I like the stained better💖 I love how if we have a piece of furniture that we don't want to get rid of but it doesn't fit the decor anymore we can just refinish it! I've been doing that in my home also.
I just used water based stain for a furniture project. I was working with 3 different woods. The water based stain helped all the different wood species match. I’ll never go back to oil!

I definitely prefer the table that you just refinished over the gray firm house look. I love that water base stain. Works amazingly well at getting rid of that orange! Looks beautiful!
