 13 and got an s2/ultra but when he played pubg mobile on the samsung he sold it…. Samsung may have perks but in performance iPhone has no competition whatsoever
8 gen 1 vs A15...
really,
don't compare with bench mark'
compare it to real life ussage
I have Samsung s22 from pre-booking, and I can say, Samsung definitely gets hot, and its like phone is using its processor a lot more, when I updated the phone after unboxing, I got afraid it might blast, it definitely gets hot, and its a big issues Samsung needs to deal with
Regardless of the history of previous Samsung devices and the heated debate about which chip is better, this time the S22 has a Snapdragon chip on it, 8 Gen 1.
@@promiscuss still they cannot resolve the heating issues 😭
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. does it stay hot all the time or only during games and shooting videos kinda scenarious. does it get hot while using the phone for watching videos, using browser , using social media apps etc.. like casual use cases ?
@@sanketss84 It does not heat all the time. If your brightness is less than 30% and you're not doing some pip activity along with using other app (for instance watching a YT video while scrolling Reddit/Instagram), then it does not heat.
I don't play games on my phone but I don't have to test it to tell you that the result won't be disappointing. I'm sure it'll reach 50°c easy.
Expect your phone to heat while using maps with gps. And in case you happen to be near or in direct sunlight, then RIP. I can't imagine how hot it'll get.
If software updates in the near future don't solve this, then I'll see about getting the device checked at authorized service center. I did discuss about heating issues prior to getting the phone with a sales rep at Samsung store. He did mention that in these cases, we try to replace the phone or change the motherboard of phone.
@@sanketss84 I had poco f1 before s22, and compared to poco, this phone definitely gets hot all the time, there are very less battery issues, like I went to college, gym and restaurant, and took photos on snapchat, and gallery, while typing to you, its 22% . The main issue is, it heats all the time, even now the back near the camera is hot, like I am playing a game, I even removed my case because of this issues
Great point @0:25.
Jay wiping the camera lens Atleast with tshirt would remove the lens flare which is considered as negative in iPhone video ..it’s not just for iPhones it’s common for every phones with camera..and the odd white layer in face on the iPhone photos is also the same reason..just wipe it and there it goes boom...🤦♂️
You video is as same as mr.whosettheboss.. bro don't copy someone,be yourself..
Brilliant video ✌️
You compared better these phones without getting biased unlike Mrwhosetheboss who is always biased towards Samsung and hates iPhone.
bro are you serious
whosetheboss is a apple guy,

Short answer.
In photos: yes
In videos: not completely.
But this is the story of just the OEMs doing their shit on the output of the sensors.
Motion cam shoots RAW and that's just crazy quality and even Prores on the iPhone can't beat the RAW video out of even old OnePlus 8 pro and mi 11 pro huh.
does the Samsung have shutter lag?
how about installing google camera mod on Samsung !!
really interested to see that, it'll get phenomenal i'm sure.
Where did u get grogu from
Be honest and tell us how the battery held up during the tests :D Because honestly I just need battery life and a fast performance
He did mention about it towards the end of the video. He had to charge the S22 twice. It was also heating up a lot.
really looking for the s22+ since s22 is too small for my liking
I really don't understand why some reviewers say iphone 13 has a better camera than s22
Please make long-term video of S22 Battery performance.
