For those who say that this is not a hate crime, I can somewhat agree to this. But the fact that asians are stereotyped as being submissive and docile would have affected the shootings because he did only shoot asian american spas massage parlors and there has to be a reason. I think many people see asians as a successful race in the US and asians should have no problem living in the US but there are many instances where i get stereotyped for being asian. I have had women ask about my genitalia size wondering if it is small. I have had dog jokes thrown at me quite a bit. Some people ask me if I watch hentai.... The list goes on and these issues are not being addressed.
