I totally agree with you. I’m single, I’m blessed with a six-figure job… I came to a crossroad to having decide between TRX and a Raptor. I can afford to put gas in both. However, regardless of what I can afford, If nothing else, who wants to have to stop so frequently to fill up the tank? That alone would be a huge inconvenience. You are right, it’s just absurd. I think 12 miles per gallon in that vehicle is reasonable request. My raptor gets here next week, so hopefully I made the right choice.
Thanks for the outline of payments. Better understanding. I own a 2019 hellcat charger. Payments of $1055 and insurance of $380 right now. Averaging 13mph gallon. Looking like a little more for a TRX. Still debating though. Gas prices are crazy right now too 🤣
Hey, nice information. I had a pair of 2016 hellcats that I traded evenly across the table for a 2021 TRX about six weeks ago. I’m consistently getting 11-11.8 miles per gallon. Work commute is about 12 miles each way. With all of the stops I’m putting in $15 of premium each workday to keep it topped off.
My 2022 arrived 7/2/22 with 12 miles in 4 days I was able to use the launch, paid 86300 ,1000 order deposit trade in and down payment 62000 , monthly payment is 297 full coverage insurance 68 monthly and in 4 days spent 180 in fuel
Good for you man. I am contemplating on waiting for the Ford Raptor “R” and or just getting the new Gen3 with the high output TT V6. I already have a GT-350 and want to keep it and definitely getting one of those two trucks. I am worried about single digit MPG’s in a boosted V8 though…J know that has to hurt, regardless of how much money a person makes.
I really wanted a 350, but covid happened and their prices soared like crazy. Prices are going down again which is cool. If they get to the upper 30`s again I’ll bite.
Thanks for the video some good to know factors on getting one bad ass trucks. I get around 10 MPG out of the 6.4 Ram 2500 around town but that is regular fuel.
My TRX had a $97k sticker. I put down 10%, have an 805 score, 2.1% rate, payment is $1,321.98 a month with 72 month financing. Bought a 21 Redeye charger same time, 10% down and got the Chrysler capital 0% financing so payment is only $900 and change. I honestly don’t know what my insurance is cause I have so many cars on there I don’t know how much each is. It is way cheaper than yours though. Seems everyone wants to know what the payments and insurance are on these types of vehicles and what mine is will have noting to do with anyone else’s unless we are in the exact same situation which is unlikely since I have a car addiction and the funds to feed it.
thx Coy, nice video. What size gas tank does the TRX have? I've thought about stepping up to a TRX from my '17 3500 Denali diesel, but that truck runs 525-600+ miles per tankful. I bet the TRX doesn't get half of that.
That won’t work either. The 392 engine gets about the same gas mileage. I actually get better gas mileage in my Hellcat Charger than I did in my 392 Charger
Does that mess with the warranty? I paid an extra 3 grand for 7 year, 100,000 mile bumper to number warranty after the crappy manufacturer warranty expires.
Not complaining as much as I want what was advertised and I’m simply giving an accurate depiction of what the truck costs me to own it. It’s well below the advertised fuel economy by a couple of miles which wasn’t very good to begin with. I’m not going to apologize for being honest. It’s a great vehicle and I love it but I wouldn’t be true to myself if I didn’t talk about the negative with the positive.
@@flippinfunkos Well the advertised mpg is usually the perfect scenario of 60 mph, no wind, highway miles, and a light foot. I get u are being honest, its just that you really ride on the mpg issue which makes no sense for that type of vehicle.
Appreciate your honesty and it's interesting to know what kind of gas mileage you can expect. 12 mpg average is under ideal condition with a ligh foot.

Not sure if you’ll see this but TRX recommended fuel is 91, not 93. My manual says 91 recommended.
@@DAMMIT666TMPDAM There's no 91 here. We have 87, 89 and 93.
@@flippinfunkos Oh man, that sucks. I have both here. I run 91, my MPG average is 11.5
@@DAMMIT666TMPDAM I don't think I've ever seen a gas station here in NC that carries 91.

Congrats on owning your dream vehicle! Awesome looking truck
Up in Canada these are going for 120k + for fully loaded trx

Good video more videos for maintenance
Thats a killer deal for detailing. What area are you in? Here in DMV you can expect to pay upwards of $250-300 for a single quality detail.
North Carolina. My detail guy left, no notice or anything so been looking for someone

36 gallons
The only way they'll be able to raise mpg is lowering the HP.
That won’t work either. The 392 engine gets about the same gas mileage. I actually get better gas mileage in my Hellcat Charger than I did in my 392 Charger
My ram rebel gets 10.3 around town 12.8 highway
Really? My Big Horn got close to 16-17 around time and 22 on the highway. Must be the tires on the Rebel.
Yes I put 35s on it
Sounds about right. The TRX has 35s on it. Lol
My stock rebel gets that
Just curious, what do you do for a living?
I buy, sell, trade and repair cell phones and do the same with Funko pops as a side hustle.
Love the t-shirt
Thanks.
My trackhawk only gets 5mpg bud so trust me it could be worse🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I could only imagine
If you own your own business. Is it worth it after the tax deductions?
I only kept mine for two months. I opted for a Hellcat Challenger Redeye Jailbreak and a Ram 1500 Laramie instead.
Have you thought ofinstalling LPG?
I haven’t but I sold the truck a little while back. Probably going to buy another one.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The funniest part was when you said it was the best truck on the road.
Not the best but definitely the most badass
You make it sound it's easy for them to make a fuel economy to be above 10 Miles with all the horse power. You try to makes One them.
Not easy.
The only way I would buy a toy like us is if I could pay cash for it! If I can't pay cash for it, I can't afford to drive it!
Especially not now with gas prices.
How do you improve fuel economy in a 6liter plus supercharged engine pulling a large truck?
C'mon!
Probably don’t.
It’s a modern day hummer but faster lol
I wonder how much the price will drop in 4 years lol maybe then I can afford one haha or will it keep value like the raptor
In 4 years, you can probably get one for about 50,000-60,000. Just look at a 4 year old Hellcat Charger or Challenger to measure it against.
120 a month for 5 details????
It was. Guy stopped coming around and I’m not sure what happened.
Merica!❤🇺🇸
Run it in snow mode..
I don’t have it anymore.
@@flippinfunkos damn why you get rid of it?
Get it tuned so it costs less to run

Yea I don’t wanna mess with the warranty.
That’s the lowest class you can get ? Tell by the red colour , go full out in Canada and 150,000, bought mine cash so no bank involved
This video is a few years old so I’m not sure what you’re asking me
It’s not even for middle class people, insurance, service parts fuel , keep eyes on gas Station 🤣🤣🥴 good luck.
Expensive for sure
Now the real question: What Job always you to have that awesome long beard and a healthy paycheck? 🤣
I own my own business.
Lol 2k a month to drive a Dodge Ram🤯
Yep. Isn’t it awesome?! Except for the whole, Ram isn’t a Dodge brand thing. Same parent company, more like brothers than father/son type deal.
@@flippinfunkos enjoy your truck buddy, im glad your happy with it. Its nice ride.
